I loved the pasta. The lavender cookie is a must try. The subtle hint of lavender in the shortbread cookie just takes you to a peaceful place. The service was good. My only complaint was the server never ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks. The food was brought promptly. The gentleman who took my reservations over the phone, was above par. He was very friendly and very accommodating. I appreciated his willingness to work with our request, as I was coming from Indianapolis. This is definitely a place you can go to get a nice lunch and really feel at ease and peaceful. No cell phones here. They request you keep them away and enjoy your environment. Which is very inviting. The outside is so tranquil; just sit and see all the wonders around you. The trees, birds, flowers, ahhhh. If you've not been, I would recommend calling in and making reservations. This restaurant should be on your list for: Things to do.

This will probably be the best ribs you've ever tasted. They are smoked and then fried. Very, very tasty. They had a special the night we were there for a tomahawk steak. A person in our party of five ordered it. Yes, he actually ate it all. The side order of scallops were very small. I would not recommend ordering them. This place also has outdoor seating with umbrellas. We opted to sit inside this time, but we have sit outside many of times. Great place, great employees, and excellent food. Wait time for food was slow and one of the owners was not very nice to "his" staff. He did this known in front of customers, which I thought was a real negative. Hence the four stars. The owner had wait staff serve "local celebrities" before others. The food, wait staff and cook are definitely five stars!

The staff were friendly (only spoke a little English), but ordering was super easy. The enchiladas were spicier than normal (both verde and rojo sauces), but it left a good flavor behind. The tortillas were homemade and filled with the tastiest, moistest shredded chicken I've had in an enchilada. It was topped with the sauce, shredded lettuce, cojita cheese, some sort of crema sauce, and sliced onions upon request. The chips and salsa served when we sat were fresh and homemade to perfection. The restrooms were recently remodeled and immaculate beyond belief. When you enter the restaurant, continue through the small shop and ice cream parlor to the back where you can order food at the table or to-go. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items on the menu! If I could give them more stars, I would.
