Between the initial estimate and the final days of the job ending I changed my mind and added a few more major areas to this project and the crew accepted my changes and adjusted their schedules to still accommodate my current project while still keeping any new client jobs to start on time. This was very important to me that they were very flexible with my changes. We really appreciated their recommendations since this is their expertise and their help really made our changes come together. Our project consisted of electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, flooring, interior and exterior doors and windows. We would definitely recommend this company!!

Gary's drywall work seems solid, and his suggestion that we add more outlets while we had the walls open was great. In 5 working days, he only arrived as schedule twice, texting me in the morning to change his mind about the other 3 days. He left the room half-painted with a partially disassembled and broken closet door frame. He wanted more money to finish the painting but never provided an estimate for that, either. He also left a trash bag as big as my garbage bin that will take several weeks to throw out with my usual trash. After he saw my poor review, he reiterated that he didn't think he was obligated to finish the painting, but offered to anyway. This was the 4th time he said he'd paint it. By then I had lost faith in Gary, and was working with another painter.

We hired Four Piers for the job and were so glad we did. The team was able to start right away and everything got done smoothly and relatively quickly considering the challenges with the stormy weather. The roof looks as good as new and the new fence, paver patio and steps are even better than what we had previously. The Four Piers crew was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also gave us a very fair price, which allowed us to stay within the insurance company's budget. We will definitely contact Four Piers again if we need any additional work done to our house or outdoor area. We are thankful to Four Piers for helping us turn a challenging situation into something much nicer in the end. We look forward to enjoying our new outdoor space!

During our initial walk through, Ben emphasized the fact that he pays all of his employees fair wages. We probably could have found someone to to the job for cheaper, but this was a major selling point for us. Knowing up front that the people working in our home every day were happy (enough) to be there and taking pride in their work helped seal the deal. Salvador was our foreman, and he was on site almost every day that work was happening. He was very responsive any time we texted with questions, and was always willing to talk things through when decisions had to be made. We were new to working with a contractor, and there were bumps in the road and some curveballs throughout the process, but we were able to figure them out as we went. My husband and I worked from home almost every day during construction, and the whole crew could not have been more pleasant to be around. They were incredibly respectful to us and our neighbors the entire time. We'd never done a remodel like this before, and it was such a good experience that Kimmich Construction would be our first call if we had anything similar in the future.

I've kind of been procrastinating on this review simply because it won't be short! Ha! Initially…read moremy husband had one of those 'Honey Do' lists that included remodeling our front bathroom. C'mon, how difficult can it be? So we do the demo and find old damage to the framing of the shower and dry rot. Okay I agree we need to call in the professionals. We found Premier through the Diamond Certified booklet and gave Richard a call. When I explained what we wanted Richard said could take on the job immediately and he would provide an estimate. I thought the estimate he came back with was high since we had already done all of the demo. Including getting the beast of a tub out. All I wanted was a frame-less shower, tiled walls, floor, and paint. How can that cost so much? But we needed the bathroom done and they could begin immediately. More about that later. Richard promised the job would be done in two weeks which made us happy since we only had one to use and even with only two people it is tough. Richard came by every morning during the project to check on the progress. Federico and Angel were friendly and arrived early each morning and worked late into the day. They were even 'cheerful' while they worked laughing and chatting with each other. No grumpiness here. At the end of each day I took pics and was very impressed with the progress and how it was all coming together just like I imagined. About the finished bathroom. We really could not be happier. The tile work in the shower is impeccable. They tested the water tightness overnight before beginning to even lay down the shower floor. The floor is sloped so the water will drain properly and not puddle. They added a light/fan combination that wasn't there before and moved electrical outlets to accommodate fixtures. I felt really bad for Federico because he had to go into our attic on a very hot day to hook up the exhaust fan which we did not have before. They even had to shave off the bottom of the original door since the tile floor was higher than the old vinyl floor. My only caution to anyone who uses Premier is to get the shower door factored in early in the project. Like day one. It affects everything including tile and paint. Premier does not do the shower doors which requires getting a bid and conversation from a different contractor. We would have definitely made a few different decisions if we'd talked to the glass guy upfront. Getting back to the cost. We did have to pay for the tile and other materials. I will say that based on the level of effort, the quality of the work, and the finished product, that both my husband and I felt like Richard had underbid this project and we ended up with a product that could/should have cost quite a bit more. Am I complaining? No, we just felt like we were committing a crime. We now have a 'showroom' quality bathroom for the cost of a standard bathroom that will last for the life of the home. All on time and on budget! Thank you Federico, Angel, and Richard! I'll be calling for the other bathroom but please underbid that too! =0)

Extremely Poor Experience - Lack of Accountability and Misrepresentation…read more We were assigned AMS by our HOA to repair extensive damage to our living room and kitchen caused by a major water leak from a common pipe. Unfortunately, working with AMS has been a nightmare. Our home has been left in a broken, partially demolished state for over six months with no meaningful progress. AMS consistently hides behind "contract terms" and "processes," yet fails to follow through on their own commitments. Timelines are repeatedly pushed with vague or fabricated explanations, and every promised start date has come and gone without action. For more than three months, we were explicitly told that materials were being procured. When it became clear that no materials had actually been ordered and we questioned the misinformation, the response was simply, "the past is past." This complete lack of accountability was shocking. Whenever we ask direct and reasonable questions, AMS redirects us to the HOA instead of answering--using this as an escape mechanism. At the same time, they provide the HOA with inaccurate or misleading updates to justify ongoing delays, creating conflicting narratives and leaving the homeowner stuck in the middle. Living in a damaged home for this long has caused significant stress, disruption, and financial burden. Communication has been poor, commitments have not been honored, and transparency has been completely lacking. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise against working with AMS, especially for time-sensitive or homeowner-impacting repairs. Accountability, honesty, and basic project management are severely lacking.
