After finding Kati Mac Floral Designs online, I spoke with Amy about what I was looking for & she immediately felt that Ashlee would be a great fit to help me turn this into something real - she was right! From our first conversation, I knew that Ashlee was exactly who I was looking for. Ashlee & I spoke pretty often over the year leading up to our wedding & no matter how many times I changed my mind about our plan or how disorganized my ideas were, Ashlee was always organized enough for the both of us, incredibly patient & helpful as we figured out what I was really looking for & made me feel heard & understood every time we spoke. Once we figured out that we REALLY wanted to throw an....ethereal garden party ceremony followed by a whimsical pink pastel disco reception....we really got to have fun together bouncing different creative ideas off of one another. Ashlee always made me feel like we were in this together & like she was really excited about my ideas & making them a reality. As soon as Ashlee brought the bouquets into my hotel room the morning of the wedding, I knew she had knocked it out of the park. When I got to the venue with my bridal party, I was absolutely speechless when I saw the floral installations she had created for our reception accent wall & our ceremony arch. I may not have known in the beginning what my very vague, oddly specific vision really was, but I knew on my wedding day that Ashlee had created it for me. Started light with for my first time being just one slice of the "Strawberry shortcake". The slices are $10 but well worth it cause the size and no complaints on taste either. The Strawberry shortcake has cheesecake filling as one of the layers in the slice which was a really good touch. Strawberry tasted fresh, icing was just right, and cake was moist. Every thing was just right. Haven't really looked at the other selections of slices or cupcakes cause I was in and out knowing just what I wanted to try and go from there. Did find out about the other slices of featured cake was a "Strawberry cake with strawberry crunch icing and cheesecake filling" looked good too but I didn't wanna over do it for my first visit. Even though about half of the plants and flowers are artificial, they look remarkably realistic and blend seamlessly with the live ones. I also loved the variety of plants and flowers available for sale--from potted plants to beautifully arranged bouquets in vases. What truly topped off the experience was the warm and friendly service from every staff member I encountered in the shop. It's a wonder, then, that the café's customer service felt entirely different from the one in the store--hence, the loss of one star in my rating. Like what the other Yelper mentioned, I also noticed that the baristas seemed too preoccupied with their tasks than to assist customers. When I approached the counter, one barista spent a long time arranging a food order, while another was busy restocking coins in the cash register. Even though they could clearly see me and another customer standing right in front of the counter, neither of them acknowledged or greeted any of us. After standing there in silence for quite a while, I eventually gave up and didn't bother placing an order. At that point, a vending machine might have been a better option--it would've at least been more responsive.

The individual behind the counter did not acknowledge us for at least eight minutes while she was preparing another customer's order. Once she did, there was no smile or pleasant greeting. The soup was luke warm and tasted awful and the quiche was like a rubber display. It was definitely not money well spent. This is no longer a favorite place to visit.
