The clock is probably close to twenty years old and had been alternating losing time for a number of years, intermittent hip swinging, or neither working at all. Dennis gave it a look see and determined just as I thought, that it needed a new mechanism. Sounded like a simple enough fix, which he confirmed, however that new part is super expensive. He suggested if a new clock is available online that's less than the cost of a fix to go that route. A quick Google and bingo, it would be more than half the cost of what that replacement piece would be. He could have not even offered that suggestion, but he's an honest broker. In my book, that's priceless!

They quoted a price to come out and service it. Quote was reasonable so we set an appointment. They took the main interior works with them to clean, oil, and fine tune. After 4 weeks they emailed and set up an appointment to reinstall it. After installing the works it failed to chime after they left. They came back in a timely manner and made a minor adjustment. Since then it runs perfectly and is keeping time to the minute. The service performed was a great value to us. Having our clock run was very important to us. Glad we found them. The best way to contact them is by email. Good people.
