Good service, great space and atmosphere but just okay beer. Both our beers were flat and not big fans of the plastic cups. I do appreciate the coffee and nonalcoholic options but not worth the 20 minute drive for us. read more

Not a bicycle freindly place at all. The beer is good though. The bike rack is located in the back of the building, where you cant see it. The bike rack is also surrounded by 6x6's, so you have to pick your bike up over the the 6x6's to park it in the bike rack. If you have a trailer on your bike then your not allowed to park it. It is too big. read more

This was so much fun to run across! We didn't even know this existed. My hubby and I went for a drive on the Colonial Parkway and on our way home ran in to this fun joint! There was live music and a flurry of activity both inside and outside and it seemed to have a family vibe but would still be great for group night out. I debated giving it four stars because of how slow the service was for the coffee, but it also seemed like the person was new. Our overall experience was so good. The atmosphere outside reminded me of some of the winery settings in CA. It made you feel like you could hang out there for hours. We enjoyed our drinks, listened to music, people watched, and just relaxed with a great crisp air night. read more

Lovely outside area! Enjoyed a wheat and dark beer here. Road our bikes from Colonial Parkway with a stop a Billsburg Brewery before riding over to Frothy. Liked atmosphere outside with many shady tables and a few areas in the sun. Inside was open with high ceilings and service was quick. Didn't try coffee so can't comment on it. Cyclists - it's a quick ride from Jamestown Settlement, mostly on a service road then onto a decently wide shoulder bike lane to Frothy. read more

Disgusting place, sterile inside and outside, and worst of all, EVERY draught beer (which in itself is mediocre and overpriced) is served in a throwaway PLASTIC cup--no other option offered. The last thing on the owners' mind is sustainability, and keeping Williamsburg and its natural environs beautiful. Boycott this place until they change their mentality! read more

This place is the total package! There brews are amazing , the staff friendly and knowledgeable about there brews. Top it off the serve amazing coffee! The outside fire pits are super plus, nice cozy new place . We have visited numerous times , always the same service. Great new spot! read more

It's a beautiful setting in the evening with the fire pits and the comfortable chairs. They did not have a food truck that day, which made things a little tough after having a few drinks but it was a great place to visit, chill and enjoy a few drinks. read more

The owner, or one of the partners I should say, is not a very nice person. He is rude, demeaning, and has real anger issues, and has had them since his time at the Brewery down the street. He was not fond of bands, glassware, and charity when he managed that place, but now he seems to embrace these things, maybe he is growing, or just patronizing the crowds for cash. The beer and coffee are marginal, not horrible, not great, but there is much better to be had out there and in nicer environments. The food trucks on site are nice in many cases, some not so much, but they try.I think both breweries on this road are average at best, much better beer at Alewerks and VBC, but it seems breweries are struggling here now, the market is changing, and over saturation of the market is very apparent here. read more

Very disappointed in this new brewery! We regularly vacation in Williamsburg and checking out breweries is always a fun experience. This was THE WORST brewery, well I should say place in general, that I've ever been to. The owner was extremely rude and the rest of the staff weren't any better. Most, if not all, breweries are welcoming to young families and I have to say if you have kids, do not go here!!! You will not be welcome. I hate to leave such a poor review but had I known this in advance, I would have picked one of the other fabulous, welcoming breweries in town. Save your time and go somewhere else! read more

Absolutely a horrible place to go. The staff are not even the slightest bit welcoming to people of color. They clearly lack the ability to properly and efficiently communicate with patrons, that is without lacing it with disdain. Not to mention, the parking situation leaves much to be desired: No clear navigation or direction and stones that do murder on the tires. so be prepared to be accosted by white alpha males who believe yelling is a form of communication. So to all my beautiful people of color, avoid this place if you want to be treated with respect and dignity. read more

Our first time at the Frothy Moon. Nice and clean brewhouse. We sat outside. We had a couple of pines of their hazy IPA. Wasn't bad. Price was decent. Good selection of brews and a coffee option too. I can see why they don't serve beer in a glass pint since a lot of folks are taking their brews outside on their LARGE patio. I'll probably go back again some time. read more

I have been here several times this past year and the best I can say is they have all three things in their coffee beer atmosphere tagline, but that doesn't mean they are any good. The coffee is marginally better than the 7/11 across the street and it is better than the beer. Tried most of the beers (have friends that know the lady owner, but the guy who owns it is a real D) and I come here only because of my friends. The taste of the beer reminds me of the brass cannon brewery that used to be by alewerks. Not great. It's uncomfortable every time I see the guy that owns the place be rude to customers. Like seriously try not to actively get rid of the people who pay money for your stuff. I normally don't bother leaving anything but positive reviews but I figure if I can see and hear the owner being rude to customers and more than once or twice well then I have no problem just saying how it is. I love beer and coffee just not here. read more
