The day before my event, I received another call to verify the delivery time & pick up time, as well as the delivery address. I am so impressed with their due diligence!!! During the party, we had some electrical issues with the bounce house, so I contacted the delivery man & he had Latoya follow up with me. She arrived & corrected the problem in no time. What's more valuable than a satisfied customer? ...Apparently a snow cone machine…read more Literally, in the last 10 minutes All Smiles Events customer service went from a 5 to a 1. Steven and his helper did a great job building the tents, and worked with a limited space to get the job done. My son's party turned out beautifully with the exception of one hitch, the snow machine didn't work. No biggie. When the party supplies were delivered and installed, Steven forgot the snow cone machine on the truck and we didn't even notice or care when he brought it back. It was included in the package so we took it. I wish he would've left it on the truck! The snow machine power button fell off as soon as we touched it and so we never used it. When they came to pick up the equipment, we mentioned it to him. I even said, "Don't worry about a refund, it's fine." Instead, he charged us $180 for a broken button on a snow cone machine!!! He cited the contract which states that all broken items must be replaced at full retail price. He said that we should've called the day of the event and if he couldn't replace it then, he would refund us the charge for the snow cone machine. I repeat, he wanted me to call him, during the party, while I was hosting and most importantly enjoying my son's smiling face during his big day. I'm sorry, Steven. I did care to time out of my son's birthday party to talk to you about a broken snow cone machine nobody wanted to use. Every company has the opportunity to be truly worth a damn. To earn their references and recommendations and build their reputation. Steven had that moment and chose to charge us an arbitrary amount (which he admitted to) that we had to take our if our son's birthday money stash. We provided him back with his opened bottles of syrups and 50 paper cups to prove to him that it wasn't ever used. He didn't care. He wanted his money. For all I know, they deliver broken snow cone machines for a living. If you do choose to use this party rental company, please have them test it in your home. Have them touch every single button and flip every single switch. While they might have better prices when compared to other companies, cheap things turn out to costly in the end.
