Street side where you can eat your food
Heather W.

I haven't been here in a long time. They have switched locations but it's actually a better location for them. Only a few store fronts down from where it was. It has more room inside than the old place. They have lots of fun local art on the walls. I have only tried basically the wraps but they were so good I never wanted to try anything else. I would crave them too. I also love their sauces. They have delicious sauces. The pesto is really good. They gave me a lemon honey poppyseed to try last time and that was tasty. I would probably put that in a salad. My mom ordered the Greek salad and that looked amazing! They hade definitely stepped up their game since I have been. They plate things beautifully. I should try more things on the menu but it's hard when you crave something that you just have to have. The only call out I have, I wished they had more comfy outside seating to stay and enjoy a little longer. Especially since you have an ocean view sitting outside.

This açaí bowl is so good and it was super quick to get right next to the hotel I'm staying at in Venice, loved it.

Body Detox Juice

Everything you want out of a juice and vegetarian place. We had the body detox juice, protein acai bowl, salad wrap, and "chiikn" taco. Everything was phenomenal and hit the spot.

I stumbled upon this gem while walking around Venice Beach. It's the perfect spot if you need something refreshing to drink on a warm day. I had the Warrior smoothie, which has plenty of protein, bananas, and peanut butter. The workers were very friendly and helpful. It's an awesome place if you want some yummy smoothies after a workout or just a refreshing drink. They also have a variety of items on the menu to choose from. Please support this business--it's worth a try if you're in the area.

Loved the sign out front!

10/10/10/10/10/10 Fantastic smoothies at a very reasonable price! Looking up smoothie shops in Santa Monica and I about died when I saw prices upwards of $15. There are limited options for smoothies in Venice so luckily it didn't take long for me to find Fruit Gallery on Yelp. Prices looked reasonable and the product photos from other Yelpers passed the vibe check. Stopped in mid afternoon on a Sunday and was surprised that no one else was there. I saw fresh squeezed oj in the case so I knew I was in for a treat. Prices have taxes factored in so the price you see is the price you pay. If you're deciding between Hawaii 5.0 and Beach Dream.. Get the Beach Dream!!!

Great place to spot by during a bike ride for a pick me up. I got the aloha hawaiian smoothie and it was really good. Not too sweet at all and had great flavor. A bit pricey but what isn't at Venice beach. It's located close to other food places and has some seating right outside the store. Parking is paid beach parking.

Mullein in my morning juice cleared up my lungs better than albuterol. Thank you Nina!!

You would think the boardwalk would offer more smoothies/health options, but this is the only real spot imo. The acai is really great and their smoothies look amazing (I've never had tho). We come here for their bowls and we grab coffee from groundworks next door. The owner is a really nice and cool lady who's set up a solid business. They just moved two doors down and I panicked when I walked up and saw a sign for a pizza shop opening. Thank God they had a sign out pointing you two doors down otherwise I would not have noticed. There is some bar seating and one table inside and then a few tables outside in the shared space.

Pure delicious on a perfect beach afternoon!! Service was amazing, fast and with a smile. Cool refreshing vibe along the Venice Beach.

I love this place so much! They have the best Açaí bowls in Venice!! The fruit is very fresh, and just right!

Put an online order in, paid for it, they were closed when I went to pick it up. I was denied a refund after attempting to contact them multiple times. Even though I gave them my order number, time the order was placed, & showed them my bank account statement. Unbelievable. I've worked in restaurants in LA for 5 years and would never think to treat a customer this way.

sweet place. unless you're near the beach, only locals and visitors already at the beach will stop by to pick up refreshments.

Beware the gluten free wrap... They assured me it was unbreaded chicken, but put it in a whole wheat wrap. Epic Fail!

I hadn't realized this was a chain. I called up the place and the guy on the phone (who turned out to be one of the owners, Pine) told me it had just opened a week prior, so I decided to go anyway. Despite having waited a long time from negotiating prices until completion of tints (apparently their other tint guy took a last-minute day off), I am satisfied with their work. I was very hesitant the whole way because, again, of the lack of reviews, but took a leap of faith based on this being a reputable enough chain. Asked a lot of questions throughout and got suckered into getting all the windows done, even the back and rear which I hadn't planned to. The price I ended up paying was still more than I would've liked especially given that they haven't even had their grand opening yet. But I had a new car and decided to suck it up as a "Buy Once, Cry Once" sort of necessity. I am not a Car Guy™; my main concerns I wanted to address were heat rejection, UV protection, and privacy (or rather preemptive measures against theft, since my older car had been broken into), so I opted for their highest quality film. If you go now they will be willing to work out a deal with you. They told me grand opening is in April so I guess they're still in their soft opening phase. Just a word of caution--if your car has a lot of insulation uhhh... dots? on the windshield, you will run into adhesive issues because of the nature of the textured dots. I wish I had been told that from the get-go, since there is no way around it as I was told when I went back a few days later to get it smoothed out. But they all did their best to explain to me and smooth it out best they could. The brothers, Pine and Win, are extremely kind. I did not catch the name of the guy who did my tints but he did great work.

Parking here is free and easy in a private lot, which is a rare win in this area and makes stopping by way less stressful. The food is solid and consistently yummy, with generous portions that actually leave you full. The sandwiches and salads are fresh, flavorful, and are high quality California comfort food. There are tons of vegetarian options as well as easy to customize sandwiches and other deli style offerings. The sides are so good too, and my favorite is the curried cous cous! I always upsize to a larger side and take the leftovers back to my hotel. I ordered a veggie sandwich with cous cous. My sandwich was stuffed with ingredients and was absolutely delicious. I ended up taking half of my meal back to the hotel to enjoy later (the leftovers were just as good, too)! The sandwiches travel especially well, making Mendocino Farms a terrific choice for a picnic on the beach. Where things got a little strange at this location was the service. The employees were polite but noticeably awkward, and interactions felt a bit "off" and disorganized. They weren't rude, just very weird. They also straight up stared to see if you would leave a tip, and then if you did they'd ring a loud cowbell. This made me feel really uncomfortable, and it felt extremely passive-aggressive. It was a quiet Sunday morning, but the restaurant was busy. Seating here is extremely limited (there are only a few tables and spots to sit), and a good half of the restaurant was taken up by catering bags and to-go orders placed on chairs and tables. It made the space feel cluttered and not very welcoming if you were hoping to sit and eat. Really wish they'd put the catering orders somewhere else instead of taking up valuable real estate for paying customers who want to dine in! Overall, this location of Mendocino Farms seems great for takeout thanks to the food and parking, but not ideal for dining in. If you're grabbing a meal to go, it's a good choice. Just don't count on a comfortable sit-down experience.

We found a spot easily at 5:30 pm that night. The owner was inside chatting with another diner when we came in. He greeted us immediately and told us to sit anywhere. He brought over water and two menus right after that. The ambiance here is simple and would make for a good place for lunch, a casual meal, or getting takeaway. For appetizers, we ordered two dips: the labne and baba ghanouj. Both were perfectly creamy and flavorsome. They came with toasted pita bread. For mains, my husband got the chicken shawarma which he really enjoyed. I took a bite and loved that it had garlic sauce inside. I got the falafel plate, which I enjoyed. Overall it was a large plate, but there were only three small falafel. I thought the quality of the food and the serving sizes were great for the price. Would highly recommend and return.
