I keep trying to tell Hubs that yogurt is nearly indiscernible from ice cream. Kind of tough when I realize most of these flavors really do taste like a powder mix. There's a zillion toppings to choose from but of course the weightiest toppings come at a steep price. My seriously big gripe though is no child size cups - just two sizes - bucket and trough. Very Poor Service! We came to Frozen Falls in Basking Ridge to finish off the night after dinner. This is how you end the night on a sour note. The staff was 2 young college students, working on a Saturday night. Frozen Falls was open for another hour, and the staff had already put away half the toppings. Nothing fresh, nothing to choose from except what was in plastic serving tubs on the wall, that stay out overnight, every night. Two of the yogurt machine dispensers that we tried were empty( one was vanilla), and they told us to choose from the others, which were our third and forth choices. The workers couldn't get out of there fast enough. They almost threw us our change. What were they going to do for the OTHER 45 minutes? There were two other couples in the store, and they said they experienced the same thing. I'll stick with the more popular store in Warren the next town over. read more

This place has THE BEST frozen yogurt in the area. Staff is always very friendly and helpful and there are always new options for frozen yogurt flavors. It's so much better than the Red Mango down the road. Even better is that it's locally owned and the owners care about the community. They also have a location in Branchburg (by RVCC) that is great as well. read more

I love Frozen Falls! Their flavors are great, the toppings are never-ending, and the decor is fun. The only problem I have with them is that they say they close at 10:00 but begin cleaning up around 9:15. I've gotten there around 9:30 on more than one occassion hoping that I could still have all the regular options, but they had already put away the toppings and started cleaning off the yogurt nozzles while the place was still packed with people. Once a little girl asked an employee why there weren't any toppings and the employee said "We have to start cleaning because we're closing soon". It wasn't even 9:30! I understand wanting to close early if the store is empty a little before 10, but when there are still people coming in, they shouldn't be cleaning up. It's unprofessional. read more

Great frozen yogurt...there are a ton of these places out there and it's hard to differentiate between them. The differentiating factors for Frozen Falls are: 1) the variety/creativity of the yogurt selections and 2) the variety of the topping selections. Frozen Falls is higher than average in both, so you can have some creativity in making an interesting dessert. My only gripe is that they don't sell a small yogurt container, which makes it somewhat difficult to judge how much is a reasonable amount. read more

Large selection of frozen yogurts but overpriced. I got a relatively small cup with just a few toppings and it came out to more than $6 dollars. The florescent lights, plain white walls, and uncomfortable seating aren't exactly inviting either. I'll go every once and a while, but definitely not my favorite place. read more

Most unfriendly staff I've ever met. Prices are outrageous, owner came out in her slippers and told us to pick out our flavors faster because she wanted to go home. Meanwhile the closing time wasn't for another half hour. I asked for assistance and was ignored multiple times. By far the best frozen yogurt place in the area. They have a large variety of flavors and treats. There are some flavors that never change - these are mostly the staples like vanilla, chocolate, coffee, etc. but they also have new flavors - my current favorite is the Nutella hazelnut flavor. I also think there toppings are great & plentiful. Most importantly - they have whipped cream. Most froyo places don't have whipped cream (it doesn't weigh anything so it eats from a company's profit margin), so I appreciate that I can make a proper sundae there unlike most froyo places in the area. read more

This was my first time coming here and it will definitely be the last because of their rude staff and hostile environment. Not only were they hesitant to give a sample cup (which is standard at froyo/ice cream places), but were also completely unaccommodating of having mistakingly poured a wrong flavor. I have celiac disease and cannot eat several of their flavors, and it did not seem to matter at all. I would never recommend this place to someone - take your business to another place. read more

I used to be a huge fan of this place until my experience here the other night. My friend and I called at 9:30 to make sure they were open and we were told "yes until 10." My friend and I raced on over and made it they by 9:45. Upon our arrival, I was shocked to see that there were only about 7 flavors left to choose from even they had not even closed yet. I began to fill my cup with the peanut butter flavor when it quickly ran out. When I brought this to the staffs attention I was pretty much told I was SOL because they were "cleaning the machines in the morning and didn't feel like opening up a new tub of that flavor" I then went to add my toppings but they had all been put away except for the ones that are kept in plastic containers. When I asked for the Reese's cups the red headed employee rudely asked "uh how many scoops" And returned my cup back to me with a ridiculous amount of Reese's. I couldn't understand why everything was packed up and put away when the store was still open.... To Needless to say the red headed employee who works there needs to be taught some serious costumer service lessons or needs to be replaced ASAP. To top it off as my friend and I sat in our car eating our froyo because we obviously did not feel welcome to sit down and eat inside, we watched the two employees lock up and leave at 9:55 not 10:00... read more

2 years ago is when I discovered froyo and the nearest froyo place for me was 16 Handles which is almost 20 mins from here but I would go there every Friday because I was (obviously) OBSESSED. I thought that place had a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from but after going to Frozen Falls not a chance. Frozen Falls = best froyo on earth! read more

Great addition to Basking Ridge which is severely lacking in hangout spots. It remains my favorite Froyo place in the area as it has many more flavor options than other places. It also does not get as crowded as 16 Handles in Warren which can be ridiculous. It's a pleasant place with outdoor seating which is a nice touch. The kids who work there are very peppy and friendly and always offer samples even though they recognize us by now. LOTS of flavors and an entire wall of toppings, and then some. The cups in which they provide for you are a bit big though, so your eyes trick you into getting more yogurt that you actually intended because the big bowls make it look like you didn't get very much at all. I've been to Frozen Falls several times with my kids & we love it. The place is always super clean & the owner is so friendly. The other day I picked up a fro-yo pie for my hubby's bday. They make them custom...you choose the yogurt & toppings that can be mixed in and/or on top of the pie & it has a pie crust. I think they only do it for the holidays (ask the owner, she' so sweet she'll help you figure it out). It was fabulous! :-) Better than a regular ice cream cake because you customize it how you want it. We'll be going there for years to come. read more

I went into frozen falls last night with some friends and had a great experience. There were plenty of flavors to choose from, many of which were very unique and perfect for the fall. There was also a wide variety of toppings. The store was very clean and orderly. The staff was polite and friendly.
