I worked with Clayton Hines and he showed the utmost professionalism and dedication to help me find my apartment. Even when we discovered last minute that an application required us to tour in-person, he met me at the unit within 20 minutes. That's how I was able to secure an affordable studio within my desired price range and neighborhood. I'm very grateful for all his help and would strongly recommend his services! read more

Absolute joke of a rental company. When my roommate and I moved into our unit it was nowhere near the move in ready they claimed it would be. we had to start putting requests in immediately for repairs. Later on in our lease the building was broken into and we didn't have a working front door for almost 3 weeks. They go the cheapest route possible for repairs and when the fix doesn't work they try to place blame on the tenants. They proudly represent Slumlords and with the way the market is going probably won't be around much longer, save yourself the trouble and find any other rental company. read more

We worked with Khenjosh at Fulton Grace. He helped us find a rental. The rental market is crazy right now and he did an amazing job as helping us navigate it. I was super stressed through the entire process because of all of the bidding wars and how fast units were being be picked up but Khenjosh provided so much reassurance that it kept my stress at ease. We tried working with a couple other realtors from other companies and Khenjosh was the most responsive and helpful by FAR! Truly impressive. We found a place we are so happy with. He was able to keep us in our preferred neighborhood, price range, square footage, and style. Highly recommend! read more

Anamarie was my realtor. I loved her! every apartment I wanted to see she was very diligent and got me an appointment the day of and the next day. She's organized and was quick with her replies. Never felt ignored and she always updated me. Her advice was spot on and I ended up getting my first apartment that met all my expectations. If I ever need to move again I hope she's still available. Fulton grace also has a wide range of apartments to see on their website so I didn't need to find any of their apartments through a third party website. Try them definitely! read more

I worked with Maggie and she was great! Actually listened to what I was saying and found a place for me quickly that I ended up signing!

For 2 days now, I've had 2 different "agents" reach out to me. They ask for my credit score and other personal questions. All this b4 engaging me on what I'm searching for. Today I reached out at 9am. Then I called at 2pm. Agent Jake said he or an associate would reach out in 20-30 mins. At 6pm I texted him for any schedule update or interview. Still waiting. I decided to look on Yelp for any reviews & boy did I find them. Thanks anyway, (Jake from State Farm read more

Brainless people. I was denied an apartment rental because of a negative report from that Rent Grow Outfit. The rental agent, Fulton Grace Realty in Chicago, accepted it mindlessly, without even asking me for an explanation. There was one item, a disputed fraudulent amount from a prior landlord that had bought out the apartment complex after I had lived there 13 years, paying on time every month. I had lived many decades in previous apartments, likewise paying every month on time. Later, I found out that the onsite property manager had a criminal record with the Cook County Court. Even found her mugshot. I contacted Rent Grow, got a copy of the report and disputed it. They removed the disputed item. Then ... SURPRISE! I received an email from Fulton Grace wanting to do business with me. I was, of course, done with them. At least for me, it all worked out because I found another apartment for less money that met my needs better. Thanks to Fulton Grace and Rent Grow, the property owner lost out on a reliable tenant. read more

This team was able to help me find a place to rent very very quickly in the Chicagoland area. It fits well within my budget and I'm super happy with the apartment. My agent was Hugo Lopez and he was outstanding. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is new to the area and he is very reliable, excellent communication and truly outstanding. read more

I am a brand new tenant with Fulton Grace. Reading through the comments I see that multiple people have had the same experience, which is disheartening. I was not permitted to move in any earlier than April 1 because they needed to "turn over" the unit. My roommate and I paid a $1,500 move in fee, which went toward a hasty patch up job, no repainting at all, and with plaster damage that was not repaired prior to move in. the carpeting was not cleaned at all, activating severe allergies since the prior tenants had dogs. Our team has told us they are "working on it" with no clear timeline. We were told the unit was "move in ready" and prior to signing our lease were ensured it would get a full turn over and cleaning ( verbal-- SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN IN WRITING). Management has been dismissive and passive about making and change requests, we still have not received mailbox keys, and were told our requests were unreasonable and borderline rude. reviewing our lease I say we signed to basically move into the premises as is, so my heartfelt advice is to READ CAREFULLY and request more maintenance and cleaning in writing before signing anything with them. read more

Fulton Grace is an amazing company! The property management department is top notch! The property managers are very responsive to both owners and tenant, and they are very attentive to needs of the apartments that they manage. There are also some fantastic real estate agents who are knowledgeable of the market. They are a great choice for assistance with either selling or buying a property! Highly recommend them for all your real estate needs! read more

Russell, Eric and Troy are amazing. I'm involved in constant battle with JHM properties who owns my condo that Fulton Grace helps me manage and they have been so useful and helpful in trying to reach JHM to help fix an ongoing issue. They make me feel taken care of and like they actually manage my property. Can't say enough good things. This battle with JHM is exhausting and Russell has been keeping up with them and trying to help despite being basically stonewalled by JHM. Thank you again guys! Go with Fulton Grace and the 3 managers especially! read more

I worked with Fulton Grace to find an apartment in Chicago and was disappointed by the overall experience. They're just about the money. The agents are not trained consistently and their quality of work varies wildly. Each agent acts as a lone wolf and they compete with each other for business. read more

Don't respond to inquiries, at all. I reached out multiple times about a house and simply never heard back.

I've contacted multiple people at this agency and they all leave you hanging or stop responding. I tried scheduling a viewing with multiple agents for multiple locations and could never get anyone to follow through. absolutely horrible! read more

I worked with Jenn Saigh for about 6 weeks at the end of the summer to find an apartment in S Loop. It was a wild time in a funky market with lots of showings, a few listing agents that went MIA on us. Jenn was extremely responsive the entire time, and would send me new listings as soon as they hit. I was also listing my own property as my first rental, and Jenn shared some great tips with me even thought I didn't hire her to find the tenants. I'm SO happy I found Jenn and will definitely continue working with her & referring her to everyone I know! read more

Such a strange experience. Worked with Daniel P. Showed up to the apartment address only for him to tell me that in so many words "Actually, the unit is across the street, I just don't like giving out the real address. By the way, the unit that you were interested in, JUST got rented out." Okay, fine. We proceeded to look at the other units in that particular building. I ultimately decided that it wasn't what I was looking for esp. since it looked different in person than the online listing. Then, he proceeded to tell me that what I was looking for in the areas I was interested in, was not possible/within my budget and tried to sell me on a place in a neighborhood that I wasn't interested in living in. Based on his overall demeanor (a little shady), I decided to google his full name and looked at reviews from a previous real estate company that he worked with - definitely not surprised that some of the most bizarre reviews had his name attached to it. Ceased communication with him. I get it - it's a business, but as a prospective renter - remember it's not your problem to help them make a sale. Be firm, know what you want, and don't be afraid to stop working with an agent that you're not clicking with. If you have time, there are apartments popping up everyday on other sites which you can contact directly. You're probably better off. I've been able to find a place on my own that fits my needs in my area. read more

I inquired about an apartment on apartments dot com and was contacted by Josh Stein . He asked if I had any questions about the property. I asked if they accepted a certain program. A few hours go by and I text him again to touch bases with him only to see I've been blocked. Josh Stein definitely came off the wrong way and didn't want to help me find an apartment even after he contacted me. Josh Stein comes off very discriminatory and if he's like this there's no telling how the others are. I'll stay away from this realty service and the property at the Des Plaines Tower on Lee St since my kind clearly aren't welcome. Since my comment was removed as a real estate agent name and listings are public information. read more

Our agent Maggie was the most responsive agent I've ever worked with. She worked around mine and my roommates busy schedules and went to take videos of the properties if we couldn't attend in person. I would recommend Maggie if you are looking for a place in the city and would gladly work with her again! read more

Updating my review based on my interaction with the owner, TJ. He responded below to my review, but also sent me a personal message and made time to talk to me on the phone. He addressed my concerns and immediately acted on them to ensure they don't happen again. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how they're handled after the fact that makes all the difference. This is my second time working with Erinn Hutkin of Fulton Grace Realty and I can't say enough about how much she has helped me. I recently was looking for a one bedroom apartment in downtown Chicago on a time crunch and she was SO professional and friendly, helping me with any questions and finding potential units to visit. She took me to SIX different places in a day and I managed to find my dream apartment with her help. I highly recommend Erinn to anyone looking for a home or apartment in Chicago and will definitely be contacting her if I need to move again! read more

Naji rashid. Was extremely rude. Hung up on me in the middle of the call. I requested to see a property in the neighborhood. She said she knows properties in the area. But was not able to mention any. She wants me to sign a 6 month contract with her and i dont even know her. read more

I have been working with Aaron Nowak for several months. He is very responsive and paid attention to my very particular apartment criteria. I had an unfortunate experience with Fulton Grace a couple of years ago. I wrote an unfavorable review. The owner contacted me with an apology and a refund and asked my to edit my review, which I did because I felt he was sincere and was trying accept responsibility. I rented an apartment I viewed as a temporary dwelling and continued to search for apartments. Each time I answered an ad for an apartment from Fulton Grace, I would be ghosted after providing my name. Clearly, they blacklisted me. I view this as a bad business practice. Instead of trying to repair a customer relationship, they blacklist and ghost clients. It speaks to the integrity of the business. I think everyone should understand these tactics when working with a real estate company. Word to the wise. read more

Stay Away!!!! I have been renting with Fulton Grace for almost 4 years now. Not one late payment, and barely even contacted them for anything. In the 4 years I don't know one person that I was in contact with when i moved in. Because I haven't had any issues I didn't even know who to contact when I had a maintenance request. When I tried to reach out I got very snarky responses back, very rude customer service. But the worst of it, they are dishonest. They agreed to let me have a month to month lease and now when I want to get out of it (only 2 months early) they are going back on their word. I got a almost threatening email stating they would highly recommend I sign a bulls**t termination agreement that charges me. (which they promised they wouldn't) This people are dishonest and rude! read more

Great experience with this property management company. I rented for several years in Chicago and did not have the same experience with other companies. When it comes to renting, approach with caution and ask them to clearly lay out the move-in fees before signing. I was recently slapped with an $800 move in fee in totality. Cost break down below: To the building management: -$200 move-in fee -$200 refundable move-in deposit (Understandable - reserving the elevator for the day, etc) To Fulton Grace Realty: -$400 move-in fee I've never seen fees this high and it's not understood or explained why Fulton Grace's fees come into play whatsoever. Unless they're physically carrying my boxes it's unclear what I'm paying for. Now I'm not able to even afford movers at all. Feeling robbed :( read more

My girlfriend and I worked with Fulton Grace to find our new apartment. They were fast, friendly, and responsive. We had a good experience working with their agents. Fulton Grace was also VERY helpful in resolving a landlord issue with our current management company, Domus Group (https://www.domusgroupllc.com/). We had a dirty & damaged apartment on moving day (this was on Domus Group to fix), and Fulton Grace's team helped guide us on what steps my girlfriend and I should take to protect ourselves and get things fixed. They even hopped on the phone with me to make sure we were ok. Overall, I highly recommend working with Fulton Grace. Just make sure to avoid any properties managed by the Domus Group that they may be showing. Ask a ton of questions and avoid getting into a situation like I did that involves you having to spend weeks cleaning up the mess of your landlord. I repeat, do not sign a lease with any Domus Group managed properties! Fulton Grace has tons more to offer from other respectable management companies that they would be happy to show you. read more

Very helpful, actively looked for us. Found us an apartment quickly. Answered our questions quickly, very knowledgeable.

I've contacted Fulton Grace on 11/3/2020 to use their service to find a tenant for my 2bed/2bath rental condo unit. My agent got switched to Samantha Garcia on 11/13/2020. From there, I've worked closely with Samantha. We received an application on 12/15/2020 and got a lease signed. Samantha was very helpful in providing the next steps and is insightful on the legal process. Upon request, she provided me viewings and showings over the course of the time with her recommendation of setting a marketable price compared to similar units. She gave me her personal cell which made communication very smooth. Despite being off from Dec 23-27 for the holiday season, she responded to my email during her time off. I've always had a good experience working with Fulton Grace and Samantha is excellent! read more

Came across this agency via one of the online rental search sites. Sent an inquiry for a property and got a response quickly from one of their agents Jason Grede. So far so good. Unfortunately the unit I was interested in got rented out but Jason got in touch with me right away and let me know that and asked me if I'd be interested in other options. After responding yes, I got a series of questions to help narrow down the search which I didn't mind. I'm sure it helps eliminating the properties we'd not be interested in. Sent that email two days ago. Never heard back. Send a follow up email yesterday. Haven't heard back yet. Would not rely on a company like this that doesn't have basic communication skills. read more
