After meeting Dr Dorman I will only ever see him for dental care, ever again. I've found the best dentist in Alaska so why go anywhere else ever again! After my year plus dental care experience with Dr Dorman was completed I convinced my Mother to see Dr Dorman too. My Mom was very apprehensive as she had a previous very negative experience with a dentist that would not listen and even when I went with her to speak for her the dentist did not listen or care she was in pain or that her dentures did not fit right. So she was apprehensive of Dr Dorman until she actually met him. He noticed her fear and deftly reassured and made sure she was comfortable speaking up about what was not right with her teeth. Dr Dorman proceeded to fix her old dentures so that when we left my Mom was actually amazed and glowing. The relief of having properly fitted dentures changed her whole outlook on food, on wearing her dentures, on dental care and dentists as a whole. My very quiet Mom talked and talked about what an amazing person and dentist Dr Dorman was and how great her mouth felt to finally be comfortable and pain free. Dr Dorman treated my Mom with respect and he LISTENED and made sure she left with very comfortable dentures and a happy pain free mouth. Dr Dorman also treated my sister with Down's Syndrome which is a challenge on a good day. She didn't even bite him so they both got something out of the visit! Dr Dorman is patient, kind and above all gentle. Dr Dorman made my family feel secure, comfortable and he fixed all of our teeth with gentle hands and a great attitude. Thank you Dr Dorman-you are the best dentist EVER and I've seen a lot! Your staff is wonderful too, especially Lisa; your assistant and your front desk person whose name starts with a Z and I feels so bad that I can't remember her name because she was so nice and helpful for my many visits. Everyone went out of their way to help my family and we sincerely thank you!

He referred me to an endodontist to get a root canal done, then he finished my filling. I felt very confident in his abilities. I've also had a cleaning by the hygienist here twice, and she was also very calm and careful. I highly recommend.

He's always made sure my teeth are perfect before I leave the chair. Dr. Pauli made two crowns for me a few years ago and they are great. I know for sure how great they are now that I have a sucky crown to compare them to. The one I got finished today has a poor margin(?)...whatever the area is between the bottom of the crown and the gumline. I'm afraid it is not a good seal. And also my bite is terrible right now. I'll have to go back and ask them to work on it. What I'm trying to say is that Dr. Pauli would never say the work is done unless it is perfect. Also, if the same hygienist is there from a few years back, she is really nice.

Upon relocating in Sept, I was due for a teeth cleaning and gave their office a ring to see about getting set up for an appointment, as all my previous experiences here were very positive. I found the same professional atmosphere and friendliness that I remembered. From the front desk receptionist, to the dental assistants, to the current Dr-in-charge, everyone was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable; as enjoyable as a dentists office can be ;). They even still had previous dental records on file which was very nice to find out. My after visit communications with the front desk staff have been very timely and responsive as well. So far so good, I would recommend this office.

The entire staff at the office is super nice and everyone is amazing with the kids! They make the kids feel super comfortable there. At the end of every visit, my daughter loves being able to pick out a lil toy from their toy bin. Scheduling an appointment is easy. They do get booked out quite often so try to schedule everything in advance. They have a great reminder system as well - email & text so you'll never forget an appointment.

I left Anchorage Midtown Dental disgusted that kids crying and in dental pain is not emergent unless you pay their appointment fee upfront. In my situation it was only $150, but to only get told that they were going to refer us to a Pediatric Dentist and the xrays the dental assist took were "worthless" because they did not even get the entire tooth/roots so I had to have them redone when I went to Kids Dental Tree and pay for the xrays and exam.... again. I am in the Medical field, and was very disappointed that this is the kind of Dental care out there and especially when it comes to my child. I do not have insurance for my daughter, and during this stressful time of my daughters dental Emergency I knew it was going to cost me quite a bit of cash. Dr Keller was understanding of my daughters dental needs, our families financial situation, and provided my daughter with outstanding care. I would definitely recommend him to others, and trust him with my daughters dental needs again in the future.

Their waiting area is bright, open, and clean. But also includes lots to keep the kiddos occupied. Their entire office is covered in glass windows that allow you to see the beautiful Anchorage back drop whenever you wish. I have taken my neurodivergent kids to Alaska Dentistry a few times now. We are always welcomed, kept in the loop, and dental services performed are thorough yet fast. Recently, I made an appt for all (3) of my kids to be seen at the same time, and we were in and out in less than an hour. We SO appreciate that. One of my kids has high support needs and is non-verbal. I love how both the dental assistants and doctors are able to work with and around this. Keeping everyone comfortable but also informed. Dr. Copeland has a great sense of humor and he's great at what he does. His protege Dr. Cody is thee best! Dental assistants: Ryan, Felix and Gerianne are phenomenal. Alaska Dentistry is a bit of an all-inclusive. They do sedations here (our next experience), and even Invisalign! Highly recommend!

After they thought they had hung up a follow up phone call…read morethey referred to my 12 y/o cousin as a drama queen for saying she was in pain in the area they worked on while eating and opening her mouth too wide. Even though his dental assistant mentioned during the appointment she WOULD have pain and to treat with ibuprofen or tylenol. Then at her second appointment "Dr". Coplin told her he didn't need her "attitude" because she was expressing where her obvious pain was when he asked. She was crying and ended up leaving. Learn to treat your patients with respect and trust that when they say they're in pain, they are. What reason do you think a 12 year old had to lie about her mouth being in pain?? Disgusting behavior. While we highly praised and recommended you guys before this, we will never think to do so again. For a place specializing in child care, this is no place to bring your child.
