It's moist, flavorful, and not overly salty. Perfect for anyone who doesn't like a heavy smoke or a salt‑bomb of a salmon. Great for old people. Their smoked oysters are unbelievable. Absolutely top‑tie. Hopefully they took my Norwegian advice -- I'm still the best smoker around, but they're a close second. I'm cooking their bratwurst now, and they look fantastic. They've got a little kick, they're incredibly moist, and they plump up beautifully when cooked. So many brats lack proper fat infusion -- not these. They nailed it. Just the right amount. I haven't tried the Ribeye or Tenderloin yet, but I expect they'll be just as flavorful. Conclusion: This place is outstanding. At the very least, try their smoked King Salmon. It's wild, not farmed, and it's phenomenal. I highly recommend stopping by and trying their Oysters and/or Smoked Salmon.

Whether you're grabbing a quick snack, gifts, or stocking up on favorites, CB Nuts never disappoints. Their roasted nuts are especially incredible and easily some of the best we've ever had. You can really tell they take pride in what they do given how small scale they keep it. We love it so much we have been back twice in a month. Maybe it was the time of year we went, maybe it was an off day, maybe the planets weren't aligned…read moreon this very warm, beautiful Sunday morning but what a disappointment. Firstly, $10 for 12 hour parking (the only option they offered) when typically on Sundays parking is free (at least at the Port Orchard farmers market it is), and we only planned on stopping by for some farm fresh vegetables and sticking around for maybe an hour. There were maybe a total of 18-20 tents all selling crafts and things of that nature. We saw household plants, but nothing "farm" related. We paid $10 for parking to essentially wander off outside the Kingston ferry terminal where the majority of shops were either closed or uninteresting. I saw another Yelp review put it perfectly, "less on the farm more on the market". The live music was ok and brought about a decent atmosphere, unfortunately that was the only redeeming quality of this experience. Again, maybe it was the time of year (end of July) or maybe it was the heat. It wasn't worth the 27 minute drive nor the $10 parking when we were there maybe 15 minutes. Go to the one in Port Orchard, they actually sell vegetables and great stuff from local farmers. I didn't take pictures because it was so depressing.

This review is a couple of weeks late! It includes a follow up to my actual visit to the shop. I…read morewas visiting Poulsbo with my family when we walked into Boehm's to pick up some treats. We ended up buying several treats as this shop was filled with a variety of goodies. I should mention that the temperature was in the low 80s the day we went, so we were especially enticed with the sign displaying something about ice cream :) My son-in-law loves ice cream, so he got their ice cream bar which I believe it hand dipped in chocolate and covered with nuts and toffee. I wanted to bring back some treats from Washington (I'm from California), so I grabbed some bagged candies (white chocolate matcha green tea almonds, Mexican vanilla almonds, huckleberry gummy grizzlies) and a couple of chocolate bars. Side note: we recently lost our dog named Grizzly, so I had to get the grizzly gummies! We also picked out some assorted chocolates at the counter. Our haul paid off because not only did we leave happy, the treats I brought back for my coworkers were a hit. This is where the follow up happens. I was asked about where I got the white chocolate matcha almonds, so we looked it up on their website. They were not listed, so the week before last, I called the shop to inquire about the possibility of ordering more and whether or not they can ship it. I spoke with someone named Kendall who was super helpful. She spoke to the owner and called me back. The answer is yes! They can ship, but the shipping cost would be quite expensive. She let me know that the owner is Karen and I can inquire further when I'm ready (which I'm thinking/hoping will be this fall, before the holidays). Wonderful quality chocolate and candies, and even better customer service.
