Fudge n stuff is a placr I always have to stop at when we go down to Montauk. I always look forward to their rainbow cookie fudge but sadly they haven't had it the past 2 times I went. This prompted me to try the mint chocolate fudge which tastes like an andes mint. It was just perfect! The woman who owns the shop is lovely and she is passionate about making delicious fudge. I always have a great experience when I come here. Highly recommend stopping here when you are in Montauk. read more

Gonna go with 4 stars. Ice cream sundae is as real good - cherry vanilla with hot fudge and gummy bears. Little awkward when I asked for gummy bears as a topping and the woman started weighing them on a scale? She runs a tight ship! Convenient location and reasonable (for Montauk) prices. read more

Fudge N Stuff - a person holding a bowl of food - Candy Stores Near Me - Montauk, New York

Interesting little store off the beaten path. Thankfully GPS is great for finding fun stores. There is a sign on the door regarding service dogs, but I opted to leave said dog with SO in the car with the air running. There are so many choices for fudge. Prices are a bit high, but that happens in tourist areas. After a few days of tasting this fudge, I am happy I did get some. Purchased 4 different flavors. Also purchased some salt water taffy and found that to be tasty as well. There are many "penny" candy options along the wall if you don't want taffy or fudge. Go visit, bring lots of cash, enjoy the sweets. It's a tourist area, parking during high season may be an issue. read more

The lady who owns the store is super friendly. I could sample a lot of fudge. My favorite is the one with cappuccino. The red velvet is pretty good and so is the rainbow. The have reduced sugar version too but not as good as the regular kinds. Everything is great. Highly recommended it. Cash only. read more

Came here on our recent trip to Montauk for a nice fudge fix. They did not disappoint! Fudge was excellent. I purchased chocolate, rainbow cookie, red velvet and vanilla, although they offered plenty of other options. Each slice was super fresh and soft. Prices were affordable. Fudge N Stuff also offers candy and freshly popped popcorn. Check this place out! read more

It's rare to find such a special treat in a vacation town. We have been coming to Montauk for many years and one of the most special places is Fudge 'n Stuff. Not just making some of the best fudge we've had anywhere, but it has the extra ingredient of genuinely (sweet 'n) caring owners and employees. So friendly it brings back memories of how a candy store used to be run. After dinner, it's always a special treat! read more

Unfortunately I had a very discriminatory experience at Fudge n Stuff. I was told by the owner that my trained service animal was not allowed to enter the store. She did not ask me: * Is this animal required because of a disability? * What work or task has this animal been trained to perform? Instead, she proceeded to yell at me in a hostile voice that my dog (a trained service animal) could bite someone and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. As a person with a disability this is not the way myself or anyone in my situation should be treated. This establishment should be seriously investigated for this form of misconduct. read more

My friends and family members (35 in total) went into fudge and stuff during our Montauk vacation. The ice cream is good, however, the customer service is among the worst I've ever seen. Here are some examples: my daughter asked one of the woman for a sample and she stated, "come back tomorrow when you know what you want and when we don't have a long line." A rude response? Of course. Especially when the 30 people behind her were from our family! My nephew a short time later came up to counter and asked about the ice cream and his peanut allergy. The lady responded with the regular flavors are no problem. He received his ice cream but, asked for a clean spoon. She stated, "a clean spoon won't help you with your allergies." I believe that comment is even more obnoxious than the previous and it came from two different employees. Besides the extremely small serving in a cup for $5.50, how do you treat kids and kids with allergies and special needs like this. This is unacceptable treatment and we will not be back to Fudge and Stuff on our next visit. read more

What is a summer beach town without a good sweets shop for the kids? Fudge N Stuff fits the bill nicely. In a town not known for modest prices on anything, this place delivers with a $2.25 kids sized ice cream cone, a gazillion packaged candies, and chocolates by the pound (or fraction thereof). But clearly, the coup de grace is the cotton candy. Not just cotton candy... cotton candy made to order. I can't even get cotton candy made to order at most carnivals, circuses or fairs. They are all pre-made these days and shoved into bags, hours before you buy them. Can't blame the vendors per se, because making the stuff is such a mad sticky mess. BUT, Fudge N Stuff sells the real deal. And you can pick red or blue. Granted, the blue isn't terribly blue... but that's probably for the best. When you go, just be prepared to wait. And to be yelled at. Not in anger, mind you, it's just hard to hear above the roar of all the sugar-high kids. read more

My favorite ice cream place in Montauk. I have the ice cream taste of a 6 year old so I love getting a dish of cotton candy with gummy worms. Also gotten cones, sundaes, etc and have never been disappointed. Their fudge is great too. It's not a vacation in montauk if I don't stop in here 2-3 times during the week. Great spot. read more

Pros: -The fudge is to die for! I ordered a pound and got six different wedges in the box. Every flavor was delicious!! -The ice cream was amazing (though not as good at the fudge) I got the birthday cake and cookie dough flavor....so good! -The woman working there are SO friendly. When we came in they were dancing and having an awesome time, I almost dropped my bag and danced with them. Cons: -It's a cash only place, but that's pretty common of the entire era (other than the restaurants and big establishments.) read more

This is by definition a Montauk institution. Year in and year out it's there and consistently drawing a crowd. Whether it's for their ice cream or fudge, they do it well. Personal fave fudge is the chocolate peanut butter and rainbow cookie. It's cash only but hey that's all good. read more

We got a SMALL cone with soft serve vanilla. Waffle cone with two scoops. Both had some sprinkles. It came out to nearly $20 lol!!! That gets you 4 gallons of ice cream at IGA. read more

The fudge here is OUTRAGEOUS!! Better than the Jersey Shore (location not the show), Cape May and Atlantic City. The almond joy fudge was my favorite and the chocolate mint was my husband's. The chocolate vanilla swirl and chocolate marshmallow were also delicious. The only negative is that they don't take credit cards - cash only. Not too big a deal though, the prices are reasonable. read more

I'm not an aficionado on fudge, so don't judge. Hey, that rhymes lol. I just wanted to try the local goods, plus it smelled amazing in there. I got the pistachio, double dark chocolate sea salt caramel, and amaretto. My fave was the dark chocolate. Everything was way too sweet for me. I guess it's supposed to be? I'm not sure since it's not my area of expertise. Give them a try if you're into fudge. read more

Various flavors are available, original recipe of the owner, homemade , had a take out of the quarter pounder cream and butter for $4.95, smooth, sweet and creamy . It includes a mini-knife in the packet. The place sells ice cream, sundae and regular and old fashioned candies as well. Cute and charming small shoppe. read more

Fudge this year was terrible. Not creamy and tasted like chemicals.? What did they do to make it this bad after all these years? Also - the chocolate jelly rings were stale and inedible. What a disappointment! I hope they can figure it out. Geeezzz read more

I appreciate places that sell sugar-free fudge. My friends had been wanting to stop in here since we arrived in Montauk and I do LOVE fudge, however, regular fudge with a ton of sugar always makes me sick. We went in here and I expected not to find anything I could eat but then I saw a sugar-free section. The flavors are limited but all the basics are there. I went with the amaretto and yes, it did taste like amaretto fudge with sugar. Nothing was lacking and it didn't taste like cardboard. They also have a selection of ice cream, which one of my friends told me was tasty. There's also a wall full of different kinds of candy. Tons and tons of stuff for anyone with a sweet tooth. Prices are fair but they are cash-only. Thank you for making sugar-free fudge good again. read more

This place always kills my diet. And it's worth it!!!Rainbow cookie pistachio and peanut butter fudge are the best flavors in my opinion. No trip to the Hamptons complete without a stop at this institution. If you know you know read more

Many ice cream flavors to choose from, though portions are fairly small and the ice cream was melting before it even reached my hands. I really enjoyed the flavors I had but I had to eat it faster than I'd like to avoid the drip down the cone and onto my hand. They had too many people behind the counter when we stopped in - it was confusing - the person taking the order yells the order to the person at the register and different people behind the counter are taking different parties' orders so there is a lot of cross yelling. Can't speak to anything else in the shop as we popped in only for ice cream on our last night in town. read more

AMAZING !! The fudge is absolutely delicious and it's so fresh! I loved tried the rainbow cookie fudge and the mint fudge. They have so many options and I will be back soon to try more flavors ! read more

You guys were a bunch of pricks to my 4 year old ( one old lady and 3 younger workers). We were in to buy ice cream with our masks on. My daughters mask slipped down and one of your staff yelled at her to pull up her mask. Your rough delivery scared my 4 and 5 year old children. No reaction on our part but then as we are leaving the old lady throws out the old comment of make sure she doesn't eat it until your outside. Such a sad comment after we are supporting your business during this time. Side note : my kid clearly wasn't eating it while in the store. Real turd bags. We have been coming here for the last 10 years, get your act together and treat your customers with dignity. read more

When they advertise 30 different kinds of fudge, you can believe it! Wow! It really is homemade & fresh, too. Just the smell of this place-good gosh, it'll knock out your taste buds when you open the door. The staff are kind, patient & know their product well! It's our once a year sugar rush. Perfect pick me up after a day at the beach! When you come to Montauk, you have to stop here! Our favorites are pistachio, maple walnut, & caramel dark chocolate. There are also other candies & chocolates (like covered pretzels & covered s'mores-amazing!) you can buy if you make it past the fudge. Oh, almost forgot-who cares if they don't take credit cards?! If you are buying that much-you probably shouldn't be! Haha! read more

Wow, a fudge shop open late in Montauk! My friend and I stumbled upon this place after dinner Friday night and was surprised it was still open past 10pm. They have decadent array of fudges such as mud pie (which consists of caramel, oreo cookies, chocolate) to mint chocolate. I'm a glutton when it comes to desserts and I picked up this sucker the next day at 11am on my way to the beach. For 1/4 a lb, (which is about $4) one of the girls behind the counters slices you a an amazing piece of fudge wrapped in their cute Fudge N Stuff packaging. It comes with a little knife for you to slice into tinier pieces for you to share with your friends. Everything looked delicious and on the lower counter, they have sugar free sweets for your more health conscious friends. On the left side of the candy store, they have ice cream and on the shelves, they have little candy knick-knacks to satisfy your sweet tooth. All fudges are made in their own kitchen so you know it's good and made with love. However, make sure you have cash as it's cash only. read more

The fudge and ice cream at Fudge N Stuff is delicious. My only concerns with this place is the employees can be a little rude. For example, one time I asked for a new piece of fudge because my boyfriend who is severely allergic to gluten ordered plain chocolate and since they didn't wipe off the knife there was oreo from another type of fudge all over his piece. The woman seemed really annoyed and I basically had to fight her to give me a new piece with no cross-contamination. There's actually a law in New York that makes it unlawful for her to say no to a new piece, which she was completely unaware of. Also, one time while getting ice cream I asked for a cup of tap water and they tried to charge me $1.50. I'm pretty sure there's law against charging people for tap water as well. So they were definitely trying to rip me off. In conclusion, don't ask them for water and be careful if you have allergies but otherwise the food is tasty. read more

Fudge N Stuff - Candy Stores Near Me - Montauk, New York

Forget the "stuff" and go for the fudge! This cute little store has a great array of fudge that it was so hard to choose. I didn't realize that we could get an assortment of them, even in a 1/4lb box, until we saw someone do it after we bought it but my toffee fudge was out of this world! They do have some sugar-free options, which is good when you have a diabetic in tow. Her amaretto fudge was tasty - I didn't expect something sugar free to taste as good! Cash only. read more

I was there over the weekend and it was cool to find a shop open until 11 in Montauk! Although we didn't try the fudge, we did have the ice cream. Peanut Butter and vanilla was so decadent and delicious. Cake Batter and Cotton Candy was also better than I've tasted in other ice cream shoppes. The charm of the store was also in the colorful containers of candy that surrounded the walls. It was a nice treat different from the chain ice cream shoppes. read more

The ice cream I had was very good, however beware of being overcharged ! $20.00 for a small and a medium ice cream is just not right

This store is an adorable fudge, candy and ice cream spot located slightly off the main downtown street in Montauk. The store is the definition of a mom-and-pop store - most all of its treats are homemade and the staff is delightfully friendly. The birthday cake ice cream was the best type of ice cream. It contained chunks of actual cake, gobs of icing and a scattering of real rainbow sprinkles. Almost all of the other ice creams did not taste sweet - the taste of cream and ice overpowered any other sort of flavoring or sweetness (which is why this place gets 3/5 stars). While ice cream might be most appealing, especially on a hot summer beach day, the real gem at this place is the selection of fudge. Above all, the birthday cake fudge was the best treat in the whole place. Like the birthday cake ice cream, the fudge contained pieces of cake and sprinkles. The mint chocolate fudge was a second best. I would recommend this place if you are craving fudge, chocolate covered goodies and/or candy or if you want to get an edible gift/souvenir for someone. For ice cream, however, this place is not the best option in town. read more

I didn't even think I liked fudge till I came here. Do youself a favor and get a block of MUD SLIDE. Milk chocolate, oreos, caramel, nuts... HOLY FREAKIN GOOD. I wish I can sink my teeth into it and nibble on it all day long. I heart you. read more

The ice cream is overpriced and disgusting; I could not even finish my small peach cup. You know the texture and taste of ice cream when it melts and gets refrozen and there's this weird ice false sweetness? If you like that melted pseudo freezer burn texture and fake-sweet-too-brightly-colored taste, then this is the perfect place for you! They should really reconsider the "stuff" part of their store and stick to their fudge. My boyfriend and I only tried the ice cream, but I hope for Fudge N Stuff's sake that their fudge is better than their ice cream. read more

The fudge is very good, but the " stuff" is the X factor. The ice cream cones and sundaes seem to be the big hit. There always seems to be a line. They off some non-routine flavors such as pistachio and coconut which is a nice change. My son was a fan of the hot fudge sundae. read more
