The gates were done right, which gave a boost to my ego as my neighbors asked about my beautiful "new" gates. :) For those who are more technical or want more detail...here it is. The original wood slats of my gates were installed by the builder. Unless you have a custom home, chances are, those original wood slats are just not meant to last. I started a bid to either replace the gates or just change out the wood slat (to composite wood). Most of the vendors rather just change out the whole gate with preinstalled composite wood slats and do not bother with swapping the wood slats. In many cases, it is necessary to change out the entire gate. Ryan, however, is the only vendor who offered me with both choices - rehab the gate or change it out. Yes, he can do both. I am cheap so I went with the most economical method - rehab. After he is done, the gates look like new, and function like new. In fact, my landscaper thought I got a brand double gate, he couldn't tell this was a refreshment because in addition to the new composite wood slat (which will last a long time) the bolts & nuts are new, and the coating is new. We got one minor problem a month later - The composite wood slats, just like many other materials out there, contrasted and started to curve out (some worse than the others). Ryan came back out and adjusted it, no problem at all. This tells me he can be trusted and he stands behind his work even for a small job like mine. I would recommend Ryan to anyone who wants quality gate work done at a fair price.

Every door on display was absolutely beautiful, but the one we selected--the Santa Fe Iron Entry Door with Nail Heads, finished in Antique Bronze, with a twisted bauble-style handle--was the perfect complement to our pueblo-style townhome. One of our favorite features is the amount of natural light it brings into our living room. The space feels brighter and more inviting, and we especially love being able to open the glass portion of the door to let in fresh air while still maintaining security. The craftsmanship is exceptional. This door is incredibly solid and substantial--it honestly feels more like a vault door than a typical front entry door. The excuse given was "we don't do masonry" - then hire someone to do it. To make it worse, they originally agreed to send someone out to fix the pavers, only to retract on it. That alone should tell you that they know it's not an acceptable state to leave the project. How could you ever think this is an acceptable state to leave someone's gate?
