I went here with my fiancé about a week ago for a date night. Despite it being a super busy, they were able to see us immediately at the hibachi grill. The host, server, and chef were all very nice and accommodating! We felt super welcome, even though it was our first time there, they made us feel like regulars. We ordered the steak and chicken combination as well as a steak and shrimp combination for the hibachi. We upgraded to fried rice and everything was 10/10. For appetizers we also ordered the fried veggies tempura and salmon sushi. Both were great. Would deff come back again! read more

When food and service don't shine, it's hard to want to come back. As a group of 8, we stopped in for lunch. As the restaurant was quite empty, we were promptly seated at a Hibachi Grill table. We hadn't asked for this but it worked out well. About half of the people had the Hibachi Grill and half ordered off of the menu. I personally ordered off of the menu and selected the Teriyaki Steak Lunch Bento Box. Throughout the meal, it was apparent that there was either a communication gap or rather a poor server. Throughout the meal, many things were forgotten or missed completely. People missing rice and the Hibachi Grill orders were incorrectly put in. So when the Hibachi "show" was over, several people were left wondering where half of their food was. This was then brought to them after the fact, once the mistake was pointed out. It was quite obvious that the Hibachi Grill Chef was not pleased with the Server about this. My Lunch Bento Box was lacking in every way. I understand fully that you get what you pay for. You're not expecting a 5-Star lunch here. But, I did expect better. The rice was lukewarm and gummy. The steak was void of flavor and very chewy. The addition of the teriyaki sauce did little to help the steak as it was thin and also quite flavorless. The tempura items within the box were cold and rubbery. Even down to the Diet Pepsi I ordered tasted off. Would I go back? Most definitely not, unfortunately. As I don't get any joy in writing bad reviews, this one was just hard to muster up any positive notes or even to call it "just a bad day". Too much on too many different levels went wrong. I can't imagine it getting much better. The staff was nice as was the decor of the standard restaurant area. As for our experience, every aspect was lacking. read more

We've been here several times, it is a favorite of my grandson's for his birthday. Service was just ok. Not a typical "show" and we had one party who had never been to a hibachi restaurant. We ate there last night (I am trying to be lenient since it was New Year's Eve). It was just my husband and me. However, we had a 5:30 reservation and waited ~ 15 minutes to be seated. Originally, we were seated at a hibachi table with six other people for a total of 8. First of all, we waited a very long time just for our drinks. Then after ~ 45 minutes, they sat another 2 people at our table for a total of 10 people! The other adjoining table in our small room was seated at least 35 minutes after we were seated and only had 7 or 8 people at their table and they got their drinks quickly and were actually eating their soup and salads BEFORE we were. Additionally, unfortunately, we FINALLY got our soup and salad at the same time and the soup was cold. To make things worse, it was cold outside and it actually felt like there was no heat in our room or in the entire restaurant for that matter. I had my winter coat on , as did many other people in the restaurant, and I was still very cold, even with the two chefs, side by side in our small room, preparing food at our tables with the grills turned on! Things did not get any better as the meal went on! My husband and I both ordered steak and chicken. I ordered my steak medium rare so I was served first. I got very few small pieces of meat - maybe ten, and three of them had no meat but all fat! GROSS! I did get an adequate portion of fried rice, however, I asked for double Yum Yum sauce but got both the brown sauce, which I do not eat, and only one Yum Yum sauce! When the chicken was ready, I also got very little chicken but a few more pieces than steak. Then, it was time for the vegetables to be served. Well, once again, I was served first, and again, with 10 people at our table, I got very few veggies with mostly big pieces of onion, which I do not like, so I put them on my husband's plate. The only thing left after that was one piece of broccoli and three small pieces of zucchini! Pathetic! We had to also ask for a drink refill. Our total bill was around $80 including tip. Normally, we like Fuji, however, this meal was a horrible experience and not worth the money at all. When you seat 10 people at a table you need to increase your portions incrementally and not start out with the same portions as you would for a smaller table. Additionally, I also learned instead of ordering two meats like steak and chicken that I will order one meat with scallops so I get a designated number of scallops instead of a very small portion of meat that is unevenly divided up between multiple people! I will never come here again on New Year's Eve and may never return again. read more

From the beginning the service was horrible and ruined the dining experience. The hostess wasn't friendly at all. We decided to sit at a regular table, instead of the hibachi. It took at least 15 minutes for the waiter to come to our table. Our salads were frozen & disgusting. The waiter never came to check on us before bringing our main course. The food wasn't very warm & my husband said his New York strip steak hibachi was old. The steak wasn't even cooked correctly either. It's like the food had been sitting for quite some time. I don't know what's up with the bad reviews. The food was delicious. My roll was so good, which I was surprised. Habachi was the tits. My server was super sweet! I personally recommend coming over to try. I found it worth my money more so then going to cheddars. read more

This was once a fun awesome place. It's gone so far downhill. We waited 45 minutes before they even started cooking. The only seasoning they used for all meats and rice was salt and plain soy sauce that they drenched it all in. No ginger, no garlic just soy sauce. Our chef barely spoke a word. There was no "show", no saki, or shrimp tossing. The lettuce in the salad was so bitter we couldn't eat it, the miso used to be phenomenal , but it's changed too. I had to go to the bar for drink refills. It was terrible and my last trip there for Hibachi. The only saving grace here is the alcohol. The drinks are very reasonably priced at $6.25. read more

Portions are really inconsistent here. They gave me like 8 pieces of well done steak while this little kid got double the amount I got. Then the hibachi chef, just scoffed at me and told me to complain to the manager if I don't like it. Ok cool. Plus the food wasn't very good and I ended up getting my steak medium well instead of medium. Soup tasted like pure salt, the steak wasn't seasoned and the fried rice just tasted like soy sauce and butter - very one note. I'm sure it could be better if they hired better hibachi chefs. We come here often but today was a disaster. We arrived at 11am when they opened and that's when they decided to start cleaning the blinds. Dust was flying everywhere and every time i tried my food, I tasted cleaning supply's. I'm not too sure why they wouldn't do this when they were closed. read more

Ignore the terrible reviews, I'm pretty sure they don't know what they're talking about. They might not be serving Michelin star rated dishes here, but their food was delicious. Like most of my party we ordered hibachi chicken from the hibachi grill, the chef was entertaining and polite (understanding of some of the socially inept guests in our party). I can understand how some patrons may have issues properly communicating with some of the employees since it did seem like our waiter spoke English as a secondary language, but patience and understanding goes a long way. read more

super disappointed. we called ahead to express it was for a birthday. we came in with balloons and cake and even told our server and the cook it was her birthday. they never acknowledged it let alone sing to her. we barely saw our server, never got checked on, didn't remove the salad soup bowls we had to stack them on the corner. my cup had a crack in in because it leaked all over the table and I had to use everyone's one napkin to soak it up, i had to ask another tables server for a different cup but never got it. I shouldn't be surprised he showed up to give us the bill after everyone standing up and looking around because it had been awhile. I love coming to this place, but during this visit I was disappointed hence the 3 star. The wait staff- Julie was all great so I will rate her 5/5. She was very attentive, she was always there to ask if we are doing okay, and was efficient in taking our orders and serving our food. The food itself specially the beef bulgogi was a disappointment. It says it comes with vegetables and beef, but when it arrived it's all noodles that's overdone, some thinly sliced carrots and onions, I have to have my glasses on to really notice them. As for the rest of the food, nothing really special and rave about. The cold bibimbap lacks flavor, serving size was good & the presentation was very colorful and appetizing. I'm really torn if I want to recommend this place or not. Personally, I will not come back again because o know I can get better Japanese food elsewhere. I thin you come to this place because of the experience. Come here for the hibachi show specially if it's your birthday. We have been a few times and always pleased. The chefs are the best. They are funny and talented. The rice/meat/veggies are always DELICIOUS!! It's reasonable too. It's a fun experience if you've never tried hibachi. I was impressed with the server. We told her it was my daughter's birthday and she remembered! Yay! First off they simply do bad business. If they make a mistake no matter how big or little, they take no accountability and do nothing to rectify it. Me and my friend ate there for dinner today. We sat next to a family of three at the hibachi table. So we eat, it's fine. Then we get our bill. It's correct, we give our card. Then they bring back the bill after running the card and give us the wrong bill & wrong card. It was the family of three sitting next to us bill and card. The family had already left. With our card. So we go up and speak to a manger and explain what happened. And all she says is I'm sorry and worries about getting the right bill and having us fill it out. We mention to her to give our phone number so if the person comes back they can call us to get our card. She offers no discount or nothing for this major mistake. And to top it off, the male server tried to get us to fill out the bill so he would get tipped still knowing it wasn't our card or bill. I'm not sure what kind of restaurant thinks this is okay in the slightest and does nothing to even help the situation. read more

This was not worth the money for several reasons: 1) we ordered Filet and got Strip steak instead. This was brought to the attention of the manager and he went to the back and brought out a perfect platter with perfectly looking Filets and a standard strip on a platter to show what a filet vs. strip looked like (as if I was a city boy.) I will attest, the filets we were served, were long/skinny/ deranged and looked nothing like the "standard display model". 2) Before the meal my mother went to the restroom and noted no toilet paper. She brought it to the attention of the hostess. 3) After the meal my wife went to the same restroom, only to see that over an hour later there was still no toilet tissue. 4) don't get me wrong, I would eat here again, but only as a last resort. We didn't get seated until 8:30. We didn't get our drink order until 9:15. I have no idea what happened to this place but they better figure it out soon. I thoroughly enjoyed my second visit to Fuji's. My boyfriend and I met another couple there on a very busy Saturday night. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated, which was fine. The service was on the slower side, but we didn't mind because we weren't in rush. We ordered the dinner special for two and it was very tasty. This consisted of lobster tail, shrimp, scallops, and filet mignon. It also came with fried rice and the mixed vegetables. My favorite part was the scallops-they were perfectly cooked. Our chef was friendly and interactive with everyone. He flipped pieces of zucchini to each person for you to try and catch it in your mouth. He also had a squeeze bottle of sake that he sprayed in anyone's mouth that wanted some. These were elements that I had not seen at another hibachi before! We had a variety of chicken, shrimp and steak within my party and everyone said the food was awesome. Okay, how the actual heck are people giving this place 1 star. I blows my mind. I been all around the world. 20 different countries, so many plates of sushi that got stuff in my mouth, and yet this is one of my all time favorite restaurants. They people that work here are very nice, and do an excellent show. It always a full on experience seeing them cook the food. They play games with us, do cool tricks and more. Everyone that works there is extremely trained. Never one I had a bad time in Fuji's. The food has always been a 10/10 with the amazing miso soup, salad, and the Sushi being amazing. The last time I went there, me and my dad had a HUGE plate full of sushi, and not a single roll we disliked. I go there a lot for my birthday as well and they make sure to make the day special. 10/10 restaurant, needs more love. Maybe the only complaint I have is that it can be a little loud, but there is a sushi area with a quiet atmosphere if that is too much for peeps. This restaurant needs more love! read more
