    Ruvin's Breakfast

We looked up brunch spots near us and went to the closest one... and we are so lucky it was Full Goods Diner!! This was a fabulous diner in such a cute area. We walked around the plaza while we waited for our table and had such a good time. We got sat at the bar and that was another lucky moment because we then got to talk to the bartender Cody. He was a gem. He was funny and attentive and told us what we needed to order. He solidified our 5 star experience. They really season their foods in a really delicious and unique way. Really cool vibe on the inside too and staff is 10/10. I will say I did not love my Bloody Mary but they have great matcha. I'm going to be thinking about my breakfast burger for quite a while...

Came in for family brunch and was very pleased to try Full Goods Diner for the first time. The place was packed and I was glad we made reservations. After being seated and going over the menu, I start off with a Chai tea latter along with the cinnamon croissant, fall pear coffee cake, and biscuit basket to share with the table. The chai tea latte was made just right and the cinnamon croissant just melted in my mouth...yummy. The coffee cake and biscuits were also very tasty and very pleasing. For my main course, I order Ruvin's Breakfast. The plate comes with potato wedges, scrambled cheese eggs, barbacoa and beans. The barbacoa was nice tender and juicy while the beans were well seasoned. The potato wedges were thick, crispy and moist on the inside. Overall, I really enjoyed coming in to try Full Goods Diner. It was disappointing to hear that they will close at the end of the year (12/31/25). If you can, try them before the close for good.

Went here for lunch during the week day & it was very lovely! We didn't have a reservation, but I'm sure on the weekend you would want to make one! Even during the week day, there was quite a bit of people here. Our server was very friendly & offered good recommendations. The portion sizes were great & everything came out timely & tasted amazing. However I would say for the chicken biscuit & gravy, there needs to be a bigger portion of gravy. They do charge for extra. But besides that everything was great!!

    The Ruvin was delicious!

We were fortunate enough to stop in for lunch during their "spring break" week. There was a festive atmosphere with bubble blowing event for families, upbeat music and half price cocktails all week. We had the migas, ruvin, empanada, carajillo, mimosa and rice crispy treats. Everything was high quality and delicious! My husband had the ruvin and I was a little jealous because it was so flavorful. The crust on the empanada was perfectly flaky! Our server wasn't the best but we interacted with 4 other employees and they were all amazing. Full Goods Diner is on our list of San Antonio favorites!

What a great find in the pearl! The service was exceptional! Had a party of 8 and they were berry attentive to our table! Very clean and cute place for a good brunch. Their biscuits were crunchy on the outside, yet soft and warm on the inside! The hubby and I shared their full breakfast, blueberry pancake, 2 eggs and bacon. I asked for over easy eggs and sadly they turned out over hard. I wanted the empanada but they only had one left and I let my friend have it, but it was really good! Super flaky and the filling was great! I tried the avocado toast and it was a great light breakfast. Besides the over hard eggs and not having the empanada, it still was a great experience! A must try for breakfast at the pearl!

I was not super hungry but I met up with friends for brunch on a Sunday. It took less than an hour to seat eight people which is a win in my book. It was vibey inside and the staff was courteous. Not pictured but get the hibiscus agua fresca. It's the best drink they have there. Definitely will be back.

Classic Breakfast with Cheddar Hash Brown

Stopped by this diner for brunch with my travel buddies before leaving for our next city. Located at the historic Pearl Brewery complex, the way they reutilized the space is pretty impressive. Reservation is highly recommended and sitting outside is definitely the move on a nice day under an umbrella. I ordered the Classic Breakfast ($18) which comes with a maple sausage, buttered toast, two eggs, and potato wedges. I substituted the potato wedges for a Cheddar Hash Brown (+$3.00). Overall this was a very satisfying meal. Service is fantastic. One of my friends food was forgotten and came out after we pretty much all finished our meals. They were nice enough to make that meal complementary for their mistake. Besides that hiccup, the waiter is very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend this spot.

We put our name down on the waitlist and were told 45 min-1 hour since we went during peak brunch time, and there was a market going on outside too. But, we ended up getting really lucky because a reservation was cancelled, so we were seated within 15 minutes. It's really cute inside with a lot of half circle booths alongside regular tables, and I loved the artwork on the walls. It felt cute and casual at the same time, which is the perfect vibe for brunch. I got the green chilaquiles, and it was so limey and crunchy and acidic and delicious. I loved it and would definitely get it again. The sunny side up egg was also made to perfection, so it was runny in all the right ways. I will say it took at least 30 minutes or more to get the food, but they delivered on flavors, so the wait was worth it.

So I've been wanting to try this place for a while since I love hanging out at the Pearl and It's always packed. So, I finally made it in for a self care day to myself. The place and vibe is nice nothing outrageous and the music selection was on point. But the food at best was a solid 3 and nothing above that. I got the standard breakfast and the toast was slightly hard and not good. The breakfast sausage was tuff and oddly thin and I had better from Jimmy deans at Walmart. So all in all if you want something breakfast like and you're in the area try if you want for your own opinion. Oh and service was good no complaints while sitting at the bar.

Modern diner style in the Pearl. A mixture of tables and bar stools. I love that I can order breakfast all day. The service was really good .. helpful, timely and did not rush us. The food was superb. I had the migas with carintas on the side. I enjoyed every layer of flavor ... no one aspect drown out the other .. perfect! I am happy the green sauce was on the side ... it was hot! You have your choice of corn or flour tortillas.

Love the interior of Full Goods, the decor is very eclectic, modern, and homey. The food is excellent. Loved the chilaquiles. The portion was large and filling. We shared the paperboy pancake and it was the star of the show! Love the cornmeal savory aspect to it with the sweet contrasting maple butter and syrup. Our plates stacked up quite a bit while it was pretty slow inside...wait staff kept passing our tiny table up, and we really needed the space. I had to stack them and place them on the empty table next to us, which stayed there until we had to flag someone down for more coffee and to go boxes. It wasn't understaffed by any means. Tons of servers standing around, just not being helpful. Next time I'll likely get it to go.

    Texas Hash
    Brent L.

The food is okay, but nothing to brag about, based on the prices. We had the breakfast cheese enchiladas, which were decent but nothing memorable. The avocado tostada appetizer was fresh but pretty basic. There just wasn't enough flavor to stand out. The Texas Hash was probably the best thing we had, but even that didn't blow me away. They also automatically add a 3% Kitchen Appreciation charge to all checks, though they'll remove it if you ask. The biggest downside is how loud and busy it gets, especially on weekends. It's hard to enjoy a meal when you can barely hear the person across from you.

    Shannon W.

What a cute restaurant! Obsessed with the decor and vibe, loved that they actually have good food too! The iced strawberry matcha is so good. And they made my hash browns in the shape of an Easter egg. What's not to love?!

So on the way, I texted and requested the password. After a brief search and knocking on several doors, I realized the entrance is behind the restaurant in its own small parking lot. Look for the green light and avoid searching around like a weirdo, like me lol. Once inside, I found the interior is cozy with seating for couples, small groups and bar seating. We asked the mixologist to put his own spin on old fashions and he delivered. I'm addicted to the spicy cinnamon version that he created! The quail pops were a nice little appetizer although they could have used a bit more seasoning. I think the drink and app prices were very reasonable. Service was laid back and friendly. My only reco would be to maybe put a bit more thought into the vintage decor and secret restroom. The restroom lock was hard to figure out, especially after a drink or two lol. Overall this Speakeasy is a great spot to add a bit of intrigue to your evening.

Morrissey hadn't graced San Antonio in over 10 years, with past cancellations and postponements haunting fans along the way. So when he finally returned, San Antonio Moz fans showed up and showed out. Despite multiple after-party options across the city, fans from Brazil, the UK, Canada, Japan, and all across the U.S. chose Bang Bang Bar as the place to be on a cold Saturday night. Hosted by local emcee Ricardo Moz and Apollo DJ, the night turned into one for the history books. Bang Bang Bar is easily one of Texas' best dive-lounge bars...the perfect blend of gritty and cozy. Great cocktail program, solid beer selection, and a vibe that just works. The décor leans heavy into a 1950s-60s lounge aesthetic, with intimate spaces like the Blue Room and Yellow Room, perfect for groups of 7-10. Low lighting, warm atmosphere, and zero pretension exactly what you want for a night like this. Bang Bang Bar consistently supports local and touring acts, spanning punk, alternative, and DJ-driven nights, and this Moz Smiths Disco was no exception. It was wall-to-wall classics all night long. Major credit to Phanie and the Bang Bang Bar management they rolled up their sleeves, brought in extra bar staff, and handled an overwhelming crowd like pros. Fans waited up to 45 minutes in the cold, with a line wrapping around the building, and the energy inside never dipped. As the host of Panic On The Streets, I'm incredibly thankful to Bang Bang Bar for helping us pull off one of the best after-parties we've done in years.
