PB & J Funnel Cake Sandwich (seasonal specialty item for the Epcot International Festival of the Arts)
    Steph Q.

Honestly, how can you not rate this place higher than a 4. If you're looking for a funnel cake on the Walt Disney World (WDW) property, this little shack in the American Pavilion at Epcot is THE SPOT! I've stopped here over the course of decades growing up until now in my adult life and they never disappoint. Funnel Cakes are always super fresh, fried perfectly crisp, and are accompanied by toppings that make sense to your taste bud's preferences. Service is always efficient and friendly. Plus, throw in the Disney magic and you're on Cloud 9! The Cookies and Cream Funnel Cake may be my favorite since I'm a sucker for the ice cream flavor, but I most recently tried the PB & J Sandwich seasonal speciality for the International Festival of the Arts and it was to die for. I hope they will make it a permanent item on the menu or at least consider ensuring it stays on the seasonal menu each year for the Festival of the Arts. It was a funnel cake sandwich with peanut butter ice cream and some cream in the middle, drizzled with jelly and topped with powdered sugar. Tasted just like it's name boasts: a peanut butter and jelly funnel cake. Shared it with another person and it was a perfect size for the two of us without going into diabetic shock. There aren't many opportunities and locations to indulge in a funnel cake at WDW, so if you're visiting Epcot and have finally made it to that middle area back in World Showcase, treat yourself to a funnel cake at this location. You won't regret it!

The name says it all. This is the place to go if you want a traditional American treat while strolling around Epcot's World Showcase. I'll admit that I've overlooked it for years, not realizing how good funnel cakes are and typically passing up anything from the American Pavilion for something more "exotic". But after seeing a picture of the cookies n' cream funnel cake, my boyfriend and I had to try it for ourselves. It includes everything the stand has to offer: funnel cake w/ sugar, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. And then throws crushed Oreos into the mix. It was a hot night so the ice cream melted into a sauce pretty quickly but it still added a nice creaminess to balance the crunch of the Oreo pieces. There's nothing particularly fancy or unique about this stand, but it's a great treat to satisfy a sweet tooth and we enjoyed it a lot.

They definitely know how to create a romantic mood and atmosphere. We got the "Easter special" which I would skip I think. Best part was the meringue raspberry cookie but everything was just fine. Also seemed much more themed to Valentine's Day than Easter. Now the "Fourgasm" sampler is great. You start off with a cheesecake, then get to a caramelized carrot cake, followed by some kind of chocolate cake/pie and finish it off with a red velvet cake. The desserts get better and better as you eat them (if you start off with the cheesecake which they recommend) I also got the "Sex-spresso Martini" and that was delicious too. But I've never met an espresso martini I didn't like. One of my favorite parts is giggling at the ridiculousness of the names and descriptions of each item. You can tell they really had fun writing them.

I didn't even realize that there's this chain named Mango Mango! I am so happy they made it to Florida. There are so many things on their menu: ice cream, crepe, waffle, drinks... and the decision between mango and durian... I want them all! The mango is very smooth, totally fiber-less, and I'm in mango heaven!! The shop is kind of out of the way, as least for a tourist, but worth the drive!

I orders the Strawberry Mango Juice Sago & Lychee Jelly w. Mango Ice Cream and the Nutella and strawberry crepe with coconut ice cream. Everything is fresh and light and every time I leave, I'm already looking forward to coming back The space is light and welcoming and has a good amount of seating. The staff is friendly and helpful and the orders seem to be filled pretty quickly. They even have a little stand where they sell blind boxes and other goodies, so fun! I've already brought one of sisters here and look forward to bringing even more family and friends to enjoy some seriously wonderful desserts!
