Greats staff in Vancouver. The pub is super fun, inviting, and the Guinness just tastes better. Try the Rueben when you go, it's unparalleled. It's a small team running the bar but serve everyone at in a timely manner and keep up the fun energy.

Kind and multitasking bartenders both times I have visited. Excellent "half and half" poured beautifully. Loved the Guinness Stew! Just delicious! I'll try the Cottage Pie (it's the Guinness Stew with mashed potatoes instead of garlic bread) next time for sure. Just loved the feeling of this place. Feels like a bar you would go to at the end of the day in Dublin.

    Full Heart Irish Pub

Full Heart Irish Pub is super charming! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the NFL game, the drinks and the Christmas decor. The Cottage Pie and the Reuben's were scrumptious . Our server was awesome, my only suggestion is to get her some help! (Two people would be ideal).

When I asked about the order, the male KJ was dismissive, and the female KJ repeatedly stated that I was lying about signing up earlier. Two friends confirmed to her that I had not been lying, but she continued to insist otherwise. I spoke with the owner to explain the situation. Later, after leaving Underbar and going to Tip Top, the same KJ arrived there. I approached her to express that I did not appreciate being called a liar. She then represented the interaction as if I had been harassing her, which was not accurate, as I had arrived at Tip Top before she did. Overall, the situation was handled unprofessionally by the karaoke staff, and the interaction was unnecessarily confrontational.

It was relatively quiet for a Thursday at noon, but the area is undergoing major street improvements which is likely to affect crowds. It was open seating and we had plenty of choices to choose from. Service was prompt and guardedly friendly. I ordered the nachos because, when faced with a choice that includes nachos, I always choose nachos. They were on the cold side. As I got deeper into the nachos, I encountered a grey, slimy mush which I scraped off and ate around. We didn't have the menus any longer and I couldn't recall if it had beans or meat. I didn't mention it to our server because I wasn't able to look at the menu until I got home. I realize now that was supposed to be the guacamole. I'm all for reducing food waste and I know avocados are expensive, but this was not the nacho dish I thought I was paying for and not something I would want to eat again. We split our bill in half and noticed that there was an additional credit card surcharge on each of our slips. It was not called out to us when the we paid and neither of us could recall seeing that charge specified on the menu, but we didn't look that closely. Considering the other positive reviews, it's possible we hit an off day, but given our experience it's not likely I will return.

Intentionally set earlier in the day understanding the significance of the day. (Been together over 20 years.) When we arrived my husband kindly requested a window table with view of the water. The woman taking the reservation info advised that she would try, but "so busy" etc. We were sat at a half circular booth that was facing water but set back from water. I just want to note there were 7 tables open at window seating. 3 of which were 2 tops. We did have 3, so essentially for us, 4 EMPTY tables could have accommodated our request. 2 remained empty the entirety of our meal. So I just can't understand why this request wouldn't be granted. Waitress we were assigned was amazing. On top of things, refills etc. We got the wing appetizer, cheese curds, and the wedge salad as appetizers. They were all good. The wings I would get with no sauce. The sauce on them was very ketchup reminiscent. For the entrees we both did the steak frites. Fries were amazing. The steak was sooooo tough. Medium rare didn't save them. Our child got the half pizza and demolished. For dessert we got the cookie with ice cream and the valentines special cheesecake. Both were delicious. Overall 3.5. Could use some help at front. If you don't realize you have that many free tables and could easily accommodate a paying customer the table they prefer, it just simply doesn't make sense. At the end, I did ask manager why we wouldn't be able to sit where we requested and there really was just no good reason. It was just a shrug like it was a busy day. Like I guess maybe saving for make believe guests?? LOL unreal. It's not often I would question things. But this was just absurd. Again, I need to say, our waitress was amazing. Food was fine. Just a very weird experience as far as seating. Like who are you saving those seats for?? Anywho. Enjoy!

There's also a parking garage where you get a ticket, then pay on your way out. Parking costs about $3.30/hr, including fees. I made reservations online and requested a window table with a view. Our table was ready when we arrived and it had a gorgeous view as requested. My only gripe is they didn't do anything special for my friends birthday, even thought I noted we were celebrating a birthday on the reservation. A bit disappointing, especially since this place is pretty expensive and I'm sure many pick this area for celebrating. They have a new lunch pairings menu that's decently priced. They have quite a few options for $17. My friend ordered the beet salad entree for $17, and added a chicken breast for $8, which seemed pretty steep for chicken. The salad ended up being $25. She said it was delicious. My Caesar salad was one of the best I've had. The dressing had great flavor, not too tangy or fishy. The club was delicious as well. We were both very happy with our food. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive. Our server kept the water carafes coming and we never had to ask for anything. She was patient while my friend and I were catching up. Overall a much better experience this time compared to last time. Unfortunately I couldn't give 5 stars because of the lack of birthday acknowledgement and price of a chicken breast. Would recommend though.

I had the blueberry cooler from the happy hour menu and it was just five bucks, and very refreshing.
