I've never been to this location...and honestly before my daughter I hadn't been to any in decades. But my nephew's bday party so we ventured allllll the waaaaay there (Kaneohe Girl turned Townie). If you have ever been to Kamehameha Shopping Center and/or Kahala Mall locations, you would understand the 5 stars. This place was HUGE (compared to the others). So many games! WOW! ok I must admit... THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I mean the set up, the games, the everything! I would so come back here! They also have a party area that is private and secluded from inside the game room. It's located outside but it does have it closed off from the public. There are also 2 other entrances to this place. It's REALLY REALLY BIG! I'm glad this location is there! For NOW, I'd have to rate it a 5 STAR EVEN IF I have a personal issue with the company. This new location is fairly large, roomy and bright. There's a great mix of games, claw machines, and arcade machines. Pretty much something for all ages. Younger kids will enjoy the claw machines which are set to Play Til You Win. There is a nice variety of prizes available when you are ready to redeem your tickets. Outside they have seating available for parties. Packages are affordable and can accommodate different group sizes. Tip: Get the VIP card as it will save you on the cost of the games. read more

Our family loves going to this Fun Factory. Located at Mililani Town Center so there is tons of parking. It's also nice and spacious and still feels "new". They have a good mix of games for both younger and older kids and I must say I'm pretty impressed with the prize selection as they have Sanrio, Jurassic Park and a lot of other popular items. We've also been here for a few birthday parties and love how you can rent the side patios. A little tight on space but cannot help. Those birthday game cards are sure a hit tho and keep the kids entertained! read more

I've found my new obsession... claw machine games LOL! I've earned my gold card and when you reach that level (after spending $500), then your games are 50% off on Tuesdays only, but don't forget to activate your card with the employees first otherwise you won't get the deal. I don't really play any of the other games, so I only go to the claw machine games. It's always my goal to leave with at least one plushie or prize and most of the times I do! Just FYI, he machines with the squishmallows are super difficult to grab in the machines... so don't spend too much time and money on those ones. read more

It's been years but I guess it's moved from the corner near the movie theater inside town center. I think it's bigger than the old location. Variety of games. 6-4-21 It's been awhile so good thing Razor Sports in Pearlridge closed so we could have a Plan B this morning. When I inquired, a worker told me the tickets are digitalized onto your card when you swipe it and only the game where you keep whacking the disc actually has tickets that come out. Good to know. Both kiddies were given cards by their mom with the stipulation that once it was gone we were leaving. Hubs and I just followed along while the paparazzi in me took photos during our time there. For a toddler, Bud did well on the Ice Man Game that you aim and destroy the characters on the screen with water. He liked the ones you ride on since he's still little. Granted children of all ages come here so some rides were too calm or didn't provide the thrill like the Rat Race ride were you sit and drive through a stabilized somewhat jerky adventure. The Merry Go Round was just too slow and a waste for older kiddies needing more challenge or movement. Skilled players can wrack up points to redeem at the counter. The higher valued trade ins are on the left at 140 points while the lesser priced items could be 30 points. So good to see the patient employee who didn't rush the two kiddies in what items they would use their points on such as invisible ink, maze, rings, gliders and more. Back in the day we'd take our kids and first grandchild to Chuck E. Cheese more than Fun Factory. Just have to remember to wear a mask, and sanitize the hands like everywhere else nowadays. When we first arrived we were one of a few in there but by the time we left, it was pretty busy. Always think of it like a mini Las Vegas for kids. The workers there may be young but they try to keep the place clean I've seen them vacuuming and cleaning the machines. They always refill the stuffies and are nice when you talk to them. Hubby, me, daughter and her two cousins came here to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday. This is the best place to go and play games for the kids. So many games for kids and the kid in the adult. As you enter, there are games lined up and a path that goes to the front desk if you need to purchase a card or reload your card. My daughter was playing a game and it didn't drop the prize she won so I had to grab a guy that works the front and he helped us out. He was very nice. This is located inside the Mililani town center. I was surprised to see this place busy with so many kids. Everyone was having a good time. I come to Fun Factory every so often with family and friends, and I always have a good time. The machines get replaced often, and they recently moved to a bigger location in town center, so now there is a lot of space. I usually spend around 50-100 dollars and I end up getting a lot of tokens when I spend that much. Overall I really enjoy coming here and the Mililani Fun Factory and I think it deserves 5 stars. read more

Pros: Closest arcade Game Center in Central Oahu, fun for a movie + game date night, small area can keep kids contained just so long as you're watching them (duh) + hangout spot for them "gamers", able to host parties. Cons: No bathroom, small selection of games, and you cannot combine points and tickets onto one card! Stuck out of luck for those who constantly accumulate the load of game cards. Ugh, such a pain! Combining tickets is possible but only when picking a prize at the time. Seems like the games are now pricier and the prizes sure aren't worth it. My family loves playing games, I mean who doesn't? The thing I don't enjoy about playing games here is definitely the price. I hate how many businesses have switched or are switching over to a credit (points card) based system. It definitely works in favor of the businesses. Credits are loaded onto reloadable cards and tickets are loaded onto the same card when games are played. All games are different credit amounts and between swiping away and having fun, all the moneys are gone! At least with the old way (physical tokens/tickets) it was something tangible that was easier to keep track of. It is what it is, and that is that. Now that the rant is over, I can move on to some positives. This location for some time now has been holding birthday parties. In the front of the store, next to the entrance they have about 4 tables with benches to host small gatherings. The business is still open to the public so I would not leave anything unattended as all of the items are visible to everyone that passes by. Between food, gifts, goody bags and guests... good luck figuring out where everything goes! Keep the gathering small so you won't have to worry too much about space. Since Fun Factory is only an arcade, they don't offer any food options. You're allowed to bring any outside food and drinks (just no alcohol). Every year, around my children's birthdays, we normally invite a couple of their friends out with our family to do something fun. In 2018, we had a small combined party for my oldest and youngest children with no more than 10 of their friends. It honestly was our first "party" since my oldest son's 1st birthday bash so I am definitely rusty at the whole "party" thang. I am not a fan of putting out a bunch of $$ so that other people can enjoy entertainment at my expense lol. This was an exception. At that time, the unlimited play for 2 hours was $15 a person, with a minimum of 10 people. Now I see it has gone up to about $17+. The unlimited play is meant for rides and shooting games that do not pay out tickets. There was a small amount of credits loaded onto the card to play "pay out" games but I can't quite remember exactly how much. It was a decent amount, enough for each child to win something. The game play on the card has a time limit so I made sure everyone ate first, then played. For our small gathering it was definitely not cheap, but for what we spent, everyone was able to thoroughly enjoy themselves. We didn't have to break the bank with this one, but I'd rather stick to our usual, more intimate family outings that way we can spend more for quality instead of quantity. We will definitely continue to frequent this Fun Factory since it's very close to where we live. The store itself is well kept and the games have a good rotation of being updated. Be prepared to come out ya pockets tho, or face highly disappointed kiddos! read more

Really go to Panda? You been to one Fun Factory you've been to them all. The layout is way similar with some exceptions. First on a way positive note, this place is clean. I didn't see any rips or stains on the carpet, no trash laying on the floor, the games didn't have any weird sticky feel, and 99.9% of the games worked. I know, how shocking?!?!? Second point is you can buy a party pack and get seated in the front. All the other Fun Factories either seated you in the back or just didn't have a party offer. You can also win ice cream snacks. However all prizes must be eaten outside. Third and most disappointing thing is this place has no restroom. I was told the closet one is Panda Express. Since this place is in a mall, I went to the food court area about 100 yards away from the place. Plain and simple, don't say go to another business to finish your business. As for the games; bright lights, a lot of noise, and modern. No old school pinball machines or Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Dig Dug, Spy Racer, Tron, or other cool games from my generation. Overall three stars. Place is smaller compared to the other Factories but well keep. I just wish they had a bathroom handy if your going to cater a party. What can I say about Fun Factory? Being in here certainly makes me feel young again lol. Place is decently sized, maybe just a bit smaller then the Til in Pearlridge. Price is expensive but on point with the any other game arcade place on Oahu. They have a ton of claw machines and I actually won a stuff animal from the machine. But then the claw caught it on the strap! Just gave an employee my stunned jaw drop look and he ran over and got it or for me. Nice service lol. Can be a bit crowded, especially during after school time and on weekends. But still worth it, especially if you want to kill time. Just be careful with your cards. I once lost my card, bought a new one, and then found the old one. Turns out you cannot consolidate cards at Fun Factory. You can at Tilt but not here. Just make sure you don't lose it lol. Oh and the prizes here are pretty good, not all the time in the claw machine but the redeemable ones. They even have practical stuff. I walked out of there with an iron lol. read more

I am so dissapointed. Come here all the time with my kids. Spent a lot of money and this particular visit I spent $120. We played the claw game and my son really wanted a stuffed toy. We played 20 times and couldn't get it. He was so sad so I asked the worker if we could turn in all our 1400 tickets just to get a small stuffed toy and he was so rude about it. He said no can do. Manufactured Fun Yeah I said it. Located in the Mililani Town Shopping Center, (the one with the clock) thats the way we used to refer to it and still do for some odd reason, Fun Factory is just next to the movie theater. This attraction features arcade machines, claw machines, basketball games, skee ball (wow its been awhile since Ive had to pull that out of my vocabulary), merry go round, stationary rocking rides, that table thing where you slide that disc back and forth, and many more calamorous amusement anemities. Regulars and workers can correct me if Im wrong but I think you can pretty much divvy up this place into 3 slices. Theres the games that you can win instant prizes like stuff animals, then theres games that you can win ticket credits, which can be accumalated over multiple visits for redemption in the back of the store, and choose from a variety of prizes, and then there are games where you just play them for fun but you don't really get tickets. Overall the facility is clean and safe, service is fairly helpful, and the probability of winning can range from not too bad to "abysmally rigged." Good thing the workers can sympathize with this, ask them and they can do prize exhanges or round off your ticket credits if you are shy a few in total, to redeem for prizes. They understand. I've found the best time to go is when they just open and the prizes in machines have just been restocked as the probabilty of winning instantly rises as prizes are loosely primed for the picking. The worst time to go is just after school gets out and there are too many big kids just hanging out inside or conspicuously smooching in a dark area or inside a game machine. I remember back in the day 10 dollars would go a long way here and set you up for hours of fun, especially the arcade games which you can stretch and go on forever if you are really good at it. Those days are long gone, everything now is all about time and money. I wince a little when I realize this place has siphoned $40-$60 from me in under 30 minutes, but then again its all in the way you choose to spend your credits and how quickly you repeat addiction attempts to win. I get it, this is a business, they need to make their money somehow as most kids today can instead get their video game and entertainment stimulation in the comfort of their own homes or mobile devices. So why even come here? Physical hand eye coordination? Physical rewards? Social Fun? Those things are needed for kids and can be exclusively be provided, however, this place conveniently packages them all under one roof. The prizes aren't that great, and you can probably get more or better for cheaper by going to a store. Is it worth it? I think my idea of this place being "Manufactured Fun" instead of Fun Factory sums it up. Instead of going to this place to have fun like when we used to be kids, its now situation where we create the fun and entertainment dependent on the amount we want and end up paying. Forget the prizes, we come here to create happy and fun memories right? That enough in that sense makes it worth it. In the end though, its all about the kids, do they still get fun and satisfaction out of it? My answer is yes, they do, and as much as I'm content to admit and pay for it,(and I suppose since im not in the role of being the kid anymore lol) we still need these places. Again, just remember, it is all about and for the kids. The one common denominator thats left between my shallow and evolved perspective of "Manufactured Fun" and the kids version and experience of "Fun Factory" is "Fun." read more

We had my daughter's 4th bday party here. Perks- didn't require a deposit, they didn't bother us during the party, and the kids ran around and had a great time! I think the value verses dollar is very fair. The party cards$15 each for 90 min is best for 2-5 yr olds and 11-14 yr olds and the reason is because the games are limited for this offer. Mostly kiddy rides and fighting video games are included (only 20 universal games) I'd do it again though! Hint- make sure you bring your own, paper towels, and trash bags(glad I did), we had to take our own trash etc. read more

Took my daughter to Fun Factory today, it's been a while since I've been here. I took my daughter to play some games while we wait for a movie. Fun Factory is the one place where we all can have fun. It's such joy when I see her walking and have no idea which game she wants play first. She jumps from one game to the next, but she always has fun playing. She's accumulated so much to tickets and haven't spent them or redeem them yet I don't know what she's waiting for but looks like she wants something big. In my high school days this is where my allowance would be spent on. Mostly on the DDR machine and also the Beatmania machine. I even became a gold card member for spending $500 dollars in playing games throughout my four years in high school. I remember they had times where "Super Sundays" take place. It's where you get half off games on Sundays. It was a gamer's dream and can become pretty crazy. Now, as an adult, I hardly come here and when I do I am just shocked at how much things changed and how much things cost. A lot of the games have rose up in about 7 years ago. It's a great place to just relieve stress when having a bad day. If your looking to get tickets and such I would suggest going Dave & Busters on half off Wednesdays. Came here two weekends in a row for two different birthday parties. The first birthday party was for my 10 year-old son's classmate's birthday party. I dropped him off and picked him up 3 hours later. He had a lot of fun. The second time we came was for my 8 year-old daughter's classmate's birthday party. This one was not a drop off and I stayed the whole 3 hrs. Although, I enjoyed getting to know the other parents, 3 hours at this place was too overwhelming. There was too much noise stimulation that when I got home I had a pounding headache and my throat hurt from all the yelling I had to do in order to conduct a conversation at this extremely loud place. Also, if you are thinking about having a birthday party here, you might want to consider the age and gender of your child. The passes that come with the birthday party is good for 20 swipes for games that are coded green or purple, and unlimited swipes for games that are rainbow for approx. 2 hours. While that sounds like a great deal, about 90% of the games are green or purple and only 10% is rainbow. The rainbow games are mostly arcade style video games while the green and purple games are the ones where you can win prizes or tickets, which you can exchange for cheap prizes. My son and his friends took advantage of the unlimited video games but my daughter and her friends went through their 20 swipes very quickly then exchanged their tickets for prizes and pretty much just played with their prices the rest of the time. I felt like the unlimited video games were wasted on the younger crowd. The kids all had fun, but as a frugal parent, I felt like the unlimited game play wasn't really worth it for the younger kids. I'm not sure what packages they sell for birthday parties but I just wanted other parents to know what I thought in case they are deciding whether or not they should hold their children's birthday party here. I love the location of this fun factory, makes for a real easy close place to take my daughter when I want to treat her to a day out for fun, since we live so close. Its usually always clean which is nice, staff are all super young and whatever lol they aren't mean or rude but their customer service abilities aren't anything special. Even tho my daughter loves this place so much im gunna give it two stars because shes only two years old and she pretty much likes anything with lights and music. so, this fun factory is kind of really small, they have maybe two claw games that are actually easy-ish to win prizes and all the rest are impossible to win. they only have three rides for toddlers and two out of the three are cars that look the same.. unlike the pearlridge fun factory that has a whole section dedicated to little toddler rides. Its very squishy and you cant stroll around even a normal pop up stroller without hitting someone or just getting frustrated with the room, and forget it if its the weekend or if they are hosting some kind of weird kendama or magic card event lol no room what-so-ever. But my daughter still loves it for its three baby rides so as long as shes happy im happy! lol. But the pearlridge location is definitely way better. read more

Located in the Mililani Town Center next to Consolidated Theaters. My nieces LOVE coming here. As an adult I'm pretty boring and don't find wasting money on games to be "fun" persay... but hey for the kiddies... now that's a different story! They really like the air hockey game and the merry go round... they play the ducks game and the alligator game and a slew of other games. This location is fairly small and some of the games are close together. They have shooting games, racing games, dancing, fighting, etc etc. Games for all ages basically. Staff have been okay. The selection of "prizes" to redeem with your "tickets" isn't that big and of course it's ridiculous how many "tickets" you need to get a prize you could get at Walmart for $5 (using 3982 tickets costing you $75!) It's pretty squishy in here and there isn't too much of a selection of games, but my son LOVESSSS this place. I work every Friday night, and every Friday night is my husband and son's "date night." So where is the typical man date night? Yes, FUN FACTORY. Reviewing as a parent, this place does the trick in keeping my kid occupied and happy, so it's all good in my (and my husband's) book! Had some time to kill before a movie so we opted to shoot some hoops here since it was right next door. They had a deal where $5 gets you 16 tokens and we asked the employee how much hoops were and he stated 4 tokens. We got this deal, played a game each then my fiance swiped for his second game and I then swiped for mine and it didn't work. I waited by the counter for a good portion of time, hollering for some assistance and the employees nowhere to be found. When he finally surfaced he stated that for the "standard" card, which we purchased, it cost 4.4 tokens per game, leaving us short for my final game. Went to windward mall and Mililani branch. Spent about 45 minutes at each branch. During that time, I did not see any employee attempt to clean and disinfect the machines. It's very alarming since most customers are kids and fun factory is enclosed. Now, it could be just bad timing on my part but I feel cleaning should be constantly done. Yes, there was a hand sanitizer on their counter, however, that is not nearly enough too protect customers during our pandemic times. read more
