    This Management is Trash !!!! Work slow never follow up This is mistake in my life to signed apartments with them. Bathroom and light everything in apartments never be fix even tell them to fix it . It been take 1 months to get done . I wish I could give them Zero star

    Be prepared to live in squalor--filthy, deteriorating buildings managed by YHT. They REFUSE to clean or maintain their buildings after a year of constant maintenance requests. If you ask for basic cleaning of shared spaces they say "they informed the cleaner" but nothing ever happens. Sharing photos to warn others and make sure that this will pop up if someone searches YHT. THIS IS THE CONDITIONS THEY FORCE THEIR TENANTS TO LIVE IN- soot-covered floors, dangerous spills, roaches, mold. They take advantage of good people, harassing for rent while letting their buildings rot. I pray one day New York City makes an example of these criminals- a truly evil, heartless company making their tenants ill with their unsanitary and toxic buildings.

    DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!! I moved out at the end of August and my security deposit is nowhere to be found. This is one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had in my life. Anytime I call, it just so happens that the manager or higher up is "not there" or "not available". They have literally been giving me the run-around for months regarding my security deposit. I feel bad for any employee that has to work here because they literally have no power over anything. With my frustration I obviously wanted to raise hell but because of the poor/lack of management there was higher in the office for me to raise hell to which is alarming because how the fuck are they running a company without a manager or supervisor there at all times??? Today(October 27th) they tried to Scan my check online so I can deposit it. But the checks were absolutely useless. It didn't work because whatever they sent me wasn't a real check. Attached is the email thread where they blatantly lied to me repeatedly and if you pay attention to the dates you'd see that I've been waiting months for this check. I have not received the thing and they refused to send it via express shipping. I've never felt the need to go online and write a negative review until this experience. Because of the time zone difference I literally have to wake up at 6 am to actually speak with somebody, otherwise they don't answer and they take forever to answer their emails. I was a very good tenant and I was always on time with my payments so there is no deductions with my security deposit. This company is just cheap and lacks the proper management to actually get shit done. I would honestly love nothing more but sue them because obviously what they are doing is illegal. This company needs to be shut down. Also this has nothing to do with my security deposit but I was renting a room not an entire apartment. It was me and three other girls however at the end of August, two of us moved out. And management required the other two girls to find replacements for us or else they would get kicked out. Which is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard especially since it was a shared spaces apartment so we didn't know each other prior to moving in. They were given extremely late notice and had to scramble to find people to move in. And although I cleaned my room before I moved out the other girl did not and left her room and the worst condition I've ever seen(smell and all). I'm not sure how she was able to live there but regardless the company did not want to send a cleaning crew to clean her room prior to my other roommates having to show our rooms. Therefore one of the girls is left having to clean her super disgusting ass room so it would look good enough for another tenant to consider moving in. The moral of the story is stay away from this bum ass company. They will keep your money and stress you out.

    Alright. I see that I am the only person having issues with this management company…read more So, I was residing at 10 Hillside Ave for a year. Got a lease renewal letter in which they proposed an 11% to 12.5% increase on my lease. A month and a half before the lease ended, I sent them a polite letter that informed them my desire to end my lease. The letter also included the address where they could send my security deposit. I moved out on 8/30/14 (the last day) and gave my keys to the super (I had initially called him and he was aware that I was moving out before month end - he said, something to the effect of "oh. You are the person moving out of 3#"). It has been five weeks after my move/almost three months after my sent my letter and my security deposit has not been reimbursed. Wondering what is happening, I called the company. The person who picked up the phone was nice until I mentioned that I wanted to know about my security deposit. She immediately changed her mood and asked me if I had sent a letter requesting it. I said that I had sent a letter before the lease ended and she responded (in a very awful tone) that the letter had to be sent after I moved out. She also claims that she does not know how long this process take (mind you, this is the same person I spoke to when I initially started the lease - so, she's been there for almost a year). I also mentioned to her that I am a native New Yorker and I have moved a lot, but this was the first time in which my deposit was pending a written request that I was never informed about. Anyway, I said I would send the letter today and she abruptly hanged up on me. I can't believe how rude she was! She probably is one of the owners of this company because I can't see how a reputable business would keep employed someone so rude to their customers. I wish I could give zero stars.

At this point almost 5 years after a lot of the comments I've been reading; this company hasn't changed much. It is January 30th, 2015 and the heat and Hot water issues are STILL a Problem on top of Every other issue. It is 6:41AM and I cannot sleep because of how stressed out I am due to my living conditions. I have been writing reviews Everywhere I possibly can since about 5:10am. At this point I am exhausted and will be pursuing legal Actions against this company. I am beyond tired of living in the conditions I am living as if I am some sort of less than human where my bathroom ceiling has been opened for almost 2 weeks now. The department of housing came in and has reviewed the conditions I am currently living In. The conditions are so severed they have given them 3 days to resolve the issue and They Still don't care. The staff in their Brooklyn office is just the worst type of costumer service I have received in all my years interacting with people in general. There's an older Lady that everyone says she acts the way she does simply because of her aged where she's very disrespectful when you call. As a friendly advise to the shareholders this is no way of running a business even if she's a family member, she's driving people Away from your business. She hangs up the phone "If you are taking too much of her time" they are always bouncing you around from the Brooklyn office to the Manhattan office and vice versa. Leon I belive is the name of the person in charge of leases is Never available and is ALWAYS in a meeting, he never picks up a call, they tell you to call back at around 3pm every single day when you call back, "Leon is Gone for the Day". I have been in this apartment now on my 3rd year and I have never been the type on tenant to complaint but at this point this is not only unacceptable but inhuman to think is ok to have us live under these conditions. City has given them 3 days due to the severity of the issue.

    ok so I don't really write reviews but felt like i should for these guys. I have 2 properties in NJ…read more(one in kearny area, one further out) and was having a really hard time keeping up with everything especially the compliance stuff which honestly goes over my head half the time. Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Would def recommend to other landlords in NJ especially if your portfolio is growing and you cant manage everything yourself anymore. 5 stars from me
