We've had such a great experience with Robin's Nest. We enrolled our two kids with some trepidation about six months ago. Up until then, our bubble had been very small and the prospect of joining a daycare with unknown families taking unknown precautions was SCARY. Renee was warm and friendly on our tour and really put our minds at ease about the care and attention they're putting into keeping everyone safe. Being able to enroll for a partial day sealed the deal, and the whole team was so flexible as we figured out what drop-off/pick-up times worked best. There is plenty of free play built into the day and the outdoor space is beautiful and spacious (plus, chickens!). The teachers are engaged and my kids are always excited to see them when we arrive. Drop-off and pick-up are loud and rambunctious, but I think that's true anywhere. Our kids have learned so much and it has been incredible to watch them have some normalcy after the weird isolation of quarantine life. This place has definitely saved our sanity, possibly my job, and given my kids wonderful friends and memories. We can't say thank you enough. read more

My son was cared for at Robin's Nest from 4 months old to 15 months old. I truly felt like he was cared for everyday and felt a wave of happiness everyday when he smiled reaching out for his teachers at drop off and not wanting to leave at pick up :) Renee and her staff are accommodating, friendly, caring, responsive and professional. Having to navigate through the world of Covid during our time there, I felt safe sending my son back when they were able to reopen as the appropriate procedures were strictly followed. I took my daughter there when she was less than a year. Robin's Nest was the first child care that she went to after she was born. They made the transition so easy. I love the app they use to keep parents in the loop. I love their attention to detail. From the cute backpacks they give the kids to the embroidered tag with their name on it for the backpack. No detail too small. We recently moved so we are leaving Robin's Nest. I really wish we could have stayed with Robin's Nest. Looking at new places we really had it good with Renee and her team. We've had two children at Robin's Nest. Both started around 4 months and we've now experienced the infant, toddler and pre-school room. We've been very pleased with the quality of the care, engagement of the teachers and the education. Our kids have thrived and are excited to walk in the door everyday. The teachers send lots of photos throughout the day, and it's so nice to see all of the kids having fun and enjoying their day! We love Robin's Nest. Our son is about to turn 2, and he has been going since he was about 3 months old. He gets excited to put his backpack in the car every day, and comes home hungry (in a good way) from all the playing and running around. For parents, they do a great job of keeping you up to date with an app that tracks everything your child is doing, and photos of all the cute moments. Everything is very clean, and everyone is very attentive. It is a fun and caring environment, and we hope to be part of it for years to come. read more

I'm sorry to go against the grain here, but we had a terrible experience. My child was unable to adjust. He spent a majority of the day in a small, fenced in portion of the facility. He cried when I left, and was still crying when I returned. There was no lock on the door from the building into the facility. The caregivers seemed uncaring and gave me little information about his day. I emailed the owner asking how my son was doing, and she would respond days later. There was a complete change in my child after going here. I know others seem to really like it and rave about it. Unfortunately, that just was not our experience. read more

Our daughter starting going to Robin's Nest at 7 months old. Transitioning to a daycare can be so hard but the staff at Robin's Nest and especially Renee, the owner, made it so easy. I felt comfortable knowing there was a secure pickup/dropoff process where parents had to enter a code. The app they use allows me to know exactly what is going on in her day from how much she ate and what (which helps when planning dinner), how long she slept, how many diapers she went through and pictures throughout the day. I knew right away that this was the perfect choice for us. It's a great mix between the commercial daycares and an at home daycare. The staff is amazing. We also use a few of the teachers as babysitters for the weekends! I would highly recommend Robin's Nest to anyone looking for a homey atmosphere for their child. read more

We started bringing our son Noah to Robin's Nest in 2012, first as part-time drop in care but then later as full-time, pre-k care. We absolutely love this center and provide our recommendation without hesitation. We wanted something different from the traditional daycare center where Noah could be with kids of all age groups, but that had more structure than a small, home based day care. We found that with Robin's Nest. They have the more traditional lesson plans and circle time, getting the kids ready for kindergarten but they also blend in more hands on activities that the kids love. How happy was I when the older children started a raised garden outside? That they tend to the garden, pick the vegetables and make lunches from what they've raised? Noah came home one day knowing what composting was! This is the type of instruction that will stay with him for his whole life, the kinds of things that I want him to learn. They also started a soccer class, have music teachers and so much for all of the kids. read more

I take my goddaughter here. She is a boisterous, spirited 2 year old and she is happy as a clam. She enjoys the outdoor space, gets alot of reading time. She comes home talking about all of her best friends at the daycare. It seems like they have a great group of kids that attend. The facility is very clean and the staff are very attentive to her. The staff have been employed at Robin's Nest for a long time so its great it feels like such a family there. The location is very convenient to my work and I really feel like I would not take her anywhere else! read more

We have been at robins nest for about 4 months, and I am satisfied with the care that our daughter has received. My daughter is always happy and clean when I come to pick her off, ANSI am comfortable with leaving her there each morning. Robins daughter is in the process of taking over, and I am very excited to see what she has planned for the daycare. Robin has 30 years of experience, and I have a ton of respect for that. We had a few issues when we first started, but everyone needs time to get used schedules and having a new baby around. I was comfortable addressing concerns with robin, and the staff, and things were resolved. I am sorry that the other person had such a bad experience, but I wonder if he/she expressed concerns to robin in order to get things resolved. read more

If you are looking for a great mix between a home daycare and a commercial daycare, you have found the spot! It is small, comfortable, and everybody that works there knows my name, my husband's name, and my son (his personality, his likes, dislikes, etc.). My son has been at Robin's Nest since September of 2013. Unfortunately, we are moving out of town and have to leave this wonderful daycare. How did we know it was the right place for our 9 month old son? He climbed directly into Renee (the owner's) arms the minute he met her. That didn't happen anywhere else we went! He felt right at home from the start. For those of you that are breastfeeding mamas, Robin's Nest is VERY supportive of this as well and follows all of the correct protocol with paced feedings and care of the stored milk. It made for an extremely easy transition from home to daycare. They are warm, caring, and educationally focused. They also promote nutritional foods that are kid oriented and tasty! We are so thankful for Robin's Nest and really upset we have to leave them. We don't think we will ever find a place as amazing as this one. read more

My daughter has been at Robins Nest for a few months now, and we have been really pleased. They helped us transition through her separation anxiety and now she is very well adjusted to the environment and caretakers. The outdoor space is great, she brings home lots of arts and crafts, and is well fed and cared for. The staff put on fun activities for the kids and their families for holidays/events, such as Halloween and Christmas (ex: Santa came to school, they had a Halloween party with a magician and other activities), which are really fun as well. I also like the online log that is utilized and can be accessed remotely, so I can see what my daughter has been up to and what she has been eating/drinking. They have a private facebook page for parents, where you can see pics of your kids and others having fun during circle time or outside. They are very flexible with part time schedules and very reasonably priced, which can be hard to find. It's a great mix between an in home day care and a child care center--taking on the best of both environments. Overall, it is a great spot! read more
