We rescued a yellow lab during the pandemic, and added a golden retriever about a year ago. The golden did not come from a good situation and, as an unfortunate result, is terrified of everyone and everything (at least at first). We knew we had a couple of trips coming up that the dogs would not be able to join us on. My brother and sister-in-law, having been clients of Vienna Leash for years, suggested we give Charlie a call. Boy are we happy that we did. Charlie came over no fewer than five times to just spend time with the dogs before our trips - just so they would get used to him and our golden wouldn't be terrified. I honestly don't believe any other dog walking service would have taken the time to do that. It was so greatly appreciated. But it gets better. While our golden did, indeed, give the Vienna Leash team some trouble getting leashed up from time to time (trouble that the team was able to creatively navigate), it was our yellow lab that decided to stage a mini-hunger strike while we were gone. Charlie took it upon himself to run to the store and get additives he thought might help our yellow lab eat while we were away. And it worked! All the while, the Vienna Leash team kept us updated with how the dogs were doing through text messages and videos, etc. Charlie made sure we knew the dogs were ok while we were gone. Easy online portal which allows you to make easy changes to the schedule and also provides a report card of how they handled their business and any pertinent information. 5. They always give the dogs water before and after their walk and a treat if you request they provide one of your treats. 6.
