Ian is a great driver! Ian works for Frontier. I had a very difficult towjob: a steep driveway which turned sharply right into a garage. His towtruck had very little room to maneuver. The car was inoperable and I couldn't get it out of park. Ian knew some tricks. He found a way to get it into neutral and very carefully backed and filled even though there was almost no room for his flatbed! He got my car to the mechanic's without a scratch. Yeah, they're expensive ($100 hookup plus $6/mile), but he performed perfectly in a very difficult situation. read more

We had a non running vehicle moved from one house to another and the driver dropped the vehicle to close to a brick wall and hit the wall damaging the wall but refuses to accept fault and fix the damages even after the driver and manager both said the driver was at fault. read more

I had a complex towing situation that AAA simply abandoned, so I asked around various towing shops, ultimately ending up calling Frontier. They did the job effeciently and at a reasonable cost, and I liked that outcome enough to use them again a few days later. My experience was positive for a few reasons, I suspect: - I scheduled for a tow for five days in the future - I understood and expected to pay more than a basic side-of-the-road tow - They asked for a lot of details which I could provide - They pulled up my location on Google Maps (or something similar) so they could really understand the situation - Literally no other towing company would even quote the job given the details Actual pricing matched the estimate on both tows, and the gentleman they sent out really knew his stuff and made the whole thing happen really quickly and safely. So yea, I recommend Frontier based on my experience. read more

Literally worst service ever. I would leave zero stars but have to give them one to be able to warn others to avoid this company like the plague. We had called for a tow as our truck had broken down at 7:37pm. The dispatch said eta for a tow truck was going to be 45 minutes to an hour. We waited for an hour and 20 minutes with no sign of a truck. When we called them back the person told us the driver had come by and told them there was already a tow truck onsite. We never saw a tow truck and we were literally sitting in a vacant parking lot with no other cars. We would have sat in a vacant parking lot all night waiting stranded if we wouldn't have called them back to check. Their dispatch should have called us to confirm that we didn't need at tow before just believing a lying driver. If you are looking for a towing company I would NOT use Frontier. read more

They were reasonable and had the tow truck for the job! I will definitely use them again when the need arises

Was cut off by the driver of this company. He did not believe in using a turn signal while carrying a Tucson parks and recreation vehicle on his flat bed. Called the towing company and they don't even care how unsafe their drivers are as long as they get their towing to the place. Very rude dispatch and does not have a supervisor on duty. It seems like this business would rather try and kill someone and get their toes to where ever they need to go. I would not ever use this company as they are rude unsafe uncaring if someone would get hit by their trucks or anything else for that fact as long as they can make that dollar.i would rate this company less than a one star more like a negative 60 for how unsafe they are. read more

My car broke down on the side of the road and within 25 minutes frontier towing was there to help. Benny was the driver who was very kind and respectful and helped me calm down because I was panicking. Will definitely always be using this company when I have an emergency! read more

My car's ignition was broken and I was unable to to go anywhere. I was stuck at a Walgreens and had no one to help me. I called Frontier towing and Michael Moore from Tucson City Towing showed up quickly. He took the care getting my car out of a tight parking spot and and took me to the dealership. I highly recommend Michael for any tow you need. read more

True to form for most tow truck establishments, these people are assholes. I am an insured driver on a vehicle that was in a collision. They never asked for a registration with my name on it before towing it but they wont let me come down and remove my belongings without dragging the registered owner from Phoenix with me. We are talking about a garage door opener here. And they wont take it out either. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

If I could give no stars I would, the worst place I have ever been period, went through the wrong door and got an attitude by the secretary right off the bat, then even though I called and they told me that I needed my ID and my vin number when I got there she was a snob and had a chip on her shoulder when she told me that I needed my ID and my registration or my title I went there on my lunch because I live in Marana and work on St. Mary's and the freeway and they are only open M-F 800-400OPM WORST HOURS EVER, I work and most people work between those times, I proceeded to tell the secretary that when I called that is not what they told me and she said that I obviously didn't ask the right questions, ummmm excuse me isn't that your job not mine SMH she should not work there my car is totaled and I needed my glasses out of my car, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS !!!!!! read more

So sad! My first one star review :( I'll keep it short and not so sweet. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called today to have my brothers SUV towed because he was stranded on the side of the interstate with car troubles. The guy on the phone was so stinkin rude! I couldn't believe it. He made me feel like the biggest idiot because: A.) My brother got a ride to work and didn't leave the keys in the car. The guy insisted he would not tow the car without the keys so I needed to find a way to get them there. B.) I didn't know what shop my brother wanted it taken to (because he didn't want it taken to one). The guy said he I had to find a shop to take it to to have it repaired. My brother is having his buddy repair it so it just needed to be taken to a yard for now. C.) The guy told me "You know you're going to have to pay for this right?" DUH! I wish I could have recorded the conversation. It was so offensive that I stopped him in the middle of his "lecture" to let him know I was very disappointed in his tone and demeanor and was no longer interested in their services. Good news is I called Auto and Truck Salvage Co. immediately after and they were happy to tow without keys to a yard for holding. I will gladly pay them for services rendered. SMH.... read more

These guys are horrible! First off, they said they would be there to pick up in 90 minutes. 3 1/2 hours later they showed up. This was after repeated phone calls to them and they said, "your next on the list." The driver was very courteous and professional. He explained that their dispatch and call takers take their time. The drivers only go when and where they are told. He explained the service side (phone call takers) are not very prompt with diseminating the info of pickup needed. This is related to them having the local sheriff contract. They keep drivers sitting around incase the police need them. The business also has a guaranteed check going in from the county, so customer service is very poor. If you don't mind waiting half a day and being treated like you don't matter, call them. I sure won't use them again. read more

My girlfriend broke down on the side of a road and was towed to their yard about 8pm. The gentleman, Tom B, called a cab company for her. When they didn't arrive he called again and when they failed to show up, he called another cab company. At one point, despite the 30 degree weather, Tom even stood outside waiting for the cab to arrive. In the am, she realized she forgot her laptop in the front seat. (As with most tow companies, they have a bad reputation for stealing what is left in the car). She immediately called and spoke with Jeff. Jeff said he would call back after he looked into it. No more than 5 minutes later, Jeff called back and said he found the laptop and secured it! He also said the vehicle was already on its way to the dealership, we didn't even have to ask or hound them to take it to the dealer. They took it to the dealer as promised the night before. Awesome service, courteous and professional employees. A+ business. ++++++ read more

Late last night around 11:30 pm on Wilmot Rd in Tucson, my SUV died (found out today that the alternator went out). My wife researched and found Frontier Towing. My wife relayed the information to dispatch and he said they would be leaving in about 10 minutes. I only had to wait about 20 minutes before the Tow Truck showed. Andy, the driver, was very friendly and professional. We towed my vehicle to Desert Toyota (will review their service later) and he dropped the vehicle off in their service lot (he patiently waited while I spoke to the security guard who let us in). Thank you Frontier! 100% recommended. read more

This place is chock full of swindlers. I had a rental car towed to this God forsaken place and when I went the next day to retrieve the car I was told they are Monday-Friday. I work M-F in Scottsdale where I live. I begged to get the car because I had to return it to the private renter I was renting from. She agreed but I needed notarized letters and a whole bunch of things so the man I was renting from had to leave work TWICE(!) to get them for this person. Apparently a rental agreement on an app is WAY to futuristic for this po-dunk establishment. This CU Next Tuesday who called herself "dispatch" was the most unpleasant person I've ever encountered in my life. They also charged me and extra 200 dollars for the manager to come in to give me the car. There was a sign outside that said the extra fee was 35 dollars but that was whited out so they can fleece people however they like. Do yourself a favor DO NOT GET YOUR CAR TOWED BY THESE PEOPLE. I scheduled an appointment in advance with Frontier Towing to come pick up my vehicle. Frontier gave me a two hour window. At 10 minutes before that window closed I called Frontier and asked them for an ETA. I was told that the driver was on his way from a couple miles away and that a receipt for pick up would be emailed to me immediately. An hour later I am rolling the vehicle back into my yard and I hear the tow truck coming down the street. I ask the driver what happened, if he was okay. Driver told me that he had to go back to their shop to get tow straps. I asked if he brought the receipt paperwork as well (the email receipt was never sent). He had no clue what a receipt was. I went inside my house to call Frontier dispatch and asked about the paperwork and why did they not have the courtesy to inform me that they would be an hour late. Frontier dispatch informed me that this time he would email me a pick up receipt but now I would have to wait another 2x hours because he sent the driver onto another call. read more

Very reasonable, courteous and always updated me when I asked for the time of arrival. If you are in a hazardous place, like blocking a busy road and no place to safely get off the road, please tell them and they will prioritize you. Safety is important to them. Call Frontier first :) read more

I had a great towing experience with Frontier Towing yesterday. They answered the phone promptly and took my information quickly. They told me how long it would take for the truck to reach me, about an hour, and it arrived on time. The equipment was well-maintained and organized and the driver was careful and took his time to ensure that our our truck was properly hooked up. The driver was very friendly and accomodated all 3 of us in his cab. I would definitely recommend Frontier Towing. read more

I have used Frontier Towing on four separate occasions. Twice from my home to a mechanic shop, once back from the same shop to my home, and again just recently from I-10/congress to the same shop at I-10/Ina. All towing was less than 10 miles. The first time I was quoted a price of $50 and felt I got value for the tow and received the same price for subsequent tows. The experience was here nor there and nothing to brag about (3 stars?). However, my last experience is worth my time to write this review. This last time and I do mean last time, I broke down at I-10 & Congress at 4:45pm on my way home from work. I called Frontier Towing and they dispatched "Andy" who was timely but rude in nature. When I walked up to the cab of his truck to greet him I was introduced with blaring heavy metal music and a cold greeting and minimal customer interaction. I felt as if I was putting him out. So needless to say the service sucked. Then Andy asked if "Ricardo" gave me a quote and I replayed "no". Andy went on to write the visa ticket writing $50 for the tow which I anticipated and then he added $30 for night time rates! He called in my card to Ricardo for approval and I asked him to pass on that this is my fourth tow with them and to please ask for the night time rate to be waved. My request was ignored by Andy only asking Ricardo day or night rates. I then called Ricardo directly and he started off by asking why I thought I should not have to pay the nighttime rate. As I made my case; a frequent user, it wasn't nighttime, rude service, etc. he got argumentative with me telling me that they don't keep records of frequent customers and that if I want 15 cent cheese burgers that I should go to Wendy's. Well I can tell you one thing Ricardo, I won't be using your sub standard customer service again and that the greedy extra $30 you charged me for "nighttime rates" inspired this review. Additionally, I will advise everyone I know not to use your company to include the shop that recommended you. For those of you who read this review and still use Frontier Towing, do yourself a favor and get a quote up front from Ricardo at the very minimum. read more

This is the shadiest company I've ever encountered. Dishonest, no written policies or consistent pricing (3 people told me 3 prices). There was damage to my car that wasn't there when I picked it up. The owner was supposed to come meet me to allow me to retrieve my car on the weekend. He never came, never called, and has still not returned a call about the damage. read more
