I can say without hesitation that Creche offers the perfect balance of hand's on learning combined with an emphasis on learning through play. The teachers are warm, nurturing and collaborative. My daughter struggles sometimes with emotional regulation. I speak with her teacher regularly about her progress. We share strategies and observations and have teamed together to collaborate on her success. In addition to the positive overall learning environment, Creche offers a strong sense of community for the parents, which is unique. Mr. Phil runs a tight ship and is super aware and involved in every aspect of the school. I love that he has such an amazing relationship with his staff and there's hardly any issues with staff retention. Our 3 year old just started there as well and if all I have to thank TLVM for is the potty training, which we failed at miserably, I'm happy. Having said that, we have much more to be thankful for. We've taken classes starting at the Tiny Tots programs all the way up to the Pre-K level classes. The teachers are all kind and caring and my children have made wonderful friends. They have learned so much during their time here both academically and socially. The curriculum is play-based, but it is still structured enough to be a very beneficial option to assist with transitioning into a traditional Kindergarten environment. The classes take place inside a really neat historic school house and often includes outdoor adventures to the adjacent playgrounds and Frying Pan Farm Park to visit with the animals. I wish my own preschool experience had been this fun!
