Everyone is lovely and remembers my daughter by name even though she is only there 1-2 times a month. Ms. Seemab is especially lovely and always provides such nice feedback about what my daughter learned throughout the day and how she did. I love the daily emailed reports, which include tons of cute videos and pictures. I feel very comfortable and confident that she is in great hands while she's at Chesterbrook.

Shortly after we were warned by someone we met that it's not a good school, they were right. There are many families on grants and financial support (lower income),which we did not mind, though there is no system in place and the preschool lacks leadership and clear guidance from the director and corporate. Teachers don't seem to know when asked questions and do not make any decisions. Often, staff members were on their cell when I came to pickup. It is not Regio or Montessori teaching approach, and from what I've seen the teachers cut and glue the art projects, the children learn by repeating and being indoctrinated with information instead of exploring hands-on and being asked open-ended questions. We were not updated when there were issues that rose, and only found out after the fact that things were handled poorly and without any consent from the parents. This is our third child and I work in education, if you value your child's education and want them to thrive in a supportive, welcoming and communal environment, there are better options out there.

When we moved him it was such a tough decision, because we all love Ms. Lidia and Michelle and they love the children so much. Since his preschool is shut down for the government shutdown (it's on government site) - she has allowed him to come back and it was like going home and we were all comfortable right away. It has allowed us to keep a good routine for him and reconnect with some old friends he was with as a baby, and make new. She has been super professional, accommodating and loving for our family. Her assistant Michelle is amazing as well as they represent a great one-two combo. Having two persons for oversight can only portray better safety measures. I do have to say her pricing is definitely competitive with your commercial and nonprofit day care centers as we have experience with three girls going through different day cares. Lidia, thanks for all you've done for us and continue to be who you are. I really do hope people don't find this review as bogus but more genuine. If anybody was to meet you for the first time and also take tour of your place I would almost guarantee no persons would go to look anywhere else.

We love the daily reports! The security protocols provide an effective defense-in-depth strategy that I think adds significant peace of mind. The children are safe, secure and well taught. Discipline is effective and consistent with a focus on positive reinforcement and good decision making. Accidents/incidents are communicated rapidly and the staff are very attentive to the health and well being of our children. The facility is clean and sanitized with the attention of detail that has resulted in the best environment for our children. The food options are excellent and provide a balanced meal to keep our little ones fed and nourished. Issues or concerns that were communicated by myself to the staff were respectfully discussed and addressed in a timely manner. The events and activities that are sponsored by the academy are great team building opportunities for the parents and staff. Additionally, they provide a strong foundational marker for the children to observe the parents being a part of their educational journey. Highly recommended!

It felt like Owlets was a support system even outside of school hours. We loved the balance between structure and free play and really felt like Little Owlets prepared my daughter very well socially and knowledge-wise for kindergarten - the transition to elementary school was a breeze. My child LOVED the Montessori-inspired activity time and still talks about it. And there were so many creative and fun activities - cooking, yoga....We loved that outdoor time was emphasized in all but the worst weather and the kids got in quality outside play and exercise time. There can be no doubt that most of the credit goes to the talented and conscientious teacher, Miss Anitha. From learning good manners to reading small sentences to knowing time/calander, planets, and countries, my daughter has thrived in an environment where she is nurtured, challenged, and loved. Miss Anitha and her supporting teacher have done a tremendous job of balancing creativity, fun, learning, and play where my daughter comes home with new concepts and experiences. The kids are exposed to different cultures by celebrating worldwide festivals, Spanish language, experimental science, geography, and many more! Miss Anitha has been quite invested in her contentment and development; that my daughter wants to go to school even on holidays! Field trips every other month is a plus! The school is the perfect size for the teachers to give each child individual attention but also large enough for the kids to learn to play and share. The school have surpassed my expectations, and I can happily and enthusiastically recommend their exemplary program for any child between age two and six.

Choosing the right preschool for our twins was a daunting task since we wanted nothing but the best for their first official school. We visited all the well-known preschools in the area but none of them gave us that "this is it" feeling. Our friend recommended Children's House at Holly Hill Montessori and believe me, I had my reservations when I heard it was set up in the teacher's home but I went for a meet and greet anyways. It was the best decision we could have made and all our preconceptions went out the window as soon as we stepped in. Every nook and cranny of the school was a functional space, purposefully designed to cater to the needs of the little ones. And here's the kicker: despite the bustling activity of energetic preschoolers, the school exuded a serene atmosphere that could only be explained by witchcraft. Not a single moment of chaos or tears to be found! However, the true gem of Children's House is none other than the remarkable Ms. Toni. She embodies everything a parent could dream of in a teacher, especially for young children. With her patience, kindness, and genuine care, she creates an environment that feels like a warm hug. Her infectious smile and unwavering passion for teaching are evident in every interaction. We left our twins in her capable hands, knowing they were in the best possible care. Our twins initially struggled with a speech delay, but thanks to Ms. Toni's exceptional skills, they quickly caught up with their peers. She has a remarkable knack for teaching, seamlessly integrating academics with invaluable life and social skills. And as an added bonus, she provides a hot lunch every day, which was incredibly helpful for us as busy parents. Ms. Toni has laid a solid foundation for our twins, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in elementary school. We will forever be grateful for the immeasurable impact she has had on their development. It's without a doubt that she is the best teacher they have encountered on their educational journey thus far. Our only regret is that the pandemic prevented us from staying with her longer. We wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Toni and Children's House at Holly Hill Montessori to any parent seeking a nurturing and enriching preschool experience. She has consistently demonstrated her unwavering dedication to the children's best interests, leaving a lasting mark on their lives. Without a doubt, she receives our highest recommendation, and we would choose her over and over again.
