My broken herringbone looks just as good as it did the day I bought it many years ago.

Fuller's Jewelry is my new "go to" jeweler going forward. I discovered them on Yelp and decided to try them out based on the amazing reviews. The customer service here is amazing! When I returned here for my second visit to pick up the necklace I had repaired, they already knew me by name. As soon as I walked in, the sweet older gentleman (I don't remember his name) walked straight to the back, and had my necklace at the counter waiting for me.

Best jewelers around. I live in Missouri and drove to Dallas just so they could work on my ring. It's beautiful! All the work they do is perfect. Ask for Karl, he's the greatest.

I came here looking for my fiancé's wedding band, and we picked out our favorite parts of a few different rings and had one unique made just to his liking. Love the ability to be able to customize. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! And the ring was finished so fast...I believe it took about a week (in the beginning of the COVID pandemic). The perfect wedding band for the most amazing man! Love this place...great selection.

Justin Fuller is fantastic. He created a beautiful ring for my fiancé and it was at a fair price. Justin was honest, wasn't pushy, knew what we wanted, and did a great job designing a custom ring. He exceeded expectations!

What an awesome experience!…read more I went to 3 other jewelry stores prior to finding Gillespie Fine Jewelers for my wedding set. I tried a small independently owned one that quoted me over twice as much. I tried a big box one that claimed the small one was wrong about what needed to be done to keep my wedding set in good shape and wanted to charge 4 times as much (not an exaggeration-I was floored). The third one I went to, told me that they couldn't quote me until their jeweler was back on Monday, but I could leave the rings with them and they'd call me-no thank you. THEN I found Gillespie Fine Jewelers and I knew this is where everyone I love needs to come. I met the owner Kim, and his calm familiar demeanor immediately set me at ease. He was honest and fair in quoting me for my set. He actually agreed with the diagnosis from the first store which made me feel he knew his stuff. He didn't tack on extra unnecessary prong repairs just to bump up the price. From our conversation, he told me he has been a bench jeweler since he was 25. Since he does his own work, he doesn't have to charge us extra to pay for the jeweler doing the work. He's not just an owner that doesn't touch the pieces, he does everything and is extremely skilled at his craft. His quotes are transparent and he explains why the cost is what he is charging. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at a jewelry store. I walked away finding a gentleman and a businessman I knew I TRUSTED. He did impeccable work on my set and he didn't break the bank in the process. I will be coming back! If you want an honest jeweler that knows his craft and is skilled enough to do the work on his own, come to Gillespie Fine Jewelers-he won't disappoint!

I remember it clear as day, even now…read more Back in 2007, on a quiet weekday, I brought an expensive precious stone, a gift from my mother, to this jewelry shop. At the time, the shop was located inside a large wholesale mall near downtown. I wanted to purchase a setting and have my stone mounted on it, which I did. After I chose the setting, they took both the stone and the setting to the back workshop. About twenty minutes later, they brought the finished ring out to me. That's when something felt off. Immediately, I noticed the stone looked different. The princess cut was no longer perfectly square, and it appeared taller in height. It had lost its familiar sparkle. The bright brilliance from the top was gone. I was confused, but at that moment it didn't fully register, so I left the store. I couldn't imagine that something like that could have happened. But over the next few hours, I couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't the same stone. I returned to the store and told them my concern. "No, it's a beautiful ring and stone," they said. "We had no problem mounting it." As I replayed the experience in my head, one detail stood out. During the mounting process, the jeweler in the back called over the front sales associate, the one who had helped me choose the setting. The two of them looked at something together and spoke quietly. Then the sales associate went to the front of the store to speak with an older man who seemed to be the owner. After a brief exchange, the associate returned to the workshop for another short conversation. The whole time, none of them made eye contact with me. Thinking back, I can't help but wonder. Did something happen? I was young, trusting, and inexperienced in jewelry shopping back then. I had no certificate for the stone, no proof. Only my word. And I was afraid of facing the truth and confronting them. The memory still comes back to me now and then, and when it does, I still feel a sense of guilt...for letting my mother down and losing her precious gift. I never told her about what happened. I didn't want her to worry. I've never been much of a jewelry person. I've only purchased a few pieces for life events. Maybe, I'll buy a few more in my life time, only when I have to. Very infrequently, but when I take jewelry in for cleaning or maintenance, I always stay close to it. I don't let it out of my sight.

Ultimately though we DID NOT have the same experience that our family member did, I guess because we were unhappy with their work product and we had to go back and attempt to take advantage of post-sale service. If you are concerned about your jewelry store standing behind their work, you really should go somewhere else. We went in to have a tension ring re-sized, which they claimed they could do. We paid over $1000 for the resizing, and within 3 months the stone JUST FELL OUT!! Luckily after an hour or so on our hands and knees we found the diamond. We took it back for them fix it, which they did, for another charge of several hundred dollars. Guess what, almost immediately the stone became loose again. I gave them one more chance and to their credit they did not charge for the 3rd try. But within weeks the stone actually FELL OUT again (see picture). I went back in again, frustrated as you can imagine but calm, and they said they would stand behind their work BUT their work WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE DIAMOND EVEN IF their work caused the stone to fall out and lost forever! What kind of comfort is that? Are they afraid of their own work product resulting in lost stones apparently? But I digress, Gem now claims that the ring style is the real issue, not their work! They say that tension settings are an inherently unreliable mount. Really? I don't think so because my wife had this same tension ring for over 10 years and experienced absolutely no problems at all. I kept telling them but to no avail, it's not their fault. In the end, I simple asked for my money back because they didn't do what we paid them to do! But, you guessed it, they would not accommodate at all, and had the audacity to tell me to go somewhere else and still kept my money So that is my recommendation to you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! There are dozens of reputable jewelry dealers in the Dallas area that can sell a ring, but only the better establishments stand behind their work, and Gem is NOT one of those retailers.
