Little Owlets Academy - early learning center with the focus on the intellectual, moral, social, emotional and physical needs of each child. Our goal is to keep the lights in your children's eyes on at all times and into their adult lives.
When babies are born, their eyes are filled with so much joy, curiosity and bliss - we call that lights! These little beings want to play, please and love. As they mature into toddlers, children, teenagers and then adults - the lights start dimming down as play turns into work, pleasure turns into effort and love turns into hurt.
Our program is based on years of research by family therapists and scientists, who put the biggest focus on keeping the lights on through interactive play, no matter the age. We extend our approach into the families of each child.

We focus on intellectual, moral, social, emotional and physical needs of each child. Our teachers are highly trained professionals who love working with young children and are passionate about the work they do. A big portion of our curriculum is education in different languages and cultures.
History
Established in 2014.
Little Owlets was established in 2014 with the purpose of providing the high quality care, safe and enriching environment. We believe that within the warmth of a home and smaller teacher to child ratio the children have a greater potential to strive emotionally, socially and intellectually. Our teachers have many years of experience working with children of various ages and integrate a Montessori theory in our daily lives.
Meet the Business Owner: Aliya H.
Aliya graduated from the George Washington University with a BA in International Relations and Economics in 2010 . She speaks four languages, is passionate about early childhood development and believes in the value of multi-lingual environment for young children to help them become intelligent and successful individuals. Being a mother of 3 children and having a strong belief in early intellectual stimulation, she chose to take charge of her children's early learning. In January 2014, she opened her first home based early childhood educational center with a bilingual focus. Based on the demand in the area for such valuable approach, in December 2015, she opened her second location. Both location are located in Germantown, MD and serve local families who share similar values.
