I have on my video camera when he showed up and when he left. The AC does not get my house cold and whatever the issue is its clear its their fault since theyve gone. I have had my house at 62 all day and its only gone up in temperature.

Towards the end of the day, after they closed, their guy was on his way home and texted me, "you at home? I'm heading your way and can stop by on my way home if you are there". I jumped at a reply to say, "yes"! He showed up. Asked me some qualifying questions about when it worked last, what it was doing, etc.. He started pulling tools out and making noises and removing panels and such. I was dreading the possible issues. I was nervous and that was an understatement, but he wasn't nervous or stressed. Just cool as could be. He was very "matter of fact" in his movements. I calmed down because i could see immediately that this was not his first rodeo and that he new exactly what he was doing. Whatever it was going to be, i was prepared for, because of how methodical he was. In the end, my capacitor was bad. He replaced it with an american made part that had a fantastic warranty. He put everything back together and when done, we chitchatted for a few minutes when he said, "Let me check on the temperature before i leave to make sure everything is good". He pulled panels again, hooked up hoses and just made sure that everything was running the way it should before he left. That was the selling moment for me. The double checking to make sure he left me all squared away. That was when i said to myself, "I got my AC people for life...won't use anyone else...ever". I did feel like his pricing slid up as the quick 20 minute job went on and it was much more expensive for his labor than I anticipated. I get that we pay for experience and emergency calls, but a $150 part for $700 after already paying over $100 just to have him look at the thing crushed me. I explained my situation and how my old water heater was draining my batteries after my solar system had charged them throughout the day. After discussing my options, we decided on a heat pump water heater. Ethan and Colton completed the installation, and everything turned out great. I've had the new water heater for over a month now, and I am able to stay on solar power and battery backup without switching back to PG&E. It completely resolved my issue.
