Yesterday a resident at the Kahl home was having multiple problems with their cell phone. I was able to take it over to Austin at Fruit Fixer. Austin checked out the phone and located the problem. She had dropped it so many times a part needed to be replaced. Plus, she had turned off the ringer without knowing it. Austin was efficient, kind, caring, and found the problem immediately. It was repaired within an hour. He was kind enough to provide an explanation. When you are over 70 the tech knowledge is not part of your daily life and vocabulary. I thanked him multiple times for helping this resident out. We all forget some times out phones are our only means of communication with out family and medical personnel. FAST EFFICIENT SKILLED AS WELL AS COURTEOUS read more

They broke my switch while "fixing" it and blamed it on us because they didn't want to take accountability.

Went in to have my iPhone charging port cleaned. Caleb at the Bettendorf location was extremely helpful and courteous - he even looked at the phone under a microscope to ensure the port was not damaged. Would definitely recommend you have your Apple products serviced at Fruit Fixer! read more

Yeah......no. I agree with the last review, zero stars fits this business just right, I Went in with a broken iPad keyboard, they seemed just fine and said that they could have it in a couple hours. No phone calls, so I went in 3 1/2 hours later to see what was going on. Total personality change. They couldn't do anything with the keyboard, and got kind of snarky about it insinuated it might've been my typing, to which I kind of laughed and said " oh Lord! " To which I got the reply: "so are you going to do the talking or am I.? " wow! Attitude much? So I got my pad and left never to return. I have a.feeling these people won't be around forever...good attitude to start...... very nasty and demeaning at the end. Who needs that?! Bye! read more

I had talked to them before for advice on a computer upgrade and they advised me against it due to the upgrade being more than the computer was worth. I was intrigued by a business that didn't want my money when I was willing to spend it with them. While I was there I noticed that they did a lot of work on repairing damaged cell phones. Fast forward to now and I happen to have a 2 month old iPhone SE that I wanted to get the screen protected. I walked in and talked to Jason, who was in the middle of replacing a screen screen on a damaged iPhone. I asked him what type of protection he used for his own cell phone. Without missing a beat he told me what he used, so I asked him the price and how long it would take. The price was great ($29.99) with labor and a good warranty included! I asked if I needed to come back to get it installed and he said give him a few minutes and it would be done. I had him do it and am very pleased with the product and the fact service! He rang up my purchase, installed my new screen protector, and went back and finished the phone he had been working on while he gave me further advice about protecting a New Kindle 10" tablet. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and super efficient with his work. I "HIGHLY' recommend Fruit Fixer and next month will bring in my wife's iPhone to get the screen protection upgraded to top level also. Expert service, knowledgeable staff (Jason), and top protection at a very reasonable price! read more

Took my grandson's phone in because the screen stopped working. Mike was great with us. He explained the possible problems, and tried to fix it with the least amount of cost to us. He did fix the issue for us. read more

Great service. Took iPad in for service and they were able to fix and turn it around within 24hr. Professional and courteous.

Its vendors like these for whom Yelp should start a zero star rating. I brought in two iPhones. They replaced both screens. They next day one started cracking. It was in the case and there was no impact. It was clearly a workmanship or material issue. They refused to stand by their work. The employee got snarky about it calling it user damage. I just called my credit card company and had them refuse payment. Go somewhere else. read more

Brought phone in for charging port repair. They destroyed the phone. I am waiting to find out if they will replace it. I was surprised they didn't offer too. I had to ask and they are going to contact "the owner" to see how to handle. Never going back. read more

Go anywhere else but here! I was hoping to find a local company for apple device repairs for our company. We are a construction company with 46 apple devices between iPads and iPhones. I took in 1 iPad Air 2 with a cracked screen... nothing crazy or overly complicated... just a cracked screen. The original online appointment I made was not honored. I was told their internet was down and they didn't receive it, but they could go ahead and order the part needed to replace and it would be 3-4 days. No one called, and I finally called them 8 days later to find out that yes they did have the part. So I drove back (35 minute drive each way) to drop off the iPad. He told me it would be ready by the next morning. I got busy at work the next day and they even called that afternoon to tell me it was ready to be picked up. I told him I would be there the next day to pick it up. When I arrived the next afternoon, I was told the device was actually NOT ready, but no one bothered to call and let me know so I wasted over an hour of my day driving there and back for no reason. Two days later I receive a voicemail from them stating that the technician had broken a piece off of the motherboard while replacing the screen and now it would have to be sent somewhere else for further repairs that would take another week to week and a half. This whole ordeal took almost a month to replace the screen on an iPad and they tried to remedy the situation with a whole $5 off the total price. I will never take another device to this place and I will tell anyone who will listen what an awful experience this was. If you decide to try this place anyway, and you are greeted by a technician named Noah... RUN!!! read more
