This is an ABSOLUTELY deplorable company. They are inefficient, non-communicative, and unresponsive for any and all requests made by their renters. They rent out properties in serioius disrepair with the promise that they will fix it, but then make excuses as to why they cannot fix it. On the rarity that they will send you a maintenience man, you can rest assure that they are ignorant, underqualified, and rude. They will insult your intelligence to ensure that they can make the cheapest repairs possible, rather than the necessary ones. And, if you require any follow-up than you can guarentee that will not happen. In my case, I made a request to be removed from a lease agreement when my husband and I seperated in July. I followed the protocol that they require, but never got any response in 3 different attempts to reach them. Now, in January, they are trying to find me liable for multiple months rent when I have not lived there in over 6 months and did my due dilagence to be removed properly. Rented property from the original owner of Frontier Properties who was ex ARMY and I was ex Air Force veteran. Unfortunately Mr. Brown sold his business to a very corrupt group of individuals who constantly raised the rent and tried extorting money from the first month they took over. Gave me 2 weeks to move out when my rental contract was over and said they would not renew contract. Left apartment in clean condition with my next door neighbor doing a walk through as Frontier Properties would not. Frontier Properties would not do a walk through while we were there and took my 1,250.00 dollar deposit and sent me to a collection agency for an additional 2,300.00 dollars for damages that I did not incur. This is a dangerous group and they will hurt your reputation and will end up stealing your money and extorting from you! Beware!!!! Would give them a zero rating if this was possible read more

Brinlee was supposed to show me a property for rent two times in the last two weeks. First time called to cancel because the property was having some maintience done, second time she called me twenty minutes before the showing to say maintence might still have the key...I asked if she would call me when she got them to schedule the showing. Six days later I call and the property had been rented out because someone filled out the application and was approved. Very unorganized, unhelpful and unprofessional! read more

I wish I had listened to the advice of others and not chosen this company to rent with. On my move in day, I went to pick up the keys to my new rental and the man working there had no idea I was coming and made no attempt to help me other than shoving a post it note with a phone number at me saying I should call someone else. When that didn't work he led me to the area where they keep everyone's keys and had me look through all of them to find my house number. He didn't even verify that I was the person I claimed to be, so I guess they'll just let anyone off the street go rummage through all their rentals' spare keys. After calling 3 ERA employees one of them finally called back and told me to go through her desk to get the deposit box key because the cleaning person had dropped my house keys there. Definitely didn't instill great confidence in them as landlords right off the bat. There were issues with the house I noticed during my move in inspection,(including very poor water pressure, leaking faucets, clogged drains, a gun shot hole in one of my closets, and a giant hole in my counter) and they told me not to worry about it because they knew about them and would make the repairs. Well 1 year later and the repairs have never been done and they claim that they don't have maintenance people working for them and could never get anyone out to fix it. I had to buy a special shower head myself in order to deal with virtually no water pressure in my shower. The clothes dryer is awful and takes multiple runs to dry even the smallest load. Now I've had my oven broken for over 2 months and they told me they'd order the part and have me install it myself. I had to call them again a month later because I never heard back and they're saying they are not going to fix it and they're just waiting for me to move out due to COVID-19. I understand they are having a hard time getting people to enter homes for repairs due to worries about the virus, but the poor communication and lack of effort is glaringly bad. This is not an isolated incident either. I know of at least 2 other ERA rentals that have the same problem, repairs left unfixed or shoddy band-aid fixes. If they deduct anything from your deposit, I don't know what they're doing with it, because clearly they aren't using it to make repairs. Shady company and homeowners. Awful communication, poor customer service, and disorganized team. Every time I call it seems like a different person is working there who claims to be new and ignorant of anything, which very telling. The woman who I dealt with when I first moved in even admitted that they had a lot of people quit, and that things were a mess so they weren't on top of anything. And she was completely right. Just about the only honest thing I've heard from them since I started renting here. If you can avoid renting from these people, do so, unless you enjoy getting ignored, and having things break and never getting fixed. Read up on your tenant rights if you end up in a place from them. They are getting away with illegal (not making repairs is a violation of tenant rights) practices because they can. Get your act together ERA, this is pathetic, unethical, and unprofessional. I would give 0 stars if possible! Do not rent from this company. As a veteran and physician made the mistake of renting from this group for 3 years. Originally company was owned by a great realtor who was ex army. Unfortunately, he sold the company to a very dishonest group who continually attempted to pad the monthly rent and when I left the rental was sent a bill for over 2,500 dollars in excess of the 1,250 dollar deposit (this disputed bill is now in collections and has hurt my credit).When I left the townhouse I had my next door neighbor go through the property with us as the realtor did not show up for the final walk through. The property was immaculate! Left it better than when we moved in. We only moved out because the owner of the property decided to sell the property. All incurred damages to the property were noted on the initial walk through, except for 1st floor flood/damage caused by a broken water pipe, caused by freezing (where the flood repairs by Frontier were inadequate) and resulted in floor damage which they blamed on me? I spent hours with a floor vacuum to remove the water as it was 2 days later they finally sent a company to repair the damage (who did not lift the carpet but only threw some water absorbent crystals on the carpet and vacuumed it up 2 hours later). These are dangerous people and they will try to ruin your credit! Avoid these guys at all cost!! read more

I can honestly tell anyone looking to rent in Cheyenne that while the property is decent, this is by far the worst property management company I have ever rented from. Unanswered maintenance requests for months (we still don't have a working dishwasher, over a year after our first request, 4 months from the last request and promise to fix it), unanswered calls, vague answers when we do get a hold of people, lost our rent check, called us at 9pm on a Friday night to accuse us of not paying our rent after losing our rent check, and the list goes on. I'm not one to leave bad reviews...but don't rent from Frontier if you value your time or sanity at all. read more

Frontier managed my rental for a little over a year. They do the bare minimum. I live out of state and don't visit the property that often. Upon my most recent visit in August 2018, I found the property dirty and poorly maintained. The yard was totally overgrown. Tenants were allowed to have a gas heater on the wooden porch (even though against terms of lease) and the quality of the renters deteriorated. I've owned the property since 2007 and never had a unit vacant for more than a month, but had a unit vacant for 5 months under their management. After I started looking into it, discovered they had a very poor quality advertisement for the unit with incorrect information - they were advertising the unit as a basement unit when in fact it was main floor. Additionally, the ad had only one very unflattering exterior picture. I never could access the owner's portal to check statements and even though I asked them to address this numerous times, they never did. Overall, I would say they are apathetic and just don't care about quality. Stay away from them if you want quality renters and a well maintained property. read more
