Where Bath and Body Works use to be is now on the other side of the hallway if you want to call it. This location is bigger than the first. More staff to help you out. Must say the staff is more friendlier then I remember. Very busy and easy to find what I was looking for. Today only Sept 21,2024 was 40% of the entire store. I manage to buy two items and yes that is a miracle for me. LOL Will be definitely returning again.

Store layout is easy to follow with latest items up front and the more traditional soaps in the middle of store and off to the side. There is also a sink to try different soaps on and to wash your hands. Near the back is the cashier area and has the typical small items that fit purses and small toiletries bags. Overall great value for hand soaps and if you like B & B you won't be disappointed.

So I walked in, lugging a number of bags, which you'd think would make me look like a prime customer. I was the only CUSTOMER in the store but I think I know why. It was awkward. The girl behind the till had 3 gentlemen surrounding her and they were in the middle of a flirt-a-thon. It was like I didn't even exist. I get that it was Friday night and she clearly had game because it was a 1 girl : 3 boy ratio, but seriously... she was SUPPOSED to be working! I think I actually stopped mid store and just stared. I was completely flabbergasted by the fact that I was being completely ignored. So I stood there for a couple minutes just watching the courting in action and I must have been staring a little too hard cause at one point the girl looked at me and just smiled. I felt like I had walked in on something so I did an about turn and headed straight for the exit. I thought the customer was always right...but in this case, I was wrong to have assumed that I could have possibly gotten some service on a Friday night when work was OBVIOUSLY the furthest thing from the young girl's mind.

They had some great scents too, the peach one was delicious smelling! The butters seemed to go for around $22-$28. The staff was unimpressive here. They have some great collections! The prices seemed reasonable to me. I would recommend this store for someone who is into body lotions and such.

I have gone to BABW for a few years now and always got stuff like hand soaps candles etc, but they recently expanded their mens collection with scents and body washes made just for guys. For the price they are alot more refined and of better quality than the typical stuff you could find at say, Shoppers Drug Mart or similar. Take advantage of the great sales, they seem to be happening every weekend. They also make hands down the best candles and scented oil diffusers.... expensive? A little, but worth every penny. There are some scents that although not made for guys are still pretty cool, like rainkissed leaves, fresh linen etc.... nice clean smells that just seem fresh. Make sure you sign up for the email alert, you get great coupons ( 2 for 1 items etc)by email . There are locations at Chinook and also at Market Mall. The prices are great when you consider the sales and special offers they have all the time. You can find just about anything for your body, for your bath and for your wallet. :)

Throughout the holiday seasons the staff was diverse and I was able to relate with a few of the member regarding my experience with the nature of the items and how they connect to different cultures. Although when I went last weekend I was disappointed to hear that they were only seasonal. I wish one of the core values of Lush consisted of diversity in staff and was visible in this branch all year around and not just around the holidays to make the customers feel more inclusive!

I have just started to get a bit of gray on my temples and hate it. I decided to go to an actual supply store instead of buying the kits. I normally buy them at walmart etc, but havent been happy so I ended up here. The store is not huge but has alot of stuff in it, hair colors, things for nails, makeup etc..anything to do with beauty, they have it. I was cheerfully greeted a girl( who I found out is the manager) who happily assisted me in finding the exact color I needed, the wee accessories that went along with it as well as instructions on how to do the deed when I got home. She was so helpful and so nice. I am amazed to discover that buying professional hair color products is much cheaper than the kits and wayyyy more than getting it done at a salon. There is plenty of parking out front. I look forward to trying out my new products, and if all goes well I will be back to see Sally again. I hate my greys!

But apparently that's how it always is. When selecting nail polish be careful to look on the labels on the bottom of the bottle to make sure it's the color you're really looking for - they tend to stack overflow of one color to the next slot (that's out of stock) so their display looks full . . . I'm not sure if it's because this place is in the NE but the people who work here friggen hate life. The last time I was here, there was a sale that involved a free item with purchase. Said free item was not on the shelf. Me: Could you let me know if there are any left in stock? Cashier: *eye roll* . . . No Me: Would I be able to get a replacement since it's out of stock? Cashier: No Seriously what is the point of advertising the sale if it's not going to be honored? And to the cashier - you work in a beauty supply store - use your employee discount to buy some hair coloring to fix your hack dye job and some nail polish to cover your disgusting nails you clearly trim using your teeth! I tend to pick up my perfume on my way through duty free but the last few trips they haven't carried my scent and I'm down to fumes so waiting is us just scentsless. (Yep I went there). The day I went in there was a sale on gift sets, the had my perfume AND I got signed up for a 25 gift certificate in my birthday month. Where has this store been all my perfume wearing life?
