To the balding cashier in probably his 40s-50s grow up and try to cover the weed and cigarette smell coming off your breath and clothes next time and don't be rushing customers out of the business that's open 24 hours that you work at, thanks. Especially on something I'm purchasing weekly. You have to be a member, and if you are, enjoy the cost savings. Second, Costco's gas is better than most other gas stations. Or so they say. All indications are that this is true though I haven't done deep research to confirm it. Costco has a lot of locations around town, so there's usually one pretty close by when I need it. This particular location is the closest one to my home. It's typically not as busy as other locations I've been to in the Phoenix area. One of the downsides of getting gas at Costco is that it's almost always busy. Lots of people are onto the same thing as I am. The good news is that since they have a lot of pumps, you get through the line quickly. Part of what helps is that their pumps are super long so you can pump from either side. You don't have to go to the pump on the same side as your fuel tank as you do at most gas stations. Brilliant!

I went around 2pm today and was pleasantly surprised that there was not a long line. Technically, there were more cars in line to pump for those with the gas tank on the left side of their vehicle but I chose to pump from the opposite side. I think today's trip was record time with me pulling in, pulling up, and pulling off. With gas prices being $4.99 at Circle K, I was happy to drive to my favorite Costco and pump gas for $4.69. But usually, I always am. Anyway, another successful trip to Costco and I didn't even go in!

I apparently hit them right as they ran out of all of their gas, or all the pumps were not working since he was bagging all the pumps at that time. There are probably 15 gas stations on my way home, so it's difficult to say if I will return after this stroke of bad luck for both them and me - they had easily ten people pull up to the pumps and drive off which I'm sure was painful for the bottom line.
