As a former employee, I wish I never left. I live to far away to make the commute every day, otherwise I would go back.

Everyone is lovely and remembers my daughter by name even though she is only there 1-2 times a month. Ms. Seemab is especially lovely and always provides such nice feedback about what my daughter learned throughout the day and how she did. I love the daily emailed reports, which include tons of cute videos and pictures. I feel very comfortable and confident that she is in great hands while she's at Chesterbrook.

Shortly after we were warned by someone we met that it's not a good school, they were right. There are many families on grants and financial support (lower income),which we did not mind, though there is no system in place and the preschool lacks leadership and clear guidance from the director and corporate. Teachers don't seem to know when asked questions and do not make any decisions. Often, staff members were on their cell when I came to pickup. It is not Regio or Montessori teaching approach, and from what I've seen the teachers cut and glue the art projects, the children learn by repeating and being indoctrinated with information instead of exploring hands-on and being asked open-ended questions. We were not updated when there were issues that rose, and only found out after the fact that things were handled poorly and without any consent from the parents. This is our third child and I work in education, if you value your child's education and want them to thrive in a supportive, welcoming and communal environment, there are better options out there.

So much that my child spent 4 great years at Owlets and we all cried a bit when we moved out of state and had to leave. I can't say enough about the warm, family-like environment. Teachers and classmates became a second family for my child, and families were really encouraged to get to know each other through events and gatherings. It felt like Owlets was a support system even outside of school hours. We loved the balance between structure and free play and really felt like Little Owlets prepared my daughter very well socially and knowledge-wise for kindergarten - the transition to elementary school was a breeze. My child LOVED the Montessori-inspired activity time and still talks about it. And there were so many creative and fun activities - cooking, yoga....We loved that outdoor time was emphasized in all but the worst weather and the kids got in quality outside play and exercise time. Oh, and the food was so good - I found myself envious of my child's lunches.

Happy to put another CHECK right here! Aliya and Lola are very patient and nurturing. They have plenty of teaching materials and incorporate lessons into play every day. When we moved him it was such a tough decision, because we all love Ms. Lidia and Michelle and they love the children so much. Since his preschool is shut down for the government shutdown (it's on government site) - she has allowed him to come back and it was like going home and we were all comfortable right away. It has allowed us to keep a good routine for him and reconnect with some old friends he was with as a baby, and make new. She has been super professional, accommodating and loving for our family. Her assistant Michelle is amazing as well as they represent a great one-two combo. Having two persons for oversight can only portray better safety measures. I do have to say her pricing is definitely competitive with your commercial and nonprofit day care centers as we have experience with three girls going through different day cares. Lidia, thanks for all you've done for us and continue to be who you are. I really do hope people don't find this review as bogus but more genuine. If anybody was to meet you for the first time and also take tour of your place I would almost guarantee no persons would go to look anywhere else.
