Tasty food and just really nice folks in an unassuming location. As another reviewer mentioned, they sweetly fussed over us like we were visiting family. We ordered beef udon, tempura idon, beef ramen, curry bowl, chicken bowl and chicken bento. We got to try the kimchee as well. Eating here is like going to Mom's kitchen. We swung by for dinner and my wife had a beautiful bento box and I had the curry chicken. Hot, fresh, smelled fantastic, and rivaled curry I've eaten in Asia. Beautifully prepared and portion/price is perfect. The owners fussed over us and without thinking I called her Auntie. My go to spot in Centralia for teriyaki. Their spicy chicken teriyaki is different; no glaze sauce on their chicken but a dish packed with spices and peppers. I come back for it every time. They also have a drive thru but I usually park street side and walk in. read more

We had a great experience here. The parking situation is odd, likely in part due to offering drive through service. Other than that the only thing we wish was different was the terriyaki beef, which either wasnt grilled or wasnt grilled to the point it charred. Could have been boiled for all I know. Everything else was fantastic, especially the terriyaki chicken and gyoza. From order to food arriving at our table of six, it took maybe 10 minutes. Portions can feed two adults. Does this look like Ramen to you? There is literally NO broth in this because the noodles soaked it all up. Literally every ounce of the broth gone. But they told my son when he picked it up that it was made 5 minutes ago and that's how they make it. Ramen without a drop of broth? Really? Everything else we ordered was cold - yakisoba, egg rolls and tempura. All cold! This is the second time we have tried take out from them and not only did they fail again, they refused to refund our money for meals we don't want as we didn't order cold soggy noodles, cold tempura and egg rolls, and cold yakisoba. Very disappointing for a local place we have supported. No longer. Your inability to provide a dissatisfied customer a refund for unacceptable food will end up costing them much more, as we have been supporting our local restaurants with takeout once a week during Covid. We came in because I was craving some chicken teriyaki. It fast food but quality. The girl at the counter was quick and sweet. I didn't want any rice for my bowl so she had them do all veggies. The chicken was moist and delicious. My daughter got the tofu bowl. She said it was cooked to perfection. The portion size on the bowls are big! We also got the large platter. In all honestly, if you took everything out of the bowl and put it on a plate I think it would be the same amount of food except you get 2 extra tofu. I probably would order 2 bowls instead. Each comes with soup which was good. You can help yourself to free green tea too. The place is a bit rundown and the bathrooms are outside around the corner but I still think this place was a great find and the prices are awesome. read more

I had the chicken teriyaki with steamed rice and gyoza and it was so delicious! Next time I will ask for extra sauce because it didn't come with enough for my preference, but it was delicious! The salad was actually steamed cabbage with a bit of broccoli and it was also surprisingly fresh and tasty. The portions were huge and I had enough for two full meals and a midnight snack. Great food, good value. I didn't order chicken teriyaki so I can't truly evaluate this place. Instead, I got a combo of chicken katsu and tempura. It was a ten-minute walk back to my hotel and I expected everything to be a little soggy - that's just the way of the world and nothing to complain about. But it wasn't soggy. The tempura was in its own container, and there was a hole poked in the top so water vapor could escape. It wasn't as crispy as it would have been straight out of the fryer - the way tempura is meant to be eaten - but it was still crispy! Could I say that the batter was a little thicker than it would have been at a top Japanese restaurant? Sure. But just a little and I had no complaints at all. The chicken katsu was standard, but tender all the way through. Probably what they use for their chicken teriyaki, which is a great sign. There were two large cutlets with enough rice to feed three people. It was around $14, so not cheap, but I feel like I fully got what I paid for. I have a big appetite and only finished a third of the rice. It's hard to evaluate teriyaki spots against each other, because they have different strengths and weaknesses, and I can't fully evaluate this one after a single visit. But if my meal was of their typical quality, I'd rate Fuji among the top two or three of these places I've ever been to anywhere. Don't expect anything gourmet or some kind of secret foodie destination. It's still a teriyaki place like any other. Just a great one. I did not like the fact that they were playing religious music, but that's just something that goes with the territory now and then. read more

Have been hankering for Japanese food since I left San Francisco, CA and found this little gem! They have a drive up window as well as inside dining and take out. We ordered take out and it took about 20 minutes to get our food. I ordered the Chicken Bento Box and my husband ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. You get alot of food for the price!
