This place has a really cool interior. The photos on Yelp are a bit outdated, and some reviews don't do justice to the great taste and flavor here. The shaved ice is smooth and cold, and the young staff are friendly and happy to be there. They were fast, courteous, and attentive to detail with your order. The inside has an old-school ice cream parlor vibe, with three booths and two bar stool tables where you can sit and enjoy your time. They serve not only shaved ice but also ice cream, ice floats, shakes, sour pickles, and cold brewed coffees. All the ice cream is Blue Bell. There are plenty of sizes to choose from, including a 32oz option called Frost Bite. I can imagine it being cold because the large was pretty chilly! My favorite is the Fiestanator, formerly known as the Mexicanator. I was disappointed with the name change, but I understand it's due to societal changes. If you like pickles and chile, you should try it. They can serve it with chamoy or Kool-Aid flavor, and both mixes taste great. Today, I brought my brother and his family here from the DFW area to share the great experiences I've had. When I ordered, I requested one to go, but I don't think the cashier heard me or remembered. However, the owner noticed and asked if I would like another one. I appreciated the attentiveness and care. She didn't have to do that, but it was greatly appreciated. On busy days, it's much easier to go inside and order than to use the drive-through. I really hope they can expand to a newer building with a bigger drive-through someday. Snow cones hit the spot on a hot summer day...especially these days with 100+ weather. Right now they are drive through only which we completely messed up! So don't make the same mistake and get your kids out of the car trying to go inside. Once you order they'll bring it out to your car. Think of it like your local sonic but for just snow cones! There are tons of flavors and if you don't know what you want they staff can help. We wanted something rainbow for the kids and they definitely delivered. There are snow cones without the top called a kids size. This really helped keep down the mess in the backseats. I think I got the bahama mama which was yummy but the small size above the kids size was a bit much for me as there was A LOT of syrup. There are also sugar free options in case you need those. Keep in mind, they don't start freezing the ice for your sno-cone until you place and pay for your order. That's the only explanation I can think of for how long it takes to get a single sno-cone order. In the time it took for the employee to run my card, the single flavor, medium sno-cone I ordered could have been made. The employee pointed to all of the cars in the parking lot to explain the long wait time, but as I pulled in, I noticed that about 10 of those cars were parked at adjacent businesses. I only saw 2 other occupied cars in the parking lot. So that's not the reason. ETA: I just left WITHOUT the order I paid for. After 40 minutes of waiting, I called them. They said they brought out my order but said I wasn't there. Really? REALLY?? I parked exactly where they told me to park in the very uncrowded parking lot! I told them all they had to do is LOOK and they'd have found me. When I asked them how long it takes to make a sno cone, the person I was talking to told me I could come inside and make it myself and see how easy it is - clearly being sarcastic and rude. I genuinely would like to know the process. Maybe 20-40 minutes is warranted. I know the syrup pouring part is quick, but the ice? Please educate me so I understand. Gees. Not even being sarcastic. I'd like to know. I told them there was no need to be rude, they said something unintelligible and, unbeknownst to me, handed the phone to someone else who stopped me and said "wait. I don't know what's going on here, they just handed me the phone." Brilliant. They repeated what the previous person said about me not being there, which I disputed, then asked me if I wanted them to remake it or what and I said "no because you'll probably spit in it." (Given the lack of maturity of everyone I dealt with, I feel that probability was quite high.) They said they could refund me, but I told them "it's not worth waiting another 40 minutes because you suck." Not proud of the "you suck" part, but it's done. Btw, there are NO adults working here and I suspect the kids are left to figure things out on their own. Not that kids can't. Just not THESE kids. They are all poorly trained, rude, clueless teenagers. I have nothing against teenagers. I've worked with some very polite, driven, professional, courteous teenagers lately. These are not among them. Who ever owns or "runs" this place has set these ooor kids up to fail and should be ashamed at that as well as how inefficiently run their business is. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I've been on the hunt for a new special occasion treat spot for my pups - the vet said no more pup cups or other high fat foods. The staff was kind enough to help me pick out a sliced fruit cup & checked that there was no added sweetener/xylitol that would harm dogs. I took the obligatory mom's drive through tax of one bite before giving it to the pups and the strawberries were fresh and naturally sweet. The people in the car got a blue coconut snow cone and a watermelon sour warhead snow cone. The small size was perfect and I liked the level 5 on the warhead sour scale. If you want the same level of sour as the actual warhead candy I suggest ordering a higher level. We will definitely be back with our fur babies! read more

One came out correct, the other didn't but I didn't realize it until I got home. I asked for cream on mine which is an extra charge and it wasn't on my snocone. I asked for a small sno-cone in a bigger cup so it wouldn't melt all over my car. I discovered Frost Bites last summer during my first year in Pflugerville. I've always loved anything frozen and sweet and I like to think that I've had my fair share of sno cones over the year, but these are quite possibly some of the best I've had. They are so fluffy and they don't skimp on the syrup at all. I got so addicted that I had to stick with just the sugar free flavors in an attempt to keep my waistline in check and all of my teeth. The folks that work here are always exceedingly nice, are super helpful, and will remember your face if you come around enough.
