Evidence suggests they likely damaged the liner during a standard 25' installation and then concealed this by using segments and a coupler that ultimately failed. Their subsequent response, claiming that a visible gap in the liner does not constitute a failure, reflects negligence given the inherent fire risk. I appreciated the quality of service I received from the start of the proposal to the end of the project. Excellent workmanship by Tim Iby and Tom Vessels! Hard working, great attention to detail and they exceeded my standard expectations. My home needed parging, brick & stone patch pointing and calking. Tim communicated well throughout the project to ensure that the work was carried out precisely as written in the proposal. I really appreciated that he was keenly interested in capturing every detail no matter how small. After the work was finished Tim and Tom cleaned up the work areas well. Make sure you call to confirm your appointment yourself. It's a hassle just to get an estimate. Their hours aren't very convenient. I made an appointment for early morning, 7:30am and they were a no call/no show. That's aggravating as hell. Eventhough both areas in need of repair were accessible without me having to be home, I was told they don't do "Drive-by's", which is fine. professional, efficient, responsive. If you're reading this in search of someone to address moisture in your basement, I feel for you. We spent six months trying to figure out where water was getting into the basement of our duplex (which had been completely renovated before we bought it four years ago) and paying various contractors to do exterior and interior fixes. Since it was rehabbed and had a sump pump, we just assumed that a drainage system had been installed (otherwise why the pump, right?). Our exterior fixes stopped the leaks, but one part of the wall that we had opened up never completely dried out, leading us to contact basement waterproofing companies. I got quotes from three businesses. I eliminated one immediately (Mid Atlantic Waterproofing) because of their shady sales tactics, which I noticed later that others had also complained about on Yelp. All of the prices were about the same and they all offer life-time guarantees. The other remaining company was also local and highly rated. They probably would have also done a great job, but I settled on Jamison because they had a more professional, efficient office staff (I could pay deposit via credit card on the phone, get a digital copy of the contract, etc) and they were also willing to include a drain from the basement window well into the perimeter drain. My only complaint is that we had scheduled the work - in writing and in person - for a specific date and then found out that the crew couldn't come until the next day. That set back our other contractor who was scheduled to start on the tile and drywall repairs as soon as Jamison finished. Ultimately, it was just a day delay and no big deal, but I was surprised about that given how professional this company was otherwise. I also want to note that the crew made a point of explaining what they were doing and how the system worked, and offered to throw away some broken furniture that our former tenants had left in the basement, which was really nice. I'm still skeptical that our basement will stay dry after the trauma of the past six months, but we'll see how this goes! Hopefully I can come back here in 2 years and write a raving review about how the basement has stayed dry! read more

We had our chimney rebuilt due to a leak coming inside the attic space from the chimney. Jamison stated we need a rebuilt chimney to be sure the leak would be resolved. After the work was done we noticed new water stains on the bathroom ceiling and saw that the chimney still leaked. Called Jamison and they stated it was the roof. However our roof was fine but we decided just in case to get the roof done. The chimney still leaked and they would not address it. They just would not take any responsibility for their work. We also got a chimney liner and was sent a letter a year later stating if we did not get chimney care yearly the warranty would be voided. read more

Needed stucco repair done on a house that was built in 1901. Decided to use Jamison. Very professional from the start to the end of the project. The price was reasonable for the work they did. The guys that did the work was awesome. Things were explained throughout the process and it looks great. Only small complaint is that the company didn't follow up to see if we were satisfied with the completed project, but I understand it can overlooked sometimes. Contracted to do an inspection and then a cleaning, with a copy of the certification to be left with the tenant and then emailed to me. The showed up on the date requested, used a vacuum in the basement, never went onto the roof and left. No paperwork left, no emails. I did get my credit card charged for both cleaning and certification. After a week I had to call them and ask for the paperwork. I received a ten word summary that the chimney failed certification and was cleaned. How did it fail? Guess I will have to try and call back and find out. Wonderful experience from start to finish. When looking to have our fireplace (firebox) repaired, Mario came out and gave us an excellent quote and timeline for completion of work. We realized on our own that we may need additional flue work, so Mario came back out to evaluate. He then turned us over to Kevin, the foreman that specializes in that work. Within a day, Kevin came and scoped out the work, completed an estimate in a timely fashion, and work began the following week. To bring everything up to code, we ended up having the old terra-cotta flue tile removed, a new stainless steel flue pipe and an energy efficient top mount damper installed, the smoke box was coated, bricks and mortar in the firebox replaced, and the floor of the firebox was completely redone with new brick. Kevin also removed the old tile on the hearth and prepared the surface for the installation of a piece of granite. I can't speak highly enough about Kevin and his crew. They were extremely professional, personable, and treated my home as if it were theirs. Kevin went out of his way to help coordinate the granite install, helping us find a good company. I was most impressed by the honesty and integrity of everyone that helped to make our project complete and perfect! read more
