As all the other reviews said, they literally could not care less than they already don't. At first glance, it looks like an okay apartment which needed little work. I was with the understanding that they would do a deep clean before moving me in but no, I had to deep clean myself and there was a smell that I have noticed lives in the apartment carpet probably. There's mold all over the wooden windows and dirtfield as well and even the bathtub walls. Mind you, I do a deep clean every month to keep a fresh look. It's nasty and some of the maintenance people are super unprofessional and don't seem to care and do the bare minimum --i could have done myself, and it didn't resolve the underlying issue. They also broke one of the window openers, and promised to come fix it--that was last year (I'm sure they'll try to deduct from my security deposit). CPMG also charged me for another maintenance I requested, claiming I caused the issue and it was a ridiculous amount. I plan to move out this year since I've had way too many issues with them. IDK what I'm even paying for. The apartment itself is old and everything in it is super outdated, dusty, and any amount of cleaning I've done grosses me out bc I see how much more work is needed. Their office rep is also quite arrogant. She acts as if she owns everything and is rude about it (from the last time I stopped by. They may have a new office rep). The lack of good customer service does not render them the right to have customers. The house we moved into had rusty fishing hooks everywhere, washer was clogged with hair, pubic hair is the bathroom drawers, door handles falling off doors, in the master bath they left a rusty shower rod with a moldy shower curtain hanging with what appeared to be urine stains on it. Multiple other issues. I was left to take care of. And upon move out they still sent a bill for items that didn't even exist in the home. If I could give less then 1 star I totally would. They made multiple appointments to show me houses a week or more out and then would cancel them saying they already rented the apartment. Once I was finally able to view one. I had to pay an ungodly amount of money just for them to make sure I could live there. It took over a week to hear anything and even then they emailed me but never called. every time I did call to talk to someone they talked to you like they were better then you. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We originally were renting under Preferred and the owner switched to CPMG. Worse thing they could have ever done. We decided to downsize to a smaller place. Prior to our move while still renting our inspections ALWAYS and I am not exaggerating when I say ALWAYS, passed with 100% satisfaction. A couple times they mentioned that they wished all tenants were as we were. Upon moving for the purpose as mentioned, to downsize, we cleaned throughly and even had the house professionally cleaned. It was immaculate. Carpets cleaned as well. This company not only failed to refund our deposit of $1300 they charged us an additional $300 under the premise that the house needed cleaning and they had to replace a light bulb or two. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional place in my life. In the midst of the pandemic we have had money issues like every other American. however, our rent was always paid, if we were running late on a utility bill this company will charge you for it. We have had tragedy come up this year including the passing of my father and my vehicle being totaled by a drunk driving in front of our home. After being told that they were tacking even more fees on to our rent, I was frustrated with the front desk girl. She was so incredibly rude and very clearly enjoyed telling me I owed them money. Later that day we got a letter saying they would not renew our lease. They are horrible greedy people. And just a nice little cherry on top, our home was infested with mice that they did NOTHING about. read more

Cheyenne property showed me a house with a washer dryer and pictures of a washer dryer in advertisement photos. When I read the lease I noticed a washer dryer not checked. I called the office and asked they, they claimed they checked and yes there was a washer dryer, that was oversight and to check the boxes and sign the lease. When I got to the house the washer dryer was gone. I called up and got no return phone call. I called again and they accused me of being a lier. In addtion property was not properly cleaned and garbage and junk strewn about. Landscaping and lawn not maintained recently. Missing doors and windows. Avoid renting from these people. read more

Let me tell u about these lying people. They tell u to have your carpet professional okay I did gave them receipt. Next thing I know I get my refund they charge me $195 for carpet clean which they say a spot in living room and hallway. So they tell me it cost that much because the have to have all floors did but why when it was only the living room and hallway. Than they charge me 40 a piece for 2 screen which where tore up already they need to show me proof but they give u the run around. Needed to break lease, as the house was not as advertised. We lived there hoping we could actually get the lease lie fixed as we liked the house and neighborhood. Liked the owner, but CPMG not so much. They were responsive to immediate repairs, but the plumbers they sent were sexist and rude. It was the rude plumber who told us we could not use the second bathroom because it was not to code. Also, CPMG will not talk to renters personally if they think you are not keeping outside property perfect. They slap a notice on the door and run. The notice threatens to evict one if the "violation" is not fixed. I do not recommend renting from this company. read more

Properties aren't well maintained especially sewer. They maintenance center hardly ever answers. I have been in my apartment for less than 2 months and have had the same problems almost daily. And god forbid you have a maintenance problem on the weekends. You might as well get a hotel. Or a card board box. DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. If I could give a zero (0) stars I would. They lie and steal your money. HOW ON EARTH DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS? I have been a great renter for over a year and a half. After 3 months they raised my rent another $100 per month. I spent (no kidding) months cleaning and making sure the home to make sure it was in tip top shape. For my $1395 deposit I got a piddly $408 back. I do realize the carpet needed to be cleaned so I didn't do that. They sent me photos of stuff I don't even know what they're supposed to be. The oven that I cleaned TWICE they said it was filthy. For all the cleaning I did (woodwork, floors, mirrors, stove, under the appliances, frig, counters, you name it) they said it was filthy. I am retired and had many hours a day to clean which I did every day for months. I was so proud of the house and how clean it was. Each time I've rented somewhere I leave it in better shape than when I moved in. I had a broken front door and bedroom window (took over a year for them to fix: bedroom freezing all winter, made so many calls I gave up) which THEY CHARGED ME FOR!! They were damaged during a hail storm. No amount of words can describe the bitchy attitude they have and I've been snapped at, talked nasty to, lied to and so on. They will do ANYTHING at all to keep as much as they can from your deposit to do any updates and whatever they feel they need to keep your money. DON'T RENT FROM THESE GUYS. They are nasty, hateful and absolutely not in this to help you out in ANY way. Sleep on the streets instead of renting from them. They are not on your side no matter what. I waited to make this review until I got my deposit back.. it was a slap in the face. I shouldn't have even cleaned the house as much as I did. I hope you don't make the same mistake I did. CPMG is the absolute worst mortgage company in Cheyenne. They do not care about tenants' hospitality. They do not take care of tenants' well being. I had an issue with their company so I called and scheduled a maintenance request; and the "repair and service" company BNB came out and deemed our equipment perfectly fine. After months of living with faulty equipment. I walked in their office and explained the situation to them, after waiting 5 to 7 minutes to be helped while an employee sat behind a desk and stared at me, and asked politely if I could get newer equipment. Their reasoning was just no, with no explanation as to why I could not receive better equipment. I had then asked if I could just outright purchase my own equipment and again, they just said no. They did not give me any reason or justification as to why. One of the workers claimed that " it could damage the floors" if I bought brand new equipment. I told them that I would save them money because of the newer equipment and yet again, their reasoning was just "no" the maintenance company said it was "fine." So, who does the mortgage company trust? Obviously, not the tenants. They would rather you live with faulty equipment and suffer then see to it that you get the equipment that you needed to live in a normal apartment. I am appalled at the service they provide. I have been a client of Cheyenne Property Management Group for a little over 4 years now and their service is outstanding! My property and its tenants are well taken care of. I'm notified promptly of any maintenance issues and those issues are taken care of immediately, which I'm sure makes my tenants happy! CPMG screens well and I have had no issues with rent payments and have had very little turnover as well. CPMG continues to expand and offer new services and I am excited to be a part of their organization. read more
