I have been wanting to try FTH Pizza for a couple of years. After enjoying it today, I wish had stopped by earlier. It was very good--maybe the best pizza I've tried in Williamsburg. Using a wood fire oven, FTH Pizza's pies convey that fired taste. I purchased the Margarita Pizza, and I really enjoyed the sauce. It contains the right amount of sweetness. This pizza also was not very cheesy, which is perfect for me! One of my favorite parts of a pizza is the air bubbles. It's crazy. I can't get enough of them! While my pizza had sufficient bubbles to delight, a couple were burnt from the fire. If you like bubbles like I do, ask for them to watch heat on the bubbles. For $12, I received a delicious pizza that added sunshine to a cloudy day! I have heard that they may sell out of their pizza dough before their posted closing hours, so I recommend going early.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Williamsburg. We ventured here looking for a good oven fire pizza and the chef/owner was the only one there. He took our order and cooked the pizza for us. The pizza was delicious! Although it's hard to go wrong with an oven fire pizza. Definitely recommend!

Admittedly, when we pulled up, we were skeptical. In a "strip mall" and next door to a smoke shop…read more We were about to leave, even though we had vouchers to spend... This place came on a recommendation from the folks at the Holiday Inn Club Vacation resort we are staying at. I am glad we decided to walk in. WOW We were immediately greeted in the breezeway by whom we now presume was Francesco (Owner/Chef?). The ambiance was incredible (please, the fanciest Italian place I have ever visited was Olive Garden). We were seated, given menus, etc. Then Vinny, the waiter, approached. Super cool, super knowledgeable, and very friendly! Walked us through the specials, what he recommends, and so on. The food and service were FANTASTIC! Thank you, Francesco and crew, and thank you Holiday Inn Club Vacations for steering us Francesco's way!

Francesco's is a little Italian restaurant located in Lightfoot on Richmond Road, just two miles up…read morefrom the Williamsburg Outlets. In the last week, I dined there twice -- once for lunch with a group of nine neighbors and once for dinner with my family of five. The portions are a good size and the food is good. I usually need a box to take home what I can't finish at the restaurant. Both the lunch and dinner menus offer a lot options from soups, salads, and entrees (plus sandwiches during lunch). The lunch portions are smaller, but still plentiful. I especially enjoy the chicken piccata and contessa di crema, which contains scallops and shrimp with pasta covered in a rose vodka sauce. It's delicious. They offer several options of pasta, included with the meal. They also offer one pasta that is made fresh for an extra $6. Francesco's used to provide a salad with the meal, but it now offers that as an extra option for about $5. They do still provide a good bread service of thickly sliced Italian bread baked with butter, garlic, and Parmesan cheese. You can request it with just butter or butter and cheese. The restaurant offers a selection of cocktails as well as wines by the glass or bottle. Note that if you plan to pay by credit card, there is a 3.95% fee added to your total. This isn't uncommon at local restaurants in Williamsburg. Parking is easy in the shopping center.
