I spoke with Debbie (Past owner) Explained we could not work under these conditions. She assigned Kellie to the job and service was great. She was reliable until recently. The Friday morning schedule moved to sometime Saturday. She always sent proof of having serviced the pool. This month has not been good. No proof of service. We have not seen her for the past 3 weeks. Just tried calling the 213-4555 number and receive a busy signal. Unable to contact anyone for information. This is the only reason for this review. We are concerned if Kellie is well and healthy. JOE H.

It was fully extended with the metal pushed back. I let our two year-old cat out that's never been outside the lanai and within minutes she was gone. The only reason I noticed is because I let my dog out in our fenced in yard and all of a sudden the dog was looking at me in the lanai through the slides, my heart sank and I and that's when I opened the other door to get out to our pool and that the screen was wide open Devastated and sad

I was given 99 cents in change, and I politely asked if he could either give me the full dollar or let me give him the penny back. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he was rude and disrespectful to me. What bothered me wasn't the penny--it was the way I was treated. He has always been nice to me in the past, which is why I was surprised by his attitude today. When I later returned to pick up my chlorine, he continued to be disrespectful toward me. I understand that a penny is a small amount, but I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect. I left feeling disappointed by the interaction and wanted to make you aware of it.

Hydra Pool Service is an outstanding pool maintenance provider!…read more For several years we used Barb's Pool Service for our pool maintenance and were quite satisfied. When Barb retired, her company was apparently acquired by Howard's Pool World. Unfortunately, they have a strict policy of servicing a pool only below the water line. When some worrisome black mold appeared on the underside of the coping tiles around our pool's edge, they absolutely refused to remove or treat it. That's when and why we began searching for a new pool maintenance company. Fortunately, we found Hydra Pool Service, a small but growing company. Hydra not only agreed to maintain our entire pool, they sent TWO of their technicians out that SAME DAY to remove the worrisome mold and clean the entire pool! Our great grandchildren use our pool frequently and our granddaughter reports that our pool is now remarkably clean with clear, sparkling water! Such excellent results from a truly customer-oriented company also came with a slightly lower monthly rate! We can confidently recommend Hydra Pool Service to anyone in Punta Gorda or the surrounding area!
