Dr Galley was unprofessional and did not listen to my concerns. Laughs too much and talks to assistant. I spent over $6,000 to get four crowns in front. I had a crooked tooth that I was reluctant to smile. She fixed that by making me look like a chipmunk with an overbite. I had trouble with root canal she did and was finally referred to a qualified dentist. I haven't been back. read more

Until recently, I would have given Fuller Dental a 5-star rating; however, I can no longer do that. I cannot recommend Fuller Dental at all. At one of my routine visits, my dentist advised me to have some work done even though I was not experiencing any problems. I am not a dentist, and because I trusted my dentist, I agreed to have the procedures done. I was given an estimate based on what my insurance was going to pay. When I arrived at the office to have the work done, I paid my insurance portion of the bill, the work was done, and I was on my way. I received a $500 bill several months later. I was told that the insurance company had denied the claim. Upon further investigation, I discovered that P&R (the company that handles claims for the insurance company - who knew?) had denied it because of "insufficient information from the provider." I also found out that only providers are allowed to contact P&R (I still don't know what P&R stands for). According to Fuller Dental, they have provided all the information to P&R, and there is nothing else they can do. So, now Fuller Dental has turned over the bill to collections and will not provide services to my wife and me. I have discussed this with several different people at their office with no relief. I believe that if Fuller Dental is unable to provide the proper information to P&R, and that is why the claim is denied, that I should not be held liable. Could it be that all the dentists who work at Fuller Dental are expected to produce billable services to maintain their status with the firm, and by doing so, they "look" for work much like a car mechanic? I suspect this is precisely what is going on, and they may have performed unnecessary work on me and are unable to provide documentation to back it up. Now, they expect me to pay for it. Therefore, I cannot recommend Fuller Dental to anyone. If you decide to ignore this warning, be prepared for the same experience. read more

I was not impressed with the Fuller office staff. Here are the reasons: #1. I arrived for my second visit and staff was not aware of my appointment after I had an appointment card from my previous visit. #2. Initial examination indicated that I needed a crown replaced and a small tooth filling. I had the filling completed on the third visit, but was never given an appointment for the crown replacement. Another reason I will not return to Fuller Dental is that they do not accept my United Healthcare Insurance, therefore my out-of-pocket costs are higher. Fuller Dental should tell you that when you make your first appointment. Therefore, I cannot recommend Fuller Dental to anyone. read more

Wow. Unbelievable. Just like the other reviews, my husband had cavities filled. They didn't seal them or finish the procedure and now he has to have root canals. What kind of chop shop practice is this? They also gave him an extreme amount of aesthetic that pumped his heart rate up to a dangerous level, he had to reschedule, nearly to go the ER and blamed it on him "not eating enough beforehand." They have no clue what they are doing here and they are dangerous. And now we are having to pay triple to another dentist to remove the damage they caused. Please choose another dentist. read more

As a new patient I had a consultation which included exrays and a thorough examination of my teeth and gums. Dr. Fuller spent 30 minutes talking with me and explained why they have special cleanings depending on the health of a person's gums and teeth. I showed up to my first appointment at Fuller and they turned me away because they did not have my insurance information and said it would take 2 hours to verify it. My wife had my step son in their office 2 weeks prior and made my appointment. WE HAVE A FAMILY DENTAL INSURANCE PLAN and she specifically mentioned having the same insurance as my step-son while making the appointment. When i mentioned this they said "oh, I did not realize you had a family plan." I also asked why I did not receive a call from their office asking for the insurance info and they said they called and left a voice message. I'm sorry to say, but I had no voicemail from them....just texts confirming my appointment (not mentioning anything about insurance either). They offered to keep the appointment if I paid $350 out of pocket while they took the two hours to "verify my insurance." read more

Dr David Fuller took excellent care of my cracked tooth, mending it, taking away the severe pain I was in. I will still have to get to my dentist in the US after vacation, but now I can continue my vacation pain free. The service was very reasonable, probably less than what I would have had to pay in the US. I found him to be a very kind and gentle. I highly recommend. If I lived local, I would definitely be seeing him for all dental work. read more

Went here for a simple filling and now have a mis-shaped tooth that feels like i have something stuck between my teeth!,I will find and pay someone else to fix it correctly as I'm afraid to go back to these people! If the BAD dentistry was'nt enough they charged me nearly 400.00$!!!....If you're going here and think its ok;then you don't know what GOOD Dentistry is! Staff aren't that bright. I set up an appointment for October 7th,2020 in July and the staff called me on October 6th, 2020 (the day before my appointment) to tell me that they don't accept my type of insurance and canceled my appointment. Complete waste of my time. Mind you, when I called in July to book the appointment, the woman over the phone(I believe her name was Michelle) told me that they accepted my insurance. You think they would confirm or ask additional questions to make sure you're not wasting your time...but again, they're not that bright. Completely turned me off, I recommend taking your business elsewhere, and the staff wasn't sympathetic at all. I waited 2 months to be seen just to get this news the day before my appointment. Never in my life have I dealt with such ignorance. Advice...Do your jobs correctly, and do your research before you insist on getting potential clients off the phone. *Zero stars. read more

I have always liked my dentist here, BUT if you call to make a appointment for someone new they're not honest about accepting their insurance. I have recommended 3 people here and all 3 needed expensive cleaning even though they have always kept up with it at other dentist. Be prepared to over pay ! read more

ELON Parents and Students Beware. Do not go here, particularly if you don't have dental insurance, as we don't. My freshman daughter went by herself for a consultation and cleaning. We paid $85 for the consultation and she was sent away without the cleaning, and had to schedule to come back. Upon return she was given three (yes, three) X-rays, because the first one was messed up, the second "panoramic" X-ray was not panoramic enough, so the third X-ray included basic 'wing' shots. All to the tune of $200! The most shocking part was that she was advised to do a special, deep cleaning that involved 'scaling' her teeth. After this was done, for a mere $180 (!), she was told to return the following week in order for the job "to be finished". The second part of this job was in fact a regular cleaning that would require another $99!! When I called to ask HOW they can charge $180 for a "special" cleaning that doesn't actually clean teeth, the office manager was genuinely confused by my question. I rephrased it: WHY would you charge so much money for a deep dental cleaning that doesn't do what it claims to do? She was still stumped. I don't know if this means they are extremely dishonest or extremely ignorant about how to run a decent business. To add insult to injury, they claim to have given my daughter another full exam, although she had already had the consultation the prior week (in most cities, the consultation IS the exam): the final bill was $476 for the one short, basic visit. read more

BEWARE. They will bill you to the maximum that they can. They quoted for a filling for my daughter and I expected to pay $150 but then they used filling not covered by our insurance for the tooth, and I was met with a bill that was DOUBLE what I was quoted. Why? Well, because instead of accepting what our insurance pays, they took the payment and then balance billed me the rest. The receptionist could not figure out why the bill was so much higher than quoted when I checked out. I had to figure it out myself. And the problems with billing continued. My husband is a retired, totally disabled vet. Tricare stopped carrying our insurance, and we had to switch to a different carrier. They did the maximum amount of x rays during his cleaning, let us know NOT when I checked out but when I called to ask about the bill that we were sent (which would have been covered at 100% with our last insurance). Again, did not let us know out of courtesy that we were now out of network, and they charged their charge for everything, balance billing again. Perfectly legal, sure. But also, poor customer service and unethical. FIND A DIFFERENT DENTIST who is as interested in their patients as they are in their bottom line. read more

I would NEVER bring my child back here! My daughter is afraid of the dentist and didn't want an apparatus in her mouth. So we left last month with nothing done and paid for the procedure. They said come back and we'll do nitrous and she'll be fine. Came back, didn't work, dr was rude and very unsympathetic and the nitrous had no effect at all! I had to pay $70 for the nitrous, and get this, $50 behavior fee for my frightened child. I hope that anyone considering this place thinks twice and finds a pediatric dentist for their child... read more

This is an amazing dental practice! Modern, state-of-the-art facilities, wonderful front desk staff, helpful and friendly hygienists and dental assistants, and top-notch doctors. When I first moved to the area, I was going to a different dental practice, but after having a filling redone there and feeling like they weren't using the most advanced dental medicine techniques, I decided to look elsewhere. Fuller is not in-network for my dental insurance, but they are worth every dollar. They have even worked relentlessly with me to help fix a problem that arose after I had a root canal last year. They call back to see how I'm doing and the one time I had an issue, they followed up immediately and took care of the problem. They are a pleasure to work with. I have full confidence that they are the best in Alamance County! If you're looking for a dentist, look no further. I see Dr. Rawley IV, but have also seen Dr. Matsko (talk about a hoot - this guy is hilarious!) and Dr. Osborn (very kind, compassionate woman). I highly recommend all of them!
