Last summer my truck's AC quit blowing cold air. I've very mechanically inclined and found where…read morethe refrigerant leaked out. It was due to a hairline crack on the condenser likely due to the weak tack weld from the GMC factory. I took my truck into Ed Bozarth and told them where the leak was and to see if this was covered under any warranty or recall since it is a very common issue on GM vehicles. After a few hours they finished "diagnosing" my truck. They charged the AC with refrigerant and it leaked out right where I told them! They said no it wasn't covered and it'll be ~$1500 for them to replace the condenser, also I currently owe them for the labor and the refrigerant they leaked out into the atmosphere. I paid the almost $300 and left. BTW, I ordered a new condenser from Rockauto and replaced it myself, recharged the system, all for under $200 and about 3 hours of work. If the refrigerant is so bad for the environment why did they charge it when I told them it would leak out and showed them where the crack was? Very poor service department and should be avoided.

I had a very bad experience with this dealership a few years ago on a recall with my 2005 /magnum…read moreR/T my show baby! I just bought a 2025 ram 1500 a few months ago and with about 550Mi the Screen went black and the odometer was blinking. I called this place as I am in Moab Ut. and was told I could leave it in the morning with them for the day but I can"t just sit around all day. Forward 2 weeks, I am a Veteran and had just finished an open heart surgery in Grand Junction and really wanted to get this done and I was determined to find some help. I have worked in automotive shops most of my life as a Mechanic, Service writer, Service manager and other roles. I was looking around and saw Kaden at his work desk, I explained the situation and he pulled the truck right in, set me up to be a comfortable as I could be considering my circumstances and checked it out, NICE!! within 30 min. diagnosis said there was a bad screen, and the parts were ordered! I also asked them to add a brake controller as it is the only thing on the truck I wanted but did not get with it. So excellent so far, the parts are supposed to go on this week and I will update this with my results! if you need some help Kaden is your man, responsive, intelligent and helpful!!

I don't even know where to start as this has been a consistently bad experience across the board…read more It actually started with a recall appointment. I scheduled it, took time out of my day, brought the truck in, and only then was told they didn't even have the parts. Their service staff admitted they knew that ahead of time and just... didn't bother to notify me. They shrugged it off. When I asked how I was supposed to know when the recall could actually be done, I was tersely told to "just keep calling every few weeks." I later wrote a review about the experience and only then I was contacted by the Service Manager, who acknowledged how bad that was and promised they would prioritize my recall and keep me informed. Of course, that never happened. The only reason the recall eventually got done is because I physically stopped by again and asked a different service advisor. After that, I had additional issues with poor workmanship and a completely unprofessional parts department. Trying to resolve any of this has been just as bad. I spoke to my service advisor, who told me to contact the Service Manager (apparently handling issues internally is too much to ask). I emailed him, but there was zero response. I waited nearly a week and escalated to the General Manager. Nothing. Then I contacted the Dealer Principal, and someone from Western Slope Auto even took my info and said they'd call me back. No call. No follow-up. No response. This is on top of paying for an alignment that clearly wasn't done (fixed soon after by a competent local shop) and weeks of misinformation and poor communication from the parts department. At this point, the lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and complete absence of customer service is actually impressive. If you value your time, your vehicle, and your money, stay away from this dealership. It's a perfect example of poor workmanship and zero customer service.

Buy a Subaru and you will end up replacing several engines due to failed oil consumption tests,…read morewhich is the truth. Google it. There was a huge lawsuit regarding this. I am also saying this from personal experience. I will NEVER buy a Subaru again as long as I live and especially any car from this dealership. When trying to replace the third engine due to another failed oil consumption test (brand "new" Subaru engines last 30,000-50,000 miles and yes, I change and check my oil regularly), the service manager, Chris, actually told me Subaru was trying to "sweep the failed oil consumption tests under the rug" and refused to cover a new engine. Subaru wouldn't either. So I paid for a new engine myself (had it replaced by another mechanic in town), sold the Subaru, and bought a brand new Toyota. Stick with Toyota or Honda and stay FAR away from Subaru if you want a car that you can count on for more than 50,000 miles. These guys know they are selling you a brand new lemon every single time. You've been warned.

I recently purchased my new (used) vehicle from MCM and I love my new ride…read more The staff was nice and helpful without being too pushy, but it is a car dealership, so some sales tricks are to be expected. The vehicle is great. It had very low miles, a lot of extras and looked brand new. I have had no problems with it at all and have no qualms about my purchase. I have only a couple comments that I feel others should know so they don't get tripped up themselves... (1) One of my biggest issues that I voiced repeatedly to my sales person and to the finance manager was that I wanted to be sure once I filled out the application that my credit report was only going to be run once, as I did NOT want a bunch of "hard inquiries" on my credit report because I was also looking to buy a house in the near future. I was assured repeatedly that the process only included the dealership running my credit once and then submitting it to the banks/lenders for their review and approval for the loan. That was not the case. Not only did my credit report get hit more than once, but a total of 8 times from different potential lenders!! Of course I didn't know about this until about a week after the purchase. That in itself really did piss me off. Be honest with your customers! Honesty is the best policy and is what keeps them coming back. (2) The sales woman I dealt with didn't know nearly as much about the vehicle as she lead me to believe. Some of it was no big deal, but the cincher for me was I asked her if the vehicle needed premium gas. She flat out said no... Again, it wasn't until a couple days later when I went to fill up my first tank of gas that I discovered that it, indeed DID take premium. Talk about a difference in the price of gas... literally and figuratively speaking. So, do I feel burned on the purchase? No. I like the vehicle, the price was fair and the staff has been nothing but nice to me during the purchase, and since, to include working with their service department for my first oil change. The give good customer service and make you feel "at home". Do I feel that there was misinformation and manipulation in the works to "make the sale"? Yes. But, unfortunately that is part of the business of used car sales. Would I return to purchase from them again. Yes... but I would arm myself with my own research and information on the vehicle and would call them out on the only one inquiry on my credit. All in all, the purchase was solid, the staff worked to get my business and has followed up several times since to check how the vehicle is doing and sent coupons for discounted services. Educate yourself in advance on what you're purchasing and all will be good. They haven't been in business for 20-something years by giving bad customer service.

I bought this car as a fresh 20-year-old woman and during the buying process two grown men were pressuring me to buy and saying a bunch of meaningless jargon to confuse and stress me and they had me give them a 5-star review before I even left the lot. I asked them about a sound I was hearing and they assured me their in house mechanic took a look and it is spick and span, well about 3 months after my purchase the sound started progressively getting worse, I took it back to have them look at it and they said it seems to be the transmission but can't do anything about that unless I want a full replacement.(and quoted me about 6K-10K, which is more than half of what I paid to begin with) Long story short, this place sucks and I wouldn't recomend buying anything from them unless you want to get swindled.
