History
Established in 1994.
Full Service Wellness began as a Massage Therapy pursuit in 1994. In 1997, Personal Fitness Training and Nutritional Counselling were added. With very recent advances in a multi-faceted treatment of Peripheral Neuropathy, that has been included, utilizing FDA-approved equipment, with excellent results. Many weekends are spent at long-distance races helping people with painful bodies to come up off the table feeling much better. The business has moved from Oakland to San Anselmo, a charming and active town. We still service clients in SF and the East Bay twice a week. There are so few reviews because I was listed as having a zip code in Lake Tahoe for 7 years without knowing I had a Yelp page!
Meet the Business Owner: Robert A.
I've been interested in fitness since I was a kid and have always been active. I won a Marine Fitness contest at 15 by doing 1,300 situps, 35 pushups, and 15 pullups. I ran track in high school. In college, I ran, dove, wrestled, did gymnastics, danced, learned judo, and lifted weights. While in another business for 20 years, I studied martial arts with some outstanding teachers beginning in 1972. I won a World Championship in T'ai Chi Push Hands competition in Taiwan. I competed in the First Internet Bodybuilding Championships in 2001. I completed a Tough Mudder in 2013.
I am fascinated with the workings of the human body and want to know everything I can to keep it going. I started studying nutrition in 1970.
In alignment with my goal of becoming the World's Oldest Living Healthy Person, I continue to learn and practice optimal health and wellness techniques. I hope to achieve 100 continuous pushups (my record is 98).
