Went this past Saturday for a massage. He asked where I wanted the most attention. I said shoulders, neck and feet. He was ok but when massaging, would stop and barely move his hands at times which I thought was odd as it was wasting time. Then when the massage was basically over he spent 30 seconds on my feet!!! I've been going for express facials for quite a while. Typically they are 30-45 Minutes with a scalp and neck Massage. This last time it was 20 minutes long with no massage, I left with product still on my face. I don't know if they changed the policy to make them shorter. But $100 for 20 minutes is insane. I've been here twice this month (facial & massage) and have had great experiences.. the lobby is decked out for the holidays .. the relaxation room is cozy.. Today I had a 60min massage with Louie .. I definitely needed the 90min session.. relaxing deep tissue if that's possible .. I enjoyed the warm towels, the pressure was good, vanilla peach scents (you pick your scent) and relaxing spa music. I am giving Fuchsia-Ahwatukee a 5/5 because Cayla provides the BEST facial! I have been a member since 2018 and have seen several different people over the years but no one compares to Cayla. After 2 girls I was seeing for a long time left I was going to end my membership but then I met Cayla! Instead of ending my membership that day I ended up rebooking with her and have continued to do so even after I moving to Gilbert (it's worth the drive!). Her attention to detail is everything! I do not recommend. The masseuses have zero experience and its a waste of an hour. They are also constantly switching you to new people who have zero experience even if you have been a long time client and saw the same racialist for nearly the entire year. The manager Alex has been aware of these issues the entire year of my membership and despite this being my last service today here with a facial with Lucy and they switched my appointment to someone new named Amanda. I corrected them immediately and asked that I have Lucy do my facial since she was here. They said they can't do that because the other appointment is a long term client of hers. Hmm that's interesting since I was a long term client, too. In the past I have had 4 terrible massages. I have made appointments with people and then come in only to be told that person quit but we have this new person who's amazing. Only one new person was great, William, and he quit after 4 months. The manager never handles these complaints properly (never once refunded me for bad massages or switching my booked appointments to someone else). Really poor service and it speaks volumes that their staff is constantly quitting. I almost cancelled this membership 3 times with Alex and she begged me to keep trying them yet today happened. Fuchsia was a beautifully decorated spa, everything was really nicely updated and configured. As part of a Yelp! Elite perk we were offered a free on the go facial or 30 minute massage. I enjoyed a pink drink cocktail and the quiet room while waiting for my facial. My facial was great, it was quick, smelled great and my face felt well moisturized and bright. However, the entire facial my esthetician reemed my usage of Cetaphil for the last few years. I currently and in the previous few years have had almost no acne and have gone to my same dermatologist for several years. I understand that using all natural products comes with many benefits, however my skincare routine works for me. The entire appointment was focused on how could I use such a terrible product so use these products instead. While my facial was great, talking down about my skincare routine and trying to sell me spa packages and a $64 skincare set during the 30 minutes I was there will probably keep me from returning again. read more

I was very grateful to the Elite squad for introducing me to this spa. The interior is gorgeous, fun, clean, and very relaxing. From the minute I walked in I was made to feel important, and pampered. Louie was my massage therapist. I had the 30 minute sample massage and it was wonderful. I was also happy to be able to buy two gift cards at a sale price. I will come back for either a facial or another massage. Sadly, there are no locations remotely close by my home or work so until that happens I probably won't go back after that. Took advantage of an $85 facial and led treatment with jelly mask they had going on. An add popped up on my my Instagram feed and it sounded too good to pass up. The normal price is $95 for the facial and $45 for the led and $35 for the jelly mask, I also added on microdermabrasion that is normally $35 but during the special was only $10. LED treatment - The led treatment area is located in the hallway, it's not a private area and people are walking by your bedside while coming/going. Talking loudly and opening and closing the door several times during the 30 minute "relaxing led treatment". I was the only one getting the led treatment at first but there are 3 beds tucked along the wall- during my treatment I got to listen as the two other beds filled up and the girls explained the led mask to them. I felt very exposed and a little chilly. I also find it weird that this treatment was done before the facial and before any cleansing of my face. I wear sunscreen daily and without cleansing my face first I don't feel like I got the full treatment benefits. If I was paying the full price for this service I would have been extremely upset. Facial - I was waiting on the led treatment table with the light off for about 10 minutes before I was grabbed for my facial. Morgan was very nice and I don't think the issues I had with my facial are on her as much as they are on the facility/things available/way she was taught. The first couple minutes in I was already a little grossed out because a Clarisonic was used to cleanse my face - something about the reusable facial cleaning brush that is disinfected and then used again on someone else is icky to me. I added on microdermabrasion, I wish I wouldn't have. It felt more like deep needle scraping and I left with cat like scratches all over my face. The scratches lasted for two days after my treatment and stung when I put product on. She had gloves on, which is great, but they were too big for her. It made it very uncomfortable and awkward to put product on my face and to cleanse it properly. She also wore them during my massage and scalp massage and it pulled my hair. She couldn't feel my face so I left with jelly mask pieces I could peel off of my cheeks and forehead and also some blue/green mask like product in my hairline and under my jaw that my husband pointed out after I got home. My facial took 40 minutes even with my microdermabrasion add on and jelly mask. I get that I paid a discount price, but I don't understand places like this that offer a special to get in new clients and then half @$$ the treatments. As far as first impressions go, I was not happy and will not be going back. I'm also not impressed with the weekly phone calls I receive now asking me to come back in and become a member. **ladies, long story short, there are much better and less expensive professional esthetician's through out the valley that you can go to that offer a much more relaxing experience and an amazing facial for less than this spa offers. This spa was nicely decorated once brought back to the waiting area. It was comfortable with dim lighting. They served me a pink champagne drink while waiting. When I went in for my appointment they didn't have me written down for the right day, so they had me come back the next day, which was disappointing. New location in Ahwatukee I saw while shopping at Trader Joe's. They had a banner hanging outside advertising $49 massage or facial. I called to book an appointment since I live around the corner and could definitely use a massage. I had a baby in January and work in the service industry and I'm on my feet a lot and carrying a big baby! :) The woman who booked my massage was very friendly on the phone and I was looking forward to my appointment. I arrived on a Sunday morning and there was one other person waiting for their appointment. The inside was very bright and definitely more of a hair/nail salon feel. Not a spa. The front desk woman was very nice and informative about what they offer. I filled out my paperwork and they had me choose an essential oil to smell during the massage. I went into a relaxation room for a few minutes and then the therapist came in. I was a little confused when a man came in because when I scheduled they gave me a woman's name for my therapist. I didn't mind because I have had male therapists in the past but I can imagine that would be an issue for some. The therapist was very kind and soft spoken and he asked me a few questions about any areas to focus on or avoid, etc. The massage was ok. I asked for harder pressure a couple times but didn't really get there. He also focused a lot of time in the same spots. After some time he said "we are running short on time so I am just going to do your feet really quick". I was annoyed because I feel like he didn't manage his time properly and missed a lot of areas that are expected in a full body massage. I also never smelled the eucalyptus scent I chose. Maybe he was new but when the massage was over I felt little to no relief. This has never happened to me with a massage before. I hope business goes well for them but I wish I had spent my $60 ($49 massage with a 20% tip) elsewhere. The first time I went there it was fabulous. The staff and the owner were fabulous. I had waxing done by Stephanie and then I went back the same day and had a massage by Megan. Yesterday I went to get dermaplaning which was suggested by my esthetician. I woke up this morning and I have stubble all around my face. I'm not sure if that's what dermaplaning does since no one told me the after effects. I called and left a message about my stubbles but as of yet I haven't received a returned call. Great little day spa with lots of extra-special services. The staff is delightful and my massage therapist, Vanessa is amazing. Having had chronic back issues my entire life and a recent injury that exasperated the pain, I started a massage regimen every two weeks. After two months, I'm feeling so much better. Loved my Mother's Day pampering here. Nice and clean with very friendly staff. My masseuse was Wendy who is an absolute doll. There are two Fuchsia locations closer to my house but I'll drive thirty minutes to go to her again and again. Yes they did try to sell the membership, but that's their job and they were in no way pushy, just informative and to be honest my experience was so good that I'm considering getting one! I love how they have a little form that they have you fill out with what you are expecting from your massage and what areas you do or don't want to be focused on. I initially saw the sign a few times when I was going to the Safeway and after a few times I figured I'd schedule an appointment. Since day 1 I've had nothing but problems with them scheduling and managing everything. I originally signed up for an 80 minute massage, I even received a confirmation for the date and length of the massafe. When I arrived that day they didn't say anything, made it seem like everything was ok. I go into my massage and 50 minutes later they let me know that's all the time we have even though I had booked an 80 min session. I brought it up at the front desk and they said they were sorry and my next one would be my 80 min, they even convinced me to sign up for their membership-- WORSR decision I've made. My next appointment was then ALSO scheduled incorrectly for an 50 min instead of the 80 minute. Again they apologized and promised the 80 for next time. Something came up with work and I had to reschedule my following appointment which I did a week in advance, I was told someone would reach out to me to reschedule and NO ONE DID. I ended up calling back a week later, the day my massage was originally supposed to be, to see what was going on. At that time again the application lotuses and scheduled an appt for 2 days later, just for them to call me the day day that something came up and they couldn't get me in anytime soon. I understand stuff comes up but now who knows when They can get me in and I paid for the membership for this month. I'm paying for membership for a service I'm not even receiving.
