Please make sure you are aware of the hours that this place is actually open before you consider…read morerenting anything! You should also know that the hours posted are actually "suggested" hours, and they are likely not going to be there anyway. If you call, you won't be able to leave a message because the inbox is full. If you text or instant message they won't respond for days. If you need examples I am more than willing to show those to you. You will spend $100's of dollars and get zero customer service, and the week of the wedding find out that 75% of the items don't fit because they didn't measure anyone and then ordered things incorrectly. Then they will tell you that must come in THAT day or you aren't guaranteed the correct vests reordered (because they ordered the wrong ones in the first place). You will show up at 4:00 when they open but they will be closed (like the last 3 days you showed up at 4:00 - finding the store closed). You will text and IM, only to have someone show up at 5:15 to finally OPEN the store when they close at 6:00!!! If you enjoy extra stress on a wedding week, this is the place to go. If you could do without it (because you have enough things to stress about) PLEASE consider ANY OTHER rental shop but this one. You will regret using Celebrate QC, that is a promise! Kris Pauli

We're alright. You don't have to spend a lot to look good, but a little extra never hurt. Shirts, suits, and ties at The Gentry Shop may cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. This is a haberdashery, not the denim and gun aisle at Walmart. Gentlemen of height greater than average will appreciate the fine tailoring done here, particularly with respect to neckties. For those 6'2" and above--not an insignificant percentage of modern American males--standard length ties will simply not do the job. Starting a unicorn ranch is easier than finding handsome, quality extra long ties. But there's hope. The Gentry Shop (although they do have a few good long ties) will expertly lengthen a regular tie and ship it to you. You may be wearing a once lilliputian cravat, but your friends and colleagues will be none the wiser, and compliments will commence. The Gentry Shop...for those foppish dandies who tip their caps at jaunty, rakish, or even saucy angles.

When Michelle at The Gentry Shop heard my dilemma, her instant response was, "Will same day work?" The motorhome I live in was right outside the door, so I decided to wait "at home" in their parking lot. To put icing on the cake, she and the owner personally delivered it all. Door to door service. I needed to rent a tux for my daughter's wedding, and nothing was fitting properly. One of the owners (don't remember his name) was astonishingly rude, and very aggressive and demeaning towards my wife and I. Since nothing fit at all, we decided to take our business elsewhere and requested a refund. The owner REFUSED to refund a dime of our money, even though nothing was rented, and no services were ever rendered. In the end we had to go about it the hard way by way of a chargeback dispute through my bank...Which we WON. Oh, and we took our business to Men's Warehouse, where they had me taken care of in about an hour, with a tux that fit great, along with amazing customer service.

MAN does it pain me to write this review. I've had a love affair with Von Maur for over a decade…read more And boy, oh boy do I miss my random shopping getaways pre-pandemic. It has been my go-to for formal wear, Iowa Hawkeye gear, shoes, accessories, swimwear and more over the years. But this summer they changed their return policy. I think a lot of it is pretty standard... - Return within 90 days with a receipt: Receive purchase price back to original form of payment - Return after 90 days with receipt or anytime with a gift receipt: Receive purchase price as merchandise credit only. - Return without a receipt: Receive current selling price as merchandise credit only. My issue with this change is with their new FINAL SALE policy. - They cut the tags off your brand new items to ensure you can't return them. Therefore my newly purchased, never worn item that I just so happened to score a great deal on... looks not new. Possible pre-owned. What if I planned to gift someone that item? Don't they deserve to know it hasn't been worn and is right off the rack? (Or in my case, I got a supposedly unworn bikini without any tags... which was unexpected. And kind of weirded me out.) If you need to scribble on the tag, over the barcode-- go for it. But I go to Von Maur for the experience and the unique items sold there. It is tacky and off brand to send new items sans tag. (And when I contacted customer service to express my opinion about said two piece. I was basically shrugged off.) I buy plenty of thrift items for myself and even they include a tag... just sayin. This would be a two star, just because of how I feel about the new changes. But I still stand by Von Maur as a quality store. This change may stop me from getting certain items here now. (#shopsmall, #shoplocal) But it shouldn't deter you from getting full-priced items here!
