His proposal would remove both the upstairs and downstairs units and install a variable speed single zoned system with a dehumidifier. Tyler's solution was less expensive than our other finalist, and very competitive with the other bids. Every question was answered quickly and thoroughly. In the end, however, there were some specific things about the thermostat that the other option handled better for our needs, though most people would probably not notice. I had recently had my AC cleaned by another company and then when they left it stopped working. I suspected foul play, so I called CB AIR. Christian identified the problem on the system that was previously cleaned and he found two wires not connected. The two wires that needed to be connected to run the AC. I thought it was odd that after the other company charged me $1850 to clean the fan and coils, his parting words were "don't expect this cleaning to make your system cool your house." It has benefitted me in scheduling AND pricing! I had my yearly inspection/tune up with ALONSO P. He was very professional, easy to talk to, and thorough, including changing my filter. He covered his shoes and petted my doggie!! Several days later, we had horrendous storms in my area, and several of my switches and outlets had been zapped and would not work. I called for service, and JAKE S. came the VERY NEXT DAY!!! I had been added to his schedule, so it was later in the evening. Again, Jake was very pleasant, and thorough. He checked every problem I pointed out, and, lickety-split, FIXED EVERYTHING, including my high stairway pendant light and my thermostat!!!
