I am being very charitable with the second star. We drove from Tucson to look at a truck camper. I specifically asked if there were any leaks or repairs that were obvious. I had a feeling this was not going to go well after google mapping the location, but we had other places to visit in Phoenix so we added it to the list. The area is sketchy, the lot is off of a side street and between businesses to enter a yard of older RVs. The office was horrible, beatup, smoke smelling, wires down. The staff looked like he woke from a rough weekend. BUT he was cool and helpful. The camper was set up to look at, and as soon as we opened it we could smell the mold! We checked it and the damage to the exterior and water damage interior were obvious and awful. To be fair they left us to inspect everything. As we had seen some awful campers for ridiculous prices in Arizona, we decided to look better, because the price wasn't bad for a fix up. When we declined, the guys talked to us about our needs and we checked out a few of the Class Cs. Nothing met our needs, but they were cool and not pressuring at all. Because they were cool (maybe not 'fun') I'll give them a charity star. Some of the other RV's were decent but definately older. I'd just assume you will have to put some work into these, just like buying from a personal seller. read more

We searched for months for a fifth wheel that was exactly what we always wanted. We found it on a web site (don't remember which one), but it was at FUN TIME RV. It was a good price and looked exactly like the pictures in person. The three guys were AWESOME as well. They took a small deposit from us to hold it for a week while we put together the money (we had thought they do loans there, but they don't). So we picked it up the next weekend and all was great. The only small issue is that some guy ( I think a mechanic) was told to tell us about the gadgets inside so we knew how to use them. His response to us was "what do you need to know, everything is self explanatory." Uh, maybe to you , bud, but not to a first time owner. ****Worst Sales Experience of my Life**** Just the highlights: I knew what RV I wanted and where to have it delivered in from. All they had to do was complete the predelivery inspection and walkthru like the easiest sale ever made. What I received instead was undelivered promises, accusations and lies. The RV was NOT inspected!!! The shower flooded the bathroom on the very same night I brought it home. I was informed that I needed a larger hitch so I bought one only to be told that I didn't need it and would NOT be reimbursed for it AFTER we drove home with the RV on an under rated hitch that could have killed someone. I found the exact rv I was looking for at a great price from fun time rv on Craigslist. I spoke to Gary on the phone several times to make sure the 25' Winnebago Warrior they had was still there and in good shape. He assured me that it was the cleanest one he's seen. I made the 400 mile drive out to Phoenix from Los Angeles with my tow bar, ready to make the purchase and drive home. When I pull up, they have the RV parked up front waiting for me. As soon as I get close to it, I realized my 800 mile round trip drive was a waste. The unit is filthy and the windshield is cracked all the way across. I step inside the rv and the filth continues. The carpet is disgusting, there's greasy handprints on the dashboard and all around the engine cover. I fire the engine up and the AC compressor sounded like it was going to explode. When I shut the AC off, I could then hear an exhaust leak from the manifolds. At this point I was over test driving it. I walked through the unit to inspect the interior that had been shoddily remodeled with plywood and rolled on paint. It looked like maybe a homeless person was using this unit as their primary residence. When I told Gary it was in pretty rough shape, he still exclaimed it's excellent for it's age and didn't want to admit otherwise. I think he was hoping that I'd buy it because I committed my day to driving out here. My day was already ruined, I didn't need to make it worse by blowing $7500 on an RV that's probably worth closer to $3000. If I lived locally I wouldn't be leaving this poor review. I'm leaving this review because I had Gary's word that it was worth me investing my day to make the trip to buy his RV when it clearly wasn't. Gary failed to disclose issues that would deem it not only unsafe to drive, but unlawful to drive. read more

I called Gary at funtime RV as I was looking at a RV on craigslist. I've shopped RV's for a while and the price seemed to be in the area if the others I looked at. I liked the diesel propane type engine so I called Gary. We made a deal over the phone and Gary assured me fly in drive out. Well $300 early flight and guess what? The RV looked terrible filthy dirty and I sent a copy of my plane ticket! They knew I was coming. Then the windshield was cracked from top to bottom! Then the batteries were dead and wouldn't even jump with a jumper. I asked you knew I was coming, the unit is filthy (see the pic windshield and dirt). The said they would put a battery in it but the windshield was my problem. Now this is the driver's side windshield that's a safety issue! God know I'm sure it had a lot more pop problems. Now another $300 to fly home because Funtime RV doesn't bother to disclose any truths about the condition see pics of an RV I was to buy after flying to Funtime RV. Needless to say don't even call them it's a mostly old junk RV's dealership. And Gary instead of appreciating and respecting the deal he made and that $600 round trip told someone to take me back to the airport. Rude and horrible experience. It takes a lot for me to Yelp so if you read this and still do business with them...you're crazy! read more

I recently purchased an RV, representing our church, from this company. After possession of the RV, I discovered repairs were not performed as requested. This was confirmed by independent repairmen I showed the problem to. When I pointed this out, Gary (one of the owners) took no responsibility whatsoever. He only declared, "he was unaware of what had occurred", even though he hired the worker! I truly believe they take advantage of first time RV buyers, like myself. Went to the MVD to get a title they informed us that the VIN numbers on the temporary registration and bill of sale do not match. We are trying to get rid of the piece of junk they sold us but are getting nowhere fast with no title!!!! They will not respond to emails, texts, phone calls or anything. Gary really took care of us! I purchased a 1994 37' Fleetwood Pace Arrow there this past July 2016. I was told the truth, left alone to thoroughly go over the RV, for as long as I wanted to. No hassle no BS and we negotiated a price rather easily. I was treated like a valued customer. The lot and office are minimalist and not a like a new car lot type experience. A 1 star is generous for some one who steals. I recently was going to buy a motorhome from this company I dealt with Gary who is the general manager he seems like a good guy at first. We agreed on a price and I sent a $200 deposit to hold it. When I went to go finish up my loan the bank requires a picture of the title, I did not think this would be a problem considering Gary had already told me they had the title. Couple days went by I had not seen anything from Gary I called him and he said it was complicated and he did not know when they would have the tile at this point I did not trust Gary he had already lied about the title so what else is he lying about on the motor home so I asked for my deposit back. Gary said they would not refund me. So at this point it is theft. Do not buy from this place and if you do make sure they have everything in order they will lie to you. We went to this place to buy a used trailer that was put online as being in good condition. When we got it home, there were way too many places where the ceiling inside was rotted, the floor had soft spots where we stepped through the floor, also the kitchen counter is all rotted in the corner from water damage . I know we probably should have checked it out more but we trusted him. We did see when we bought it that it needed wallpaper and linoleum. There was no problem with that. But all the underlying water damage is horrific. I even called the owner of Funtime RV and told him about all the rot . He tried to tell me he did not know anything about it. What a liar he is. That is his job to know about it . It is his reputation on the line . It is funny that he did not hesitate to go from 4995 down to $3,500 for the trailer when he says he did not know anything about it . He should have gone down a heck of a lot more for all the work we have to put in it . The sad part is we are people that do not have a lot of money and we had to borrow the money to buy this trailer. Please do not buy a used trailer from them unless you want to have to put a lot of work into it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

We financed a 5th wheel for $10k. The first day we had it the ac needed replaced. We got no assistance in repairing this. $800 out of pocket for a new unit after we were told it worked great. Through the past 5 months or so we have taken it out 2 times and noticed little things here and there which aren't a big deal but today as we are driving through New Mexico the awning fell off at 70 mph that was installed by fun time rv. We discovered it was only secured to the super thin paneling. It was not bolted to the frame. I am very disappointed with the quality and condition of our expensive purchase vs what we were told about it day of sale. It's a good thing my boyfriend is a mechanic. Oh also the toilet leaks....
