Our property in Lower Merion had some basement water intrusion every time it heavily rained. We went out and got about 5 quotes initially. Ron wasn't the lowest quote we got, but he was the 2nd lowest, and was very knowledgeable without being very pushy on services as some competitors were. Ron decided that digging and fixing the exterior barrier was the best path to take, so his crew spent 3 days digging an 8 foot trench near the wall that had the leakage and then sealing up holes, applying layers of sealants to waterproof that side before putting back the soil. Next rainstorm, rain came in on the same side, but slightly different location. Ron and his team returned for a few more hours and helped us installed a French drain and sump pump on that side of the wall as part of the original cost, because his exterior approach didn't work. He didn't try to dodge responsibility. He just fixed the problem and punctually too. We've now observed a month of rain, and no more water is intruding into the basement, so I am glad to be able to give Arizona Dry Waterproofing this 5* review. I had to pay to put back the flagstone on the exterior and the wood paneling in the basement wall myself separately, as they don't work with those, so add about $1000 to your own budget when doing a project like this for the cleanup work. We had a mystery wall that needed to be removed. It's been super hard to find companies we trust to not only give us a fair price but also do the work correctly. Both instances they did a spectacular job. They were very responsive even after the work was finished. If we had questions we would have a response same day. Our most recent job was finished Friday and Steve was emailing us Saturday to make sure everything went well. The team left everything super clean too. I really expected at least a little mess! We were told that we would be notified two weeks before start date. Mid Sept we had no word so I reached out. I was told that the work would have to be pushed back due to Hurricane Ida. Fine, We can be understanding. Now October comes around and again, no contact. I contact the company and they tell me once again, that someone would reach out to us within two weeks to start. Nothing. Now November comes and we grow impatient. There was Zero communication from anyone there. Finally they notify us on a Monday that project will begin on Wednesday. That's 2 DAYS notice. We had no time to find coverage for work. We had to take 3 days off of work, last minute, because they were entering our home. Work was completed in 3 days but failed inspection. The office manager blamed it on a "New Inspector". Okay we had to take an additional 2 days off of work for the inspection and re-inspection. The last straw was when checking the newly installed sump pump, the pipes we not connected. What kind of waterproofing company fails at connecting sump pump pipes?!!! This time, the manager blamed it on the glue. I have never in my life, regretted such a horrible decision than to hire this company. No communication, zero empathy for the hell we had to endure and took no responsibility for their wrongdoing.
