They looked at bracelet and said yes they could indeed do the repair. Called three days later and said not willing to do the repair it MIGHT mess up their plating solution. That is a decision that could, and should, have been made when they checked the bracelet out during drop off. Now I'm out of time to find someone who actually knows what they are doing and can make the repair in time for me to give the repaired bracelet back To my wife as a gift. I decided to take about 12 different items and some of that was my THAI BAHT 23K gold. I regret not doing more due diligence before dealing with Joe, who told me my TBG was merely 21K, bull-honkey! Was in a desperate situation, should've had my duckies in a row. I've used Fuller's jewelry for many years. They have replaced batteries in my Cartier Tank watch and a Bulova gold/diamond watch. They have also repaired numerous pieces of jewelry including my grandmother's 1950's matching silver earrings, bracelet and necklace. I had earrings that I bought at Neiman's Marcus in the 1980's that my daughter's best friend wanted to wear for her wedding. (Something borrowed) My daughter had them replated in gold for the occasion. It's been six years and now my daughter wants to wear them for her wedding day. I have used Fullers for the past 5 years. They have sized my wedding rings up and down twice during pregnancies and cleaned my Tag watch. The last time I had my ring sized down, the intricate design on the sides of my stone were melted and deformed when I came to pick it up. I was shocked when I asked them about it and they didn't seem too concerned. They said they would fix it but since there was no picture of what it originally looked like, they guessed. It was not accurate. I was very upset and didn't know what to do. They didn't offer another solution. When a prong broke off shortly thereafter, I went back to have them fix it, thinking it was related to the solder incident. They said it wasn't and my ring was just built wrong and that's why it broke. (I've had my ring for 12 years and never had an issue with a prong until they melted them.) They said they would redo the prongs for $900. No thank you. I went to three other certified gemologists and established jewelers in DFW. They all said the solder Fullers used was way too hot or the wrong solder all together, and they damaged the ring beyond repair. The prongs had been melted to the center stone and the ring would have to be rebuilt. I was (and still am) furious. I will not recommend Fullers nor will I return. I'm currently having Gem Classics of Addison rebuild my ring. I'll write a review once we're through the process. So far I'm very impressed. read more

I am thankful for Fuller's that they cleaned such an important piece. However, I come in today (I don't live close by) and I was completely embarrassed. The lady who works in the front did not even look at my necklace for 5 seconds and told me she couldn't clean it and thank you. I went there because of their reviews. I went to sell a ring not purchase. The male who looked at my ring offered me $200 for a ring I paid $1,300 for and is less then a year old. He was rude and demeaning. When I asked why there was such a difference in what another jeweler offered and Fuller's he was condescending and had no real answer simply handed my ring back and pointed to the door. Out of curiosity I went to a pawn store and was offered over $500 for the same ring. They may have good ratings for selling you their 100% mark up gems but are demeaning, and rip off artists if you want to sell something. What they need to realize is good customer service is on all services offered. They would of made profit on my ring but they were basically asking me to practically give it to them. I will NEVER go there to buy and I am an avid jewelry collector. I have never walked out of a place feeling so demeaned. Bad attitude and ignorant experience. read more

I liked that they have been around for a long time and like to give my business to local companies. My watches need special care and I was not disappointed. The only issue is that I found not one but two pairs of earring in their estate cases! It was so easy to put one pair on layaway. I just got back from this place just now, from reading the review on yelp by jennifer r, and was pleasantly surprised how cool they are over there. Its a Saturday afternoon, I walk in, someone greets me immediately and helps me with what I need asap. I let her know I just came in for a watch battery swap out, and she was very quick and friendly in taking it to the back to get it fixed. It was done in like 5-10 minutes, FAST, and it was very affordable, I paid like 10.80$ total. Way WAY WAYYYYYYYYYY better than that crappy little watch shop in the Valley View mall (That took a hr + to fix watches and charged like 30$.. What a bunch of CRAP). After spending the money to get my Big Boy watch, I realized I didn't have the stomach to throw down more money at an authorized dealer for Big Boy accessories and services. So I returned to the kiddie pool and sourced myself an aftermarket strap on eBay. And on Yelp, I found Fuller's to switch out my watch bands. The on-site horologist (Glen) takes a look at my watch, switches out the bands, and then comments on the impressive movement in my watch...this Glen is either a suave businessman or he just has an impeccable taste in watches =) I then asked him how much I owe, and Glen tells me it's free. Sold an old ring set at Fullers and overall it was an easy transaction. What surprised me was that the gold in the rings was worth more than the 1 ct total weight of diamonds. The buyer advised me that they have been buying diamonds from the public for the last six years and currently have a stockpile. This is a bummer if you are looking to sell but should mean that you can get a killer deal in buying any diamonds here in the near future. Looked around and they have beautiful estate pieces but most of the jewelry seemed geared towards an older/more traditional crowd. He scored BIG TIME today with my Valentine's gift. Fuller's has lots of gorgeous jewelry, but the intriguing part of the store is the estate sale section. There are some unique pieces, and not junk jewelry like you often find in antique stores. The stunning piece that caught Sugar Bear's eye is a white gold, pink ruby (didn't know they existed before today) and diamond double banded ring. One end of the band has a cat's head (it is not facing up, so at first glance it appears to be a snake). I love kitties, so this was the PERFECT ring for me. Since it is a vintage piece, I'm unlikely to see it on anyone else's hand. I'm a lucky girl! Anyhoo, I've been taking jewelry to Fuller's since 1994 for repair. Many watch batteries and bands have been replaced. They recently installed a new movement in my Milieris watch. It is as good as new! They have also sized many of my rings down, everything from gold to platinum. I lost a bunch of weight, so none of my rings fit. I was very pleased with the work. The folks at Fuller's treat you like a millionaire whether you are making a $25 dollar watch band purchase or dropping some serious change on bling. I went to this place after reading fellow Yelpers' review, but I was LARGELY disappointed. I needed to change my watch battery and needed to replace a stone that was missing from my necklace. The first impression was very nice; professional looking store with brightly lit shelves. However their collections were not very impressive and the clerks were very snobbish; I had trouble taking off my ring that I wanted them to clean and I had to use some lotion to help it come off. The clerk handled my ring as if it was full of germs and did not want to touch it without the tissue on her hand. When I brought it to the store where I bought my watch, they informed me that I had an option of sending it to Omega to get the battery changed or having their watchman do it. Fuller's clerk not only not informed me of such options, but she just gave my watch to their watchman without giving me any quote or letting me know that she was taking it to him. When she took my watch, she clearly told me that she would ask their watchmen about changing the battery not that she would have him change the battery. My necklace, ugh.. First she told me that the missing stone must be imitation of something. Then after she consulted with their jewelry specialist she said it would cost too much to get the stone ordered and shape it to fit in the slot. "I don't know what kind of sentimental value it has, but it will cost you hundreds of dollars." How can it be imitation of something AND cost me hundreds of dollars? Well, let me tell you, my MI jeweler told me it was emerald and quoted me very reasonable amount to fix it. I just thought I would fix it in the local store and I regretted my decision so much today. After she cleaned my ring, she said she would check the prongs. First of all, I did not want her to check the prongs as my impression of the store was tarnished at this point, but she did not give me an option to say no. She looked at my ring, then started pressing the prongs with her finger nails! Well, the platinum prongs won't get more secure by her pressing them with her finger nails. A clerk in the jewelry store should know the difference between soft gold and hard platinum, don't you think? read more

My main experience with this store was at the repair department or a watch battery replacement. Glenn is the MAN! Other places will charge you at least 20 dollars (and up to $40) to simply replace your watch battery. Don't get me wrong, they probably offer 5 year warranties and other bells and whistles. This place will charge about $10 (plus tax) for the job and they also guarantee their work for 1 year (free). Fuller's Jewelry store is upscale without being pretentious. I walked in there with jeans and a hoodie and Glenn still treated me with respect - he was eager to help me. I have an imitation watch that I received as a gift, and I was pretty embarrassed to step foot into such a nice store where someone greets you and you can get bottles of champagne to sip on while you browse the jewelery. I was having none of that. I walked in and five minutes later, Glenn had my watch ticking. I observed him being warm and friendly to other customers while they were waiting. I have never met someone so eager to help! This review extends out to the rest of the store. Despite my appearance (scrawny asian guy with messy hair), the hostess was attentive and made sure I was being helped. One more note that added icing to the whole cake of an experience: I had my gf's fashion-wear neckless that was broken and Glenn was willing to take a look at it at no extra charge. One day when I'm making my big doctor money, I'll definitely return here looking like a scrawny asian guy with messy hair and know that I will still be treated fantastically. I read a few good reviews about Fuller's and they are not far from my work so I went yesterday on my lunch break. With total, un-arrogant, confidence the staff took my watch and removed the links. Not a scratch on the watch and such wonderful, kind customer service. Another major plus is that the store is so clean. I was in and out in ten minutes. Amazing customer service!! I called in a panic today because over the weekend I managed to bend the bottom of my engagement ring while moving and lifting heavy boxes. I spoke with Mr. Raspberry on the phone, who welcomed me to come into the store so he could see about fixing it. I rushed over after work and got there around 5:15. Mr. Raspberry came out and got to work on my bent ring and had it reshaped and polished and good as new in about 15 minutes. The whole store was full of friendly faces and knowledgeable employees. I highly recommend you not to waist your time with this establishment. I made the mistake of going to this jewelry store for my fiancés engagement ring based off of good reviews and comparing to others. I'm writing this review so you don't suffer the same fate. Long story short, the original ring they gave me was not the right size. My fiancé and I went back after the proposal to make changes and size the ring. We then get the new ring back the following week and it is too large so we have them resize it to 5 1/4. Not too much of a problem, these things happen. We return the following week to pick up the ring. Once we get into the car I realized not only does the ring have an odd bend in it but a blue sapphire is completely missing. We go back into the store and they have now idea what we are talking about and are beyond rude. Thankfully the owner comes out and says there was supposed to be a sapphire there. They find the sapphire, put it back in and we're on our way. A couple days later my fiancé notices the ring seems tight. We go to Jarred's to check the size and it was a full size smaller than we requested. This is the third time Fullers gets the size wrong. Each time we have asked for a 5 1/4 and have not received. This store is 45min away from where we live and we have had to go there every weekend for about a month. We just returned last week to have the ring resized again and the wedding band arrived as well. We have both rings resized and this time they fit right. I go to check the rings yesterday and the blue sapphire is now missing in the wedding band. We have emailed the owner with a picture and no response. I have spent a large amount of money with this establishment and they didn't seem to care throughout the whole process each time they messed up and made multiple excuses when they did. Their workmanship is terrible, they are overpriced and you are 100% just another dollar sign to them. Save yourself the time and find another place to do business with. read more

Initially went to Fast Fix in the Stonebriar Mall in a Frisco to have batteries replaced in 2 high-end watches as well as links replaced in one of the bands. I was quoted $80 battery replacement with 3 month guarantee for one watch, $115 battery replacement for the other watch and $50 to add back links to one watch band and I already had the links to be replaced. All totaled, the bill at Fast Fix, rather fast rip-off, was going to be $245 plus tax. Just had all this work completed in s timely and professional manner at Fuller's for $54 including the tax. Fuller's was honest, professional and fast. I highly recommend them. Stay away from mall based jewelry repair places like Fast Fix! read more
