It had been all over social media, so after exploring the Temple Bar area, we decided to give it a try. Big mistake walking in without a reservation
"Do you have a reservation?"
"No."
"Sorry, sir."
...and that was it.
We ended up going to a restaurant across the street. But the hype stuck with me. The next day, I tried booking--no luck again. Still, I wasn't ready to give up.
We reached around 12 PM and got lucky this time. There was a small window between 12-1 PM, and the owner said, "You'll have to finish before 1." Fair enough--we took it.
The place is small, beautifully done with Thai-style décor, and very clean. The menu is extensive--honestly, choosing what to order is the hardest part.
What we ordered:
Tom Yum Soup (Chicken): Spicy, but absolutely incredible. Packed with flavor--easily 5/5
Pad Kee Mao (Chicken): Just as good, full of bold flavors
This is one of those meals you keep thinking about even after your trip ends.
Service: Only two people (likely the owners) managing everything, so it was a bit slow--but understandable.
Overall: Totally worth the hype. 4.5/5 read more
