My first time here. I had a sausage pizza. It was outstanding. The crust (thin) was one of the best I've ever had: chewy, crisp and flavorful. The sausage was handmade and delicious. The sauce and cheese were very tasty. I think they are using fresh mozzarella- so good, really. Topped off with a nice mix of herbs, I really enjoyed it! The cook in a wood fired oven in front of you (cool), which gives a great flavor. I will be back, with the fam! Seating is outside only, but it's a pleasant shaded environment. The person working there was great. The pizza came out quickly. read more

We ventured here yesterday, a Saturday night at about 5pm. We were excited to try this place as it has great reviews. We walked in and we were asked if we had a pickup order. I said no, we would like to order and wait. They had no inside seating, and we didn't realize it was mostly carry out, but we were going to sit outside and wait. We were not given the chance. They said, I kid you not, "we only have one crust left." How in the world can a pizza restaurant, at 5pm on a Saturday night, be out of pizza crusts? Couldn't you, I don't know, make more? We will not return. We ended up at New York deli and pizza and would 10/10 suggest it. It was super busy with locals, so I think that's the spot to try. read more

I called to order take out and the staff member I spoke with was super friendly and patient, making recommendations and accommodating my requests. The pie itself was absolutely fantastic! The ingredients tasted very fresh. I cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Great wood fired oven cooked pizzas. Outdoor seating only and it was raining so we took it home. Still, the pizzas were excellent.

Super rude employee while trying to order over the phone. He certainly didn't want to take an order, so I moved on.

Prices are great! Got takeout but the outside seating I passed looked nice. Cheese pizza was yummy. White pizza could use a little more flavor but the roasted garlic was a nice touch. read more

This is a pizza review. I have been trying local spots for the best pizza in town. This pizza deserves a top among the best in the area. The crust was crisp with just the right amount of burnt taste. All toppings were great quality. I give this pizza a 7.1 out of 10. Definitely one of if not the best pizzas in town. read more

Food trucks are all the craze over the last year well let me just say that these guys are AWESOME. They have their own pizza oven on a trailer and they bring it to local events like yesterdays Smartmouth Brewery 1 Year Anniversary party in Norfolk, VA. I've heard about "From the Hearth" from a couple of other friends that have tried them out and I must say that I was pretty interested when I glanced at their setup yesterday afternoon and ultimately I was not disappointed in the slightest. There were 4 pizzas listed on the chalk board menu yesterday and I selected one called the "Spicy Pig". The ingredients included Tomato sauce, Pecorino Provolone Pepperoni, House made spicy fennel sausage, chilies and mozzarella curd. The wait time was about 40 minutes from my order, they were packed so no problem, gave them my name, wandered off and got another beer. When I returned about 45 minutes later I had to wait about another 5 minutes or so and then they called my name and I had a delicious and unique personal pizza for my late afternoon lunch. Keep your eye's open for these guys if you're out and about at the local festivals and other events. They make a great product, oh and last but not least everything is local produced ingredients and the owners grow their own herbs and source everything from Virginia Farmers. Keeping the money local is always a good thing. read more

Great pizza spot, my go to when I'm not in the mood to make my own. Perfectly cooked pizza.

We were in Williamsburg for a family vacation from NC. On our last day we went to the outlets a for a bit then were hungry for pizza. Found this place on the map just a few mins away from shops and decided to try it. This was probably the best pizza I've ever had. I ordered the white pizza. It was AMAZING. There is a "hot honey" that he puts on top that gives it a sweet kick, the garlic and ricotta flavors all mixed perfectly. I wish I lived closer so I could get it all the time! There is only outdoor seating but on a good weather day like today in early June it was gorgeous and a perfect day to eat outside. The owner has fresh herbs & tomatoes growing in the seating area which was fun for us and the kids to look at while waiting for the pizza. It didn't take long at all for the pizza to be ready. We went around noon and it was not busy but my guess is that most people carry out. All pizzas are one size, about 12". Perfect for 2 to share or one person to take a couple slices home. I highly recommend this place! read more

We moved to Williamsburg in August 2017, leaving behind in Vermont a wonderful wood-fired pizza restaurant. Having tried a number of the local pizza palaces, we'd come to the conclusion that "they don't know how to make pizza here". HOWEVER, neighbors turned us on to FTH Pizza. I ordered 5 pizzas (pepperoni, cheese, and the eggplant special) for a small gathering last week and now must retract my comment. FTH Pizza KNOWS how to produce wonderful pies here in Williamsburg! Friendly staff, prompt service and very, very good pizza. Congrats to you FTH Pizza - keep up the good work! read more

Just discovered Fth Pizza and oh my gosh...I am so glad we did. The pizza is so good. We just got the pepperoni pizza, but it was amazing. I can't wait to try some of the other pizzas like the white and the Margherita pizza. We tried the cannolis and they were authentic Italian deliciousness. Fth Pizza will be our new regular. Love it! read more

As someone who makes their own pizza dough and sauce, I'll say FTH is the best pizza in Virginia. I stopped by randomly one day on vacation, and made it a point to go back as many times as possible. The quality of the ingredients are fantastic so even the simplest pies shine. Thank you to this small business for putting out a great product, and for the friendly and quick service. read more

Tried their pepperoni, white pie, and homemade cannoli. All very very good. The white pie with honey was the best pizza I've had in a long time. Husband said the tomato sauce is the freshest sauce he's ever had. Cannoli was SO delicious. Only giving 4 star because we were expecting crisp bottom pizza but it was very soft. Would definitely love to be able to dine in some day. read more
