Report to DCHR. I've been complaining about several issues and this is the result of one of them. We were lured in by fake amenities that never functioned or are no longer available. The quality of our once new building has steadily declined as management does not maintain upkeep or address repair needs. Often, they seek out quick and cheap repairs or solutions, if at all. We've had constant issues with building security and stolen packages. Management has left it up to us to deal with these problems. Although we do our best to monitor each other's packages and deliveries, we continue to battle security issues and theft. On more than one occasion we've been lied to by this company. Concerning maintenance and building concerns, they will tell you what you want to hear with no intent to follow through or honor their word. We were looking at a specific building and got connected to an agent/manager who represented it. She was very nice and quick to reply, as was the broker whom we actually met in person to see the apartments, but neither the specific apartment nor subsequent ones seemed in great shape. At one of the apartments, there were dead cockroaches on the floor and the shared backyard was erupting in cigarette butts. (I guess it's good they were upfront about it?) The manager still tried to convince us to take the apartment even though I was clear that this was a dealbreaker. Curious, I Googled the manager's phone number and found these Yelp reviews. I also dug around a little further on WhoOwnsWhat. It seems like the company goes under many generic-sounding names to avoid detection. Had to update since I finally left. Full time management had a massive bookkeeping error that miscalculated our rent (after construction discounts). They tanked our credit over money that we didn't actually owe, and wouldn't return our security deposit, and we eventually had to hire an attorney. They held our security deposit and told us that they wouldn't return our money until we signed and notarized a document saying that we wouldn't sue them, which is illegal. Anyway, when we finally were about to take things to court they returned the money we were owed and cleared the balance. Still working to get this error removed from my credit report though. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Absolutely AWFUL!! We had a leak through the ceiling that flooded and short circuited a light fixture. No one came to fix it after MULTIPLE back and forth and my roommates and I going as far as leaving a key to allow the plumber in. We just wanted to have the situation fixed but to no avail. Their management is barely responsive, and when they do they hardly ever address your concerns. The apartment we moved into was unclean, unfixed, the toilet was broken for the first week and none of the lights in the apartment had functioning bulbs. They don't care about this and didn't offer anything other than a disheartened "sorry." If you are looking for an apartment and find out that the management service is Full Time I suggest you look elsewhere. It's hard to find an apt in NYC but along with the typical amenities you look for, make SURE to look for good management. Trust me, I checked these reviews (a little too late) and was wondering if my roommates and I would have any issues - clearly we did. They promised us our deposit back 3-4 weeks after move out (LEGALLY OBLIGATED) so best believe if there is any issue with that we will be taking them to court. read more

Feel so bad for my friend -i'm visiting for the weekend and her apartment has constant blackouts only in her unit, it's an electrical issue and they will not fix it permanently or send someone to turn it back on. She's been calling them for 12 hours now and she is the only unit down - it's a simple breaker locked up in the basement but due to a lack of anyone being there all the food in her fridge has gone and her pets are overheating. Cannot believe i'm writing the next morning and no one has come to help her. DO NOT live in a building "managed" by this company. I wish I could give them a lower rating. Where to even begin.... The photos that they use in listings are always of different units in the building. Upon moving in, the apartment was in terrible condition - dirty, unpainted, covered in spackle marks, with broken cabinets. We have had SO many issues - bug infestations, leaks, broken appliances, and no heat EVERY winter. The front door was shoddily constructed and people would break into the building and steal packages - even once there was an apartment robbery in the building. And through it all, the management was fully MIA. They do not respond to tickets, texts, or phone calls. Only when the entire building banded together to withhold rent (and call 311) did they respond. And still, they showed no actual interest in the tenants or the upkeep of the building, even though their violations were quite literally illegal. They are negligent, incompetent, and apathetic towards human life. Renting from this company is beyond a bad idea. The apartment conditions are quite literally illegal and dangerous. read more

Guys, PLEASE don't rent an apartment at 16-25 or 16-35 Putnam Ave under Full Time Management.... When we first moved in, the super, Waz told us that he had to do some work on our apartment which was fine. All he did was literally paint over all the dirt and gunk on the walls. We can even see where he painted over hair that is now stuck to the wall. Upon moving in, he told us that a "team of cleaning specialists" had gone through and deep cleaned our unit. That was not the case! It was covered in filth and dirt from the previous tenants. The super also told us that an "air condition professional" had inspected and cleaned all our A/C and heating units. When I turned my AC on, it leaked all over my bed, and upon inspection I realized that the filter in the unit was caked with over an inch of dirt and dust..... Our first night in the apartment, I saw 3 roaches crawling up the wall. From then on, I saw at least 5-6 roaches A DAY in our unit until I spent $100 on caulk and roach spray to fix the problem myself. All Full Time Management did was call an exterminator who sprayed some chemical in a few cracks. Our bathroom wall is literally falling apart because of water damage, and our windows were leaking every time it rained outside until we forced the Super to call a window specialist, who told us our windows weren't even fully functional. Thankfully the specialist was able to fix the issue, but again the Super was just absolutely clueless and lazy regarding the issue. Our heat was out for at least 2 days this winter, our fridge leaks dirty water everywhere and is not fully functional, our sink broke within a week of moving in, the walls are PAPER thin. The "amenities" are always populated with the residents of the building who are constantly doing drugs or loitering. I've seen multiple drug deals happen inside the building, and there is a group of 20 y/o's who live in the building who take Percocet and other pills and will stay in the courtyard of the building til after 4am yelling and talking and blaring music. It's impossible to sleep if you're window faces the courtyard. Our packages are CONSTANTLY stolen. Some members of the building banned together and posted some signs above the package area, trying to dissuade the package thieves from taking our stuff. The Super conveniently took down our signs?!! and never fixed the issue. Someone almost burnt down the whole building during the winter, their whole apartment was lit on fire and the fire department had to come and put it out. Not sure if it was their fault or something to do with the building, but management didn't care one bit. The whole street is covered with rats, even during the daytime you see them roaming around openly. All the other buildings on the same side of the street are unkept and just as disgusting as these ones. Please guys, do yourself a favor and find another apartment building.... read more

Do not expect them to come to your rescue, even if your ceilings are leaking or toilet is overflowing. And, they like to take their g*dd*mn time when dealing with the issues of their tenants. Generally, none of the employees are ever going to express genuine concern in any apartment-related issues because, like, they do not care. Additionally, they have no idea who you are as a tenant. Three people living in the apartment; some of us at work / some of us at school-- if we put in a ticket referring to a present issue, it is guaranteed that they're going to call the wrong person back (that person is not going to pick up), and the management is going to drop the issue entirely. read more

I have been at my place with Full Time Management for over 2 years and have never encountered a group of people as incompetent and completely apathetic to their jobs. Zee is extremely rude and does not even bother to get back to you (even after several calls and emails) and it usually takes my male roommate getting in touch to even get his attention. I don't understand how he can even hold this job. Currently dealing with a tub and toilet that don't work and have been practically begging them to send someone out for almost a week, when they finally confirm they will send someone out they don't show up. While NY was under PAUSE order in March, advised management I would like to stay past lease expiration of May 1, offering to pay my portion of the rent; they gave no warning of financial repercussions until April 26, and did not communicate directly with me. Had to move possessions out in the middle of the height of the pandemic, only to find that they were withholding only my portion of the security deposit. Threatening financial repercussions in this manner is a pseudo-eviction, and while NYC is the epicenter of the pandemic, was a risk to health and safety to have to relocate. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am pursuing other measures. read more

I am writing this review as I don't want others to go through what I have been going through with this awful "management" company. Our apartment was never even cleaned when we showed up to move in. We spent thousands painting, patching and trying to make it liveable. Benny our manager kept telling us he'd get things fixed but when my moving truck showed up 2 weeks AFTER we were supposed to move in nothing and I mean NOTHING had been done so we really had no choice but to do it all ourselves. Our building regularly has water turned off, a terrible rat issue, no insulation (so our utility bills are astronomical) and rented me a property that advertised a private backyard. The neighbors tore down the fence and now my "private" backyard is open to anyone and my apartment itself is totally vulnerable to break ins, not to mention all my backyard furniture that is basically up for grabs to anyone who can step over a short, temporary fence. Fulltime Management regularly closes for days and weeks at a time leaving no one to assist tenants while they take their "religious" holidays. They also rarely speak to me and tend to deal with my husband only because you know, I'm only a woman. Emergencies come up and they don't respond for days or weeks if at all. Originally I was going to start this review by saying, "If there's a Hell, whoever's running it could take some pointers from the people in charge of Full Time Management." But after living in one of their properties for a year, I no longer think there is an afterlife, I do not believe there is a benevolent God who cares about us, because if there was then Full Time Management and the people who work there would not exist. The unit I lived in had radiators. On SEVEN (yes, SEVEN) separate occasions I had to contact management and demand that the heat be turned on. On most of those days, the temperature outside was below freezing. Most of those times, we also just straight up didn't have hot water! You may be asking yourself, "Hey, isn't that INCREDIBLY illegal?" And to that I say, "Yes! It is! And they're aware of that too, because the heat would magically be on whenever I filed a complaint with 311 and they notified management that they would be on the premises." Things happen. Stuff breaks. That I understand. This was a two bedroom in Brooklyn, not the Ritz. But usually when something breaks, your hope is that the person who's in charge of getting these things fixed, y'know, fixes them. Being a building manager is the most bullshit non-job a person can work. It's the easiest fake thing to do, maybe second to being a landlord. And yet, Tom Rosenberg, the Michael Jordan of Being Bad At His Job, managed to trip over a bar so low that it's embedded in the ground. Incompetent doesn't even begin to describe him. On the fifth time our heat wasn't working and I had to beg for it to be turned on, Tom responded by telling me that someone was messing with the controls, saying "I'm not sure who might be playing with it, we will go ahead and lock the basement so no one can control but us." That's a direct quote. So imagine my surprise when the heat wasn't working a few days later! Turns out someone WASN'T trying to turn the heat off when it was 36 degrees out! It turns out that not fixing the problem DOESN'T fix the problem! If you live in the city, you're going to have a terrible landlord at some point. That's just the nature of the beast. If you can though, try not to make it someone at Full Time Management. If you're looking at listings and see a building owned by "DB____LLC" with the blank being a street name, run, don't walk away. Renting is like getting a dental procedure done: it's gonna hurt, but you have the right to get it done by someone who doesn't seem to take some kind of perverse joy in your pain. read more

I would love to give this company negative stars. It is by far the most abhorrent experience I have had ever in my life. They don't care at all about you and your well being - all they care about is getting your money from you. Honestly there are just too many complaints to name but I will just touch on a few: 1. The heating system was so messed up that when we had heat (and this was very rarely) it was as hot as a Hot Yoga room. Most of the winter there was no heat at all and we had to heat the apartment via space heaters and turning on the oven. Had to keep calling 311 to get them to turn the heat back on and even then it was a struggle. 2. We experienced two major leaks -- one caused our floor to buckle about 4 inches and when they "fixed" it the first time they hired such cheap contractors that mended the top of the floor but left tons of black mold underneath. The other leak started as a waterfall that came down in our bedroom doorway. This was left untreated even though we called in an emergency and it caused our bedroom ceiling to collapse. All the mold stuck in the ceiling fell all over out bedroom and ruined most of our belongings. 3. The fire department showed up at our place because of the broken boiler about 3 times and they still did not change a thing. Not only is renting from this company a bad idea, it is also pretty dangerous. Head my warnings and just run as far away as you can! read more

Uncooperative with ridiculous policies. I rented an apartment from here through Nooklyn. The person I worked with at Nooklyn verbally assured me that I would get my security deposit back once the lease was over. He assured me that the money was mine and always would be mine. Fast forward to the end of my lease. All of us but one person moved out, so in Full Time Management's mind that was still the same lease, so they rolled over our security deposits which I cannot get back despite the fact that my name is no longer on the lease. Rachel from FTM told me that "they make sure that policy is very clear" however I was never verbally told by any one from FTM or Nooklyn. I was never given a copy of the lease from FTM or Nooklyn either, so I cannot even check this. Of course this is partially my fault for not making sure I had a copy of the lease. I would not recommend FTM nor Nooklyn for that matter as they both did not help in this process. In fact, Nooklyn rented me a room in this apartment that wasn't really a room. And when I tried to contact them about it, they never replied. Anyway, think twice about renting from FTM. read more

I have had a few issues for about 4 months since I have moved in and nothing has been resolved. No real help seems to be available. Its pretty hard to get ahold of a building manager too. Whether they are malicious or completely inept to run a business, I cannot say for sure, but there is such a transparent lack of concern for the tenant that it is truly laughable. They are not responsive on email. One time my CEILING WAS LEAKING and I was told to put in a maintenance ticket, and no one ever did anything, despite many emails following up. Then when my security deposit was not returned, I had to send multiple emails to hear anything- just to be completely gaslit and told my emails were replied to- and then they claimed they sent them. I know why you're here. After a long and grueling apartment search, you think you've finally found "The One." It's in a neat location, probably close to the train, and it's beautiful! There's probably even ~*ExPoSeD bRiCk*~. And for that much apartment, the price really isn't bad. And so you are thinking of signing a lease with Full Time Management. Don't do it. Run. Run away as fast as you can. Yes, the apartment is nice on the outside. Beautiful, actually. But what they don't tell you is that on the inside, it's crumbling. The nice brick or remodeled floors come at the expense of a crumbling infrastructure. We had cracks in the wall because whoever built the building just forgot to make them meet, I guess. Leaks constantly - some so bad that my roommate had to abandon her bedroom and live in the living room for weeks. The worst part? Despite frequent calls, texts, emails, and complaints, none of these things were addressed. Occasionally, if a problem was serious enough (read: they can be sued about it) and you complain enough about it, the management will call somebody up who lives in the area to come by and take a look at it. They are not professionals, nor do they even particularly know what they are doing (with the exception of Orlando, shoutout to him.) They are impossible to reach to follow up with and once they come by and check out the situation, they say they will be back the next day, but they disappear into the wind, and the management has by then washed their hands of the situation. Problems included, but were not limited to: leaks at multiple parts in the apartment, broken heat and no water for weeks at a time, rats everywhere in the building, and of course the occasional cockroaches, maggots and ants, dishwasher and intercom broken for months, pipes held together by grocery bags and duct tape, and the worst - cracks in the wall which, for 8 weeks, let the dust from next-door construction come through and cover everything I owned. Every single day for months, my roommate and I would get home and I had to spend two hours cleaning up my entire apartment because there was plaster dust in everything I owned - food, dishes, laundry, bed, etc. We must have notified management a hundred times about the situation through every conceivable avenue. Nobody cared or did a thing. The cracks also let in all of the cold air from outside during the brutal winter. Because temperatures got so cold, the pipes froze and burst, flooding almost every apartment, some to such a degree that the fire department had told them they needed to move out. I spent a lot of nights sleeping in a full coat. Our heating bill was astronomical because the old heating system wasn't capable of fighting the cold. Of course, we weren't reimbursed for this expense, and my roommate and I ate hundreds of dollars. We absolutely had a legal case, but neither myself nor my roommate had the time or the money to pursue it. We called and demanded to be let out of the lease because of the uninhabitable condition of the apartment. They would not let us unless we signed a waiver releasing them of all liability for the situation, and we signed it because we just had to get out of there for the sake of our own sanity. Between the heating bills they never covered, the moving costs, and the months of rent I paid for living in an unlivable apartment (out of fear of ending up on the dreaded blacklist), I am out thousands of dollars. I have been renting an apartment of theirs right near the Myrtle-Wyckoff stop on the L since Dec 1, and these people are SLUM LORDS. The building I am in is under Adar Holdings LLC, and as a previous reviewer stated, they have different names for their various buildings. Perhaps they think this makes the problems of gross neglect seem less widespread? At move-in, the stove was broken, the dishwasher was non-functional [in addition to being installed so it could not open], the ipod dock and speaker system was non-functional, the key cards we were given to access the building were only SOMETIMES functional, the building itself was not secure and we were already getting packages stolen from our lobby. They sort of fixed the dishwasher, a friend of mine fixed the stove just a few weeks ago, they fixed the ipod dock to reveal a sound system as abysmal as installing earbud speakers in the ceiling. My tiny netbook has better, less crackly sound. Needless to say, we never use it. There have been leaks in the apartment through the vent in the bathroom ceiling and now through the light switches in the wall. And the toilet began to come loose from the floor a month ago and still no one has come to fix it. There is a problem with the wiring in the apartment, so entire circuits short out at random even when nothing is on, which means the apartment has faulty wiring. After two months of complaining and wondering whether we will die of an electrical fire, this problem has still not been fixed. Which is not to mention the roof deck we were all so excited about. It's the dead of winter right now, so no more than a few people have been on the roof, but when there, because the building is so structurally unsound, mere walking causes our entire apartment to shake, frames to fall off walls and items to fall off shelves. In the summer when people start throwing actual parties up there, I am 100% sure our apartment will become unlivable. Or the management will have to shut down the roof deck all together, which is an amenity we were all promised. So if you are thinking of renting from these slum lords, PLEASE STEER CLEAR. They have already told us they would not let us out of our lease and we are going to have to take them to housing court. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. read more

As other reviews describe, dealing with this company is shitty at best. They call themselves Columbia Heights Neighbors LLC, but emailing them involves guessing which email address they're using for whatever company they're calling themselves at that particular point in time. Its incredibly sketchy. As soon as I move in, I find that none of the light fixtures have working light bulbs. I attempt to contact one of the repairmen who work on the building and they have no idea which bulbs belong in the fixtures (they're dimmers), so they replace them with stock bulbs that cut off randomly and make a loud buzzing noise when turned on. But I figure this is a minor issue. In the next few weeks I discover roaches in the bathroom and the kitchen. I decide this is a minor problem, but I find out that they're crawling all over the fridge and breeding (small roaches in the kitchen as well). I call them, they don't do anything but give me a number for an exterminator and tell me to set up the appointment. Roaches are gone, but reappear frequently, but now there are also mice. I call, exterminator comes by, I think they're taken care of. Nope the problem gets worse. I see 3 in a week. I've been fighting with them to get the problem taken care of for two weeks. Exterminator refused to come by. I email management, they don't reply. I call the exterminator again, he finally decides he will come. Additionally, the hallways are always filthy. There is an illegal restaurant across my hall. Walls are paper thin. Residents are loud and frequently stay up until 1 am playing music, lighting fireworks, and shouting. I've contacted management, they don't do anything. So I've resorted to calling the police when I hear the fireworks. Stove only works half the time. Someone drew dicks in permanent market outside the building and inside the lobby, and burned cigarettes into the lobby wall. I contacted management, they didn't reply. Fireworks and trash in front of the apartment all the time. Front door was broken for two months so I had packages from UPS stolen until I arranged for them to be delivered elsewhere. Contacted management, and two-three weeks later someone finally fixed the door. Literally had a box of food broken into and thrown behind the stairs. Probably had $200-$300 worth of items stolen. I was told there would be a gate installed in front of the stoop last year, but so far that has not happened. This winter I had no heat. I contacted the super multiple times, and they claimed to fix it. They didn't. I basically just turned on the stove and put on tons of sweaters whenever it dropped below 40 outside. Thank god my lease ends in two months because this entire experience has been a nightmare of me nagging the management company to make this apartment livable. I would assume its not too much to not have roaches and mice exchanging places every other month. This would not be a problem if they evicted the residents who have created the mouse problem (illegal restaurant) and actually took care of the property by cleaning it regularly and patching the shoddy construction work done on newly renovated units. People say that in New York its normal to have roaches and mice. This is not true! Do not listen to them. I lived here for two years prior to moving into this building and never saw a mouse or a roach in my prior apartment. I look forward to retuning to that experience. The only plus about this building is that William, the assistant super, is a nice guy and I see that he works as hard as he can to keep this building in shape. But his work is futile as management would rather it devolve into a slum and still charge astronomical rents. read more

Truly wish I could give zero stars. I literally made an account just to post this warning to anyone thinking of living at one of their properties. DO NOT. Management does not care about tenants at all and used outdated photos/"similar units in building" to sell it. The apartment was never cleaned before move-in and nearly all lightbulbs were burnt out/missing. The fridge was disgusting and no amount of cleaning would get the shelves inside clear again. Toilet broke within a week, shower drain remained almost fully backed up the entire year I lived there. No smoke or CO2 detector was ever installed or offered. We notified them of all these issues soon after moving in and no one ever responded. The bathroom ceiling gushed water through the light fixture until the entire bathroom/hallway was flooded and an electrical hazard--this happened multiple times and no one ever answered our pleas to fix. There were water stains growing on the bedroom ceilings. The neighbors directly upstairs told us their sink and toilets kept flooding (likely why our ceilings then leaked, in addition to when it rained) but management never helped them with it. When someone finally came out to look at the black mold in our bathroom (huge patches on the ceiling), he just painted over it. I can't even tell you if the man who did it was the super - he seemed untrained in complicated repairs and when he did respond, he was only available around ten to noon on weekdays, forcing us to take hours off work or live without the repair. The building is literally crumbling apart, huge chunks of the lobby walls would fall off, our door chain lock broke when we tried to used it, and the mail frequently went missing. No one ever responded to our begs for repairs. Not that it should matter, but we always paid our rent on time and requested repairs politely through the app as instructed, got along fine with the neighbors. I reported them to the city because that's just messed up. They're after your rent money and don't care about anything else--I'm sure we weren't the first people to move out after a year and it'll just keep going. The women in the management office we talked to were nice enough until we started pushing, and then they got defensive/unhelpful. The worst company, money hungry and cheap, my old apartment (74 Maujer) was a complete sham. We got lured in during covid over a facetime tour, which was incredibly stupid I know but we had no other choice, apartment looks fine on first sweep but quickly you notice how disgusting everything is, walls crumbling and peeling, disgusting baseboards covered in sticky red liquid, yellowing everywhere, stains, holes where the walls should meet the floor, cheap and fault appliances, and dust everywhere. Maintenance requests went unanswered for months, took months to get sink fixed and light bulbs replaced so we were basically in the dark in our bathroom and we couldn't change them ourselves, sink never stopped leaking in the end. We went a week with no absolutely no heat in the winter and the units blasting cold air. Everything was just taped over or quickly "fixed" so it would always break again. Horrible amenities, the washer/dryers were filthy and barely worked, I don't think we had fully clean clothes the whole time we were there and everyone owns dogs in the apt so it always smells like wet dog and dog hair covered the machines. They will also try to trick you out of your money and try to keep your deposit, don't sign the final release form until you have your money back! They also tried to trick us into moving out early and they never cleaned/fixed the apartment when we moved in/out. I rented an apartment from them and was forced to move out, in part due to how unmanageable they were. My ex-roommate has signed a form stating she is responsible for all of the rent, yet I am still getting emails from them asking for the rent to the point of what is legally harassment. We were the first people to move into a newly renovated apartment, in a totally new area of the building. They took four months and rent withholding to fix a shower that was broken when we moved in. Our door lock broke and started spinning in its socket (a safety issue) and nobody fixed it for two weeks despite multiple attempts to contact them, my roommate eventually got locked out and had to call a locksmith. The apartment next door had to have their floor torn up because something was leaking and causing the boards to warp. It took us a month to have internet, and me calling and begging Optimum to come and set it up for the building because they didn't set up themselves. They will ALWAYS tell you they'll get back to you "tomorrow" or "in a few days" and never do. They do not keep records. My ex-roommate has been forced into litigation with them. If I could give negative stars I would. Buildings look renovated but have been updated cheaply and have problems with leaks. Asking the super to fix things yields no results. Our "super" changed basically from month to month and we almost never had an updated phone number or e-mail for that person. Trying to communicate with the office is next to impossible. My roommates and I tried to transfer the remainder of our lease to another willing party, and the Fulltime Management Staff didn't pick up the phone, acknowledge receipt of paperwork, or do the bare minimum to get the documents signed. We did all of the work and yet somehow it still fell through. New York is a crappy place to rent, but you can do better than this. read more

I have lived in my apartment rented through FTM for almost 6 years now because my experience has been okay there. The walls are paper thin, but the apt is overall in good condition. I've had some issues in the past with the apt, and though it took usually about 2 phone calls to make it happen, things always got taken care of. If I could give zero stars I would. This is by far the shittiest management company I have ever dealt with. Upon moving in to my apartment I cried at the state of it. It was so incredibly dirty I had never seen anything so disgusting. There was even a baking sheet sitting on the floor in one corner of the bedroom which to my surprise was covering a gaping hole in the floor that any number of small rodents or bugs could crawl through. I thought that security deposits went to cleaning and fixing the apartment after the previous tenant moves out but apparently not. The tub and bathroom were so disgusting that my boyfriend actually thought the tub was rotting away until he started scrubbing it to reveal it was actually intact and white under several layers of grime and dirt. After spending several hundred dollars on cleaning supplies and not being able to unpack for weeks after moving in, the apartment started to look decent.... But I think the worst part of living as a tenant under this company is how incredibly unhelpful and rude they are. When we first noticed the refrigerator was turning itself off and spoiling all of our food they replaced it almost immediately. This lead me to believe that we were in good hands. I was wrong. I reported to them that our entire kitchen cabinet was moldy due to a leak in the kitchen sink and that the unit needed to be replaced. It took OVER a month for the unit to be ripped out and replaced. Not only is this extremely unhealthy and dangerous living conditions, they seems to not care at all and were extremely rude to me on the phone. Yes they eventually replaced the cabinet and counter but they installed it crooked so that everything rolls off of it and they didn't replace the sink which is barely large enough to wash a dish in and still leaks. We recently found out that we have had a small gas leak coming from our stove for the entire year and a half we have been living here. National Grid immediately turned off the gas line but it took a week for the management company to fix the gasline so we could actually use the stove again. Apparently a tape that is supposed to be installed on the stove on installation was never put in place. I'm sure that it has been that way for years. Our kitchen pipes have froze several times this winter. In times of large rainstorms our basement floods and turns the pilot light out on our water heater thus rendering us without hot water until they decide to come fix it. Other problems in our apartment are: -squishy floors in the bathroom & kitchen where the wood is rotted -shitty stick on linoleum tiles that are peeling up throughout the kitchen -backyard patio floods -there are a total of 7 outlets in our apartment which makes no sense for a two bedroom. At least 3 of them are falling out of the wall or don't work unless wiggled repeatedly(there is only 1 outlet in the bedroom) -faulty wiring throughout the house, most lights for rooms are not in the actual room they work for -bathroom door doesn't close except in winter -the basement beneath us houses large amounts of trash as well as feral cats & rats(now my strictly indoor cat has fleas) -large holes throughout house near floor that have stealwool pushed into them The list goes on and on. Basically this company doesn't care about it's tenants at all. After living in this apartment for almost two years we JUST found out the name and number for our super who says he basically doesn't do anything helpful. Whatever you do, DO NOT rent from this company. My roommate and I read previous horror stories about this management company and thought to ourselves these could not be true, they are exaggerated etc.. - BOY were we wrong. We cannot even begin to list the numerous problems we have had with the apt we rented/ the management but here are some of the highlights. 1) The apartment was in shambles when we started our lease ( beer bottles, bugs, cockroaches, mud, falling walls etc.) 2) They failed to provide us with clean water, heat in the winter, and safe plaster to the wall 3) Every time we voiced our concerns to management, we were ignored and dismissed 4) Management showed up to our apartment unannounced, and last but certainly not least 5) They unfoundedly SUED US in housing court for non-payment of rent, which we were able to win and it was dismissed after months of fighting their ridiculous claim. As everyone else has mentioned, they are SHADY and untrustworthy. Do not rent from them, no matter how nice the apartment is. read more

I've been renting an apartment in Bushwick from Full Time Management. They are under the name DK Stockho LLC for my building, as well as various other named LLCs for their other apartment buildings. The management is extremely unorganized and uncommunicative, as well as rude when I've tried to have them make repairs to the apartments. They are completely unresponsive, ie, they do not take action when I call to report an issue. I have been trying for 2-3 months to have a leak and mold issues fixed.
