I am a biased yelper here due to a staff I know pretty well and the spot being very close to my home. The food is good, the new spot is clean and open, and I enjoy the bartenders who are friendly and a little crazy at times! This is also a great spot for family lunch or early dinner, they have a menu suited for many tastes and welcome kids. Their wings are solid, a little pricey but pretty meaty and I respect the fact they have a ton of flavors (and wing styles) to choose from. Beer selection in the new place blows away the other joint, nice to see some rotating taps while keeping a solid base. They also carry some good canned beers for the hipster in you, throw down a miller high life if you get a chance. Only thing that is a bit unnerving are their liquor prices. Ever since they move, they've jacked up shot prices. I understand...gotta pay for the new place but man, easy to ring up a $100 bar tab quickly if you're there to drink with a couple friends for an afternoon (do I drink too much...nah!) Shannon was our server and her bubbly attitude is just what we needed after a hard day at work. Her attentiveness does not go unnoticed. I came for breakfast, which I never would have guessed to go here for breakfast but I'm glad I did. We had almost the hole restaurant to ourselfs Saturday morning at 10. I've been coming here for lunch for several years I work in the area. Staff here is exceptional. The bars is a fun vibe but it's the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. I had the taco plate with beans and rice.... everything ice cold, flavorless, bland like from a can. Rest assured NO Mexicans working this kitchen. It was terrible, but I told the wonderful bartender that it was okay I didn't want to mess up his lunch hour... It wasn't that busy either. I have been here many times in the past, and really never had a negative experience, but I met some friends here last Sunday for some drinks and brunch, and my opinion of the place...it's gone down the tubes. It was so cold in there, I asked the server if there was any way to turn up the heat. She said she would ask, and came back and said that she turned the AC off, so it should start warming up. I order the chicken and waffles...the chicken was ok, but a little burned around the edges, the waffle was really dry, and the syrup was crystalized. The bathroom smelled like there was a sewer back up in there. All of this would have been fine, but the worst part was that I think they severely water down their drinks. I had 2 vodka drinks, which tasted ok, if not a little watered down, so after that, I ordered double tall and commented to my friends that all I could taste was the sprite. After i got my bill, I told the server that I should have gotten bottomless mimosas instead, and she told me "it's almost all orange juice anyway." I left feeling just fine, which says something considering the fact that had I drank that much anywhere else...I would be on my butt. read more

They used to have exceptional food but they have recently changed their menu. Many of our favorite items are no longer available. We ordered a blackened chicken Cesar salad and were hard pressed to find any meat whatsoever in it. Definitely not worth the price. Hopefully they go back to their old recipes and menu because that was really good. Thought we'd give it another shot tonight a few months later...Sat down on wed night at 7 pm. The bartender with the mustache is incredibly rude. I repeated my order to him twice in which neither time could be coherently repeat it back to me. Here we were...a Sunday evening after a tour of the Rockies. Home, tired from driving all day and this is the closest spot to home. Let's start with the outside appearance. Funugyz isn't your most eye appealing watering hole, yet sits in the corner of a run down strip mall that can't be ALL their fault. Upon entering you're somewhere between a dance hall in Commerce City and a sports bar/run down strip club. The dance hall portion has a fairly large dance floor with mirrors on the walls, lights and what looks like a good sized sound system. The sports bar/run down strip club comes from the makeshift television wall with leather couches that I'm sure are chock full of dropped coins, chicken wing parts and dried human fluids not sure to add that bit of spice to you cheeseburger. Yeah...not to hot. So what are the three stars for you must wonder. Well... the food at Funugyz isn't that bad. From Mexican delights to burgers and sandwiches the eats are pretty spot on and cheap. Not only that, but some pretty good happy-hour specials get folks in the door. Funugyz is also a spot know for their excellent football specials and I'm sure we'll be back to check out a Bronco game here...more for the experience and people watching than anything else. Now if you're not from the Parker area, there are several area neighborhoods including Stonegate, The Pinery, Pradera, Clarke Farms and Canterberry. There is also a neighborhood to the North end of Parker called Cottonwood also know as Cotton-hood. I'll let you guess where Funugyz is located. R.I.P. Brad James. My friend used to manage B.U.F.F. brothers restaurants and bars. And made a lot of friends among with the management and servers at there other restaurants. Tonight I went in, I did not know they had a poker night, if I did I would love to join in. Only place that had cars in-front of the place. I did not want to go in to there other restaurant/bar, Noonan's, because of the age group. So decided to go here to FuNuGyz to have a couple of drinks and some of there great wings. I loved the wings like usual, but what really turned me off, I think I was drunk at the time and time relapsed on me. I saw the bartender clean glassware and place the clean glassware on the same side where the dirties was. After an hour, I realized that they had a glassware washer in the bar. The lapsed timing was between the bad service that I got and the time I got my food. I was once asked if I saw a difference of the normal serving that I gave and the speedy and flutter service were different. I didn't gave the manager an answer because I did see a difference. Where I work at, we have standards when and to meet with the customer or guest at... Well, I do not meet that. I do what I want and what is not needed of me to get shit done. Apparently, the bartender is use to having a busy bar and is running around a lot. I went in to have a couple of beers and have my favorite BUFFalo Hot wings. I got to the place and went in and decided to seat at the bar. After seating at the bar, it took the bartender a long time to greet me, I think about 3-4 minutes. When the bartender finally got to me, she'd stared at me. I felt a little intimated because she didn't say anything, just walked up and stared at me. I know I looked a little young to be in a bar, but you do not have to be rude about it. After about 30 seconds of being stared at and no words being exchange, I said, "Can I get a bud?" So she asked for my id and such. She nevered asked me if I was getting food or anything else. I felt I was being judged at that point and the rest of the experience of being there. The bartender was not friendly, it was a passive experience, I got my order and it arrived. This is where I got grossed out, in middle way of eating my meal. The bartender apparently was loading the dishwasher; what I saw the bartender putting glassware away after being cleaned and placed in the same spot where the dirties were. My mind was not set, so I thought or I could taste soap or lotion on my wings, which made me stop eating. I use to love to go the other BUFF brothers restaurants when they owned them. I just wished I had my friend there or even could say that I know Brad James and he would not put let me eat this, if shit was happening there. read more

We have been here twice and had the same experience both times. The menu is extremely over priced for what they give you. We came here for brunch last time and non of us were completely satisfied with our meal. It was "meh". One person from our group wanted hash Browns instead of eggs with his biscuits and gravy, but the waitress said "hmmm yeah I don't think that we can do that". I am in the service industry and I know for a fact that if you have the ingredients to do it, then you can do it! The drink menu is over priced as well. $10.50 for a Moscow Mule?! Wow. Service was the same both times. SLOW. We really have tried to like this place. Lower your menu prices to match the quality of food and service. Then maybe we will come back. read more

I like the wings. They serve them naked and then you can add the sauce yourself - which is what I liked best. What I didn't like at all is that the people who smoke go just outside the door and then they prop open the door to let fresh air in. Aside from the absurd phonetic abortion that is this bars name, this bar reminds me of the kinds of places I would go as a freshman in college when I couldn't get into cool bars; and unfortunately it doesn't maintain that cool dive-y atmosphere that a place like this would usually have (and I really enjoy.) Kind of a limbo between shitty bar, and a bar so shitty that it's cool. However, there is a ton of shit to do in here: pool tables, darts, video games, and shuffleboard - probably the second most fun thing you can do bent over a table when your drunk. There is also a calendar with a bunch of different crap going on in that you can do (nothing really appealed to me, but I could see a bunch of dudes in Affliction T-shirts and aviators really getting down on some UFC.) The prices are reasonable, but no specials are awesome enough to make me say "OH man! Gotta get to that place with the incomprehensible name tonite! The specials are awesome." I would not seek this place out; if a group of friends were going, I might suggest somewhere else or begrudgingly come along - but this place is not so bad that I would outright refuse to go. read more

STOLEN PROPERTY ZERO STARS Usually my boyfriend and I enjoy our time at FuNuGuyz ,but tonight is a whole new story. We arrived at the restaurant around 7:00pm, we were there until past 9:30pm and our waitress visited our table maybe 3 times not including giving us the check. In fact another waitress noticed we were not getting service and asked us if we needed the check even though we weren't in her section. We would be more understanding if our waitress had a busy section but we were 1 of 4 tables and the other three tables were being serviced to a disproportionate extent. Due to the lack of attention we did not leave a tip, and unfortunately due to be distracted over the situation a phone was left behind. The Find My IPhone app showed that the phone was still at FuNuGuyz and when we called, the woman on the phone didn't even bother to look for more than 30 seconds, gave us attitude, muttered to another employee that "it wasn't her problem" and hung up. The general manager who spoke to me was completely nonchalant, and kept making snide remarks about the situation. This is 100% serious and not a joke what so ever and FuNuGuyz needs to return our property or this will be taken a lot further than a google review. read more

Okay, this rating is for breakfast... We went to The Egg and I, iHop, Village Inn and all had long waits. Then we find FuNuGyz! Best kept secret in Colorado! Outstanding Bloody Mary Bar, great food and the servers are friendly and efficient. Oh and you can watch the Michigan game, Yale game, and other FAR less important games. First, let's talk about the good: The food. Their wings really were awesome. We got a pound the breaded lemon-pepper wings and they were perfectly done, very large wings with great flavor. We even went back a week later to order them again (also got the Parmesan garlic wings, which were good, but not as good). They also have home-made from scratch hummus (we got the roasted red pepper), which was a real surprise considering the target audience. It was very tasty and had some very tasty fresh veggies along with it. And now, the bad: THE LOUD-ASS COUNTRY MUSIC. Seriously, the food is enough to bring us back, but the loud music will keep us from ever stopping here again to eat. Maybe to-go, but never to sit and eat. We ate lunch on the patio, and I'm seriously not kidding when I say that my ear that was facing the speaker was ringing when I left. Both times we were there we asked if the music could be turned down. The waitress even commented that she can't hear her customers to take orders. I understand that having the music turned up for the evening bar crowd makes sense... but at lunch? In the long run, that's going to keep people away. Seriously one of my favorite places to go! I used to play poker there on Fridays, and always had so much fun. Their food is really tasty and their service is usually incredibly quick. Fun atmosphere and a great place to hang out with friends. One of my favorite bartenders is Sky, and the rest of the staff is friendly and personable. I love the new FuNuGyz location! The space is much brighter, fresher and cleaner than the old spot, all good things. They still have the same menu offering some good bar food, burgers, wings and Mexican specialties, and the food is all still delicious. I really love their sliders... yum! Beers are still cheap, and no matter where you sit you're surrounded by TVs, making this the perfect spot for sports. I suspect that they'll also be fun to visit in the summer, since they seem to have several roll-up doors to a patio area. We recently visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and they had live music in the afternoon, which was really awesome. The only thing that kept this from being 5-stars was that service was pretty slow - but you can't get everything. The music was good enough that we didn't mind the wait. Overall, big props to FuNuGyz for taking the best of their old location (cheap beer, great food) and moving it to a much nicer spot. We'll definitely return! read more

Fun local bar. Kind of divey. Diverse crowd but mainly Parker locals. FUN place to watch a game. Tv's everywhere. Sliders are great. Wings are large BUT not their speciality. CON: If you get a doubleshot, they charge you for 2 drinks (no price break). When asked why they somehow insist ALL OTHER bars either charge the same, or are not really giving the customer a true double shot. You know, I didn't just turn 21 ;-). As such I avoid the GreyGoose as a double will run you close to, but not quite, $20. read more

It took forever for our bartender to remember to come back and take our dinner order. The owner needs to up the training in this place. We would of enjoyed another beer if it were offered. Do it for the chicken strips. I'm obsessed. I've been there three times (once for each time I've visited Denver this year) and it's something I look forward to every time. Their drinks are very very expensive but their food is decent for bar food. If you're drinking AND eating, expect a high bill. But I promise the food- the chicken strips- are worth it. They're breaded in corn flakes, thin, flat pieces. And the ranch they pair it with is to die for. I'm a ranch snob. I live for a homemade buttermilk ranch. Ever since Tim started managing the place, the quality of Funugyz has increased ten fold. It's a whole new staff, who are great, and the kitchen absolutely kills it now! I actually come in to just get food on occasion! Since my last post, I visit more regularly. It's a pretty awesome place to get tore up. I get to play darts, shoot pool, play poker, etc. I'm pretty sure, I feel more comfortable at Funugyz now then I did before. Over the years, the drinks have gone up in price but hey, that's inflation baby! Expect to spend about $30-$50 if you're going to be drinking a few shots and drinking a few tanks. read more
